HISTORY
Off Road Uganda Safaris is founded and run by a woman in a very male dominated part of the world. Work experience of over 10 years in the tourism sector led to a long leap into self-employment. On 20th March 2017, Off Road Uganda safaris was registered as a limited company under the laws of Uganda with services extended to Rwanda. Hilda’s work years include serving as senior administrator at the Association of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO) and operations manager for one of the big tour companies in Uganda and Rwanda.
The company was founded to provide rewarding safari experiences, as a motivator for more women to become business owners. In a world where the old adage ‘educate a woman and educate a nation’ still carries alot of wieght, women must be empowered. This inspiration drives Off Road Uganda Safaris on a daily basis, to be the best safari planner and handler for Rwanda and Uganda. Moreover weare turning over into doing sustainable tourism.
MISSION
To provide well thought out, scheduled and tailor made private safari packages. The client’s interest and budget are key to us in safari planning. We care about every individual‘s need, and understand that every one is unique. We help to keep the girl child in school which heavily motivates our flawless safari operations.

Off Road Uganda Safaris cares about the environment, and responds to the calls of responsible tourism in every way within our means. All plastic bottles generated in the course of the safaris are gathered and passed on for recycling. All our staff appreciate the importance of conservation and its benefits to the environment. PARTNERS
Off Road Uganda Safaris licensed by Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), is a full member of the Association of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO), and has a good working relationship with stakeholders in the tourism sector like: Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), among others.
VEHICLES
We use well maintained, customized safari vans and land cruisers with sliding windows, pop up roofs and binoculars in the car for enhanced game viewing.
STAFF GUIDE/ DRIVERS
Our team consists of safari guides/drivers, reservations and marketing personnel. All our staff are patient, passionate and know the destination well.
