Based in Arusha, the company was founded by Joshua Mushendwa from Bukoba, near Lake Victoria, and Barbro Finskas Mushendwa from the small village of Jeppo in Western Finland.
What began as a shared vision between two people from completely different parts of the world grew into a trusted safari company dedicated to creating meaningful journeys across Tanzania. The name “J.M.” comes from Joshua Mushendwa — a reflection of the personal story and passion behind the brand.
