Company Profile

About Kilimanjaro Treks are true experts when it comes to Tanzania. We live, work and travel here. We specialize in the full Tanzanian experience, from climbing Kilimanjaro to safaris in any of our many Tanzania National Parks and conservation areas. Our safari department is based in Moshi. Our experienced staff will work with you to customize the perfect Tanzanian adventure.

A safari is a journey. This is the meaning of the word in Swahili, the language of East Africa. Your journey into Africa starts with About Kilimanjaro Treks. When you join our safaris you will be met on the airport, taken to a hotel (lodge) or a central meeting point and receive a short briefing before you set off.

Our safari itinerary has been designed for visitors who want to see the most important national parks in the Tanzania! This trip is also ideal for photographers who like to see a lot of wildlife, including the big 5.

We can accommodate groups of any size on our safaris and treks. We can help you to arrange treks on several mountains in Tanzania, a safari in Tanzania and beach holidays to Zanzibar. We know how to help you maximize your holiday experience. Our experienced, professional, English speaking staff will make sure that your adventure is a safe and successful one.

You will be transported in a well-maintained, clean 4WD Toyota Landcruiser safari vehicle, driven by a professional local guide in areas that will leave you breathless with wonder and excitement. You will search for the ‘Big Five’ – buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino – and will stare at amazement at grass-covered savannas, extinct volcanoes and rare birds. You will see animals, landscapes and flowers; you will meet the local peoples and taste the local food.

We believe that our considerable experience and knowledge ensure we can offer you a unique, exciting and unforgettable African safari experience. Almost 70 per cent of our bookings comes from referrals or repeat business.
