The company was founded by a professional safari guide Teko Mbwe Ketlogetswe, who has over 30 years of guiding experience, and his wife Tshwarry Ketlogetswe, an experienced tourism professional who has worked with various lodges and safari companies in Botswana.
Driven by their passion for wildlife, tourism and authentic guest experiences, they established Baxanekhwe Safaris to share the beauty of Botswana with travelers from around the world. The company was registered with CIPA in 2013, obtained its tourism licence in 2016, and began operating in 2017.
