Rustic Expeditions Ltd was founded by two friends who met through their shared love of hiking and running. Majority Ugandan-owned and female-led, we hold a deep passion for showcasing our country’s incredible landscapes, cultures and outdoor experiences, putting Uganda on the map as Africa’s next adventure capital.
Ten per cent of our proceeds go directly to the Rustic Expeditions Foundation which we created to make domestic travel more accessible - especially to Ugandans who would not otherwise have the means to explore and learn about their country.
We also reinvest into sustainable tourism destinations across the countries and partner with service providers that take their impact on the environment and the surrounding communities seriously.
