Abel and Tony were family friends before realizing their dream of forming a Tour Company. Tony is a certified accountant, a bussinessman and a very experienced driver while Abel is a sales and travel consultant with over 10 years of experience in the tourism industry! Abel and Tony have travelled in different parts of the World; attending meetings and sharing experiences with other ‘travel professionals’ regarding various attractions and what these destinations have to offer to the travel enthusiasts from all around the Globe! Abel has spent more than 10 years arranging successful adventures including Wildlife Safaris, Mountain treks, Walking Safaris, Cultural tours, Bike (Cycling) tours and Zanzibar Beach Holidays for overseas Travel Partners, Corporates, Charity Organisations, Schools, Group of friends, Families, and private/ individuals from all around the World! Trek & Hide Adventures is set to arranging and running the most successful adventures.
Trek & Hide Adventures began operations with one office secretary who also worked full time as a Reservation Manager, one Professional Cook, one Safari Vehicle, a professional Safari driver guide and one mountain guide. The Directors did not sit behind; apart from looking after the Company’s Health, they dedicated their full time to work tirelessly in the Company office as Sales & Marketing, Product Development, Finance and all tasks related to Operations. Where needed, the Company hired professionals and experts for other frelated issues such as professional advice, preparation of legal documents etc.
Our Head Office is located in Moshi town which makes it ideal location as a departure point for our day to day tours including Safaris in the northern circuit of Tanzania, Mt Kilimanjaro climbs and other adventurous activities; including treks on Mount Meru and Mt. Longido, Walking Safaris in Arusha National Park and West Kilimanjaro and so forth.
We carefully select and train our Safari drivers and mountain crew, to ensure that despite their long experience on Safari and on the mountains, they are all qualified enough to be able to carry on their duties with maximum safety to themselves and to our clients. Our tour guides are fully licensed professionals with extensive first aid and valid outdoor training.
Our rates are very realistic and reasonable as per service and quality standards set. We are very flexible and we will do our best to assist our clients to end up with the best tour itinerary based on our clients’ need and expectations!
