Trip of a lifetime!
5/5

Just returned from safari with my friend Susan. What a
fantastic trip! I cannot thank you enough for your part in this trip.
Let me first tell you Simon Mayotte was such an amazing driver and
guide! He made our safari absolutely perfect. His knowledge about
everything was so informative and enjoyable. We saw and learned so
much about the animals and places we experienced. I am missing him
now.
The camps and lodge were beautiful. The Plantation Lodge was a treat
as was the Nimali Tarangire camp. The Nasakia camps were unbelievably
fantastic. The staff at all of the locations were wonderful. Kasim
at Naono Moru was especially helpful while we were there.
I must tell you that Kaskaz Camp must be your next winner. This new
camp was of course beautiful, but the staff was outstanding. I still
smile every time I think of them. What a great group of young men!
Their songs and dance for us was such fun. They seem to get along so
well together.
Needless to say, if anyone asks me for a reference for a safari, I
will definitely be recommending Maasa Wanderings.
Many thanks to all for a successful trip of a lifetime!

An awe-inspiring, once-in-a-lifetime trip
5/5

I cannot recommend Maasai Wanderings highly enough. I and my daughter travelled through Tanzania with them (organised by our excellent UK agent, Bushbaby) and everything was superb, from the organisation to the accommodation to what we actually saw (which was nearly everything). We went from Arusha to Tarangire, Ngorogoro, Oldupai Gorge and the Serengeti.

Our guide Chris was absolutely incredible. We really appreciated his kindness and helpfulness, his super knowledge of all the wildlife, his excellent, safe driving and his good humour. We felt very looked after; it was great to be able to hand over responsibility for the logistics so we could really enjoy everything. Chris even put up with our terrible singing without a word of complaint. The trip was a legacy from my mum whom we sadly lost two years ago, and it really was an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime adventure. We loved everything and had a truly wonderful time – even better than we could have imagined. We will remember it forever.

Thank you so much to Maasai Wanderings, and especially to Chris.

A Life Changing Experience
5/5

We spent 7 nights on safari, with our fantastic guide, Peter. We travelled from Arusha to the Tarangire National Park, onto the Ngorongoro Crater and finishing up in Northern Serengeti. Peter was extremely knowledgable and what struck me the most was he was excited as we were on spotting and discovering wildlife - complacency had not set in even after all his years of guiding. We saw wonderful wildlife, the most beautiful scenery and the most lovely people. This was our first time (and probably our only time) on safari as a family - as this was a big holiday for us and i am sure that our positive experience with Maasai Wanderings has instilled a passion for future safaris when our children have grown up and have children of their own.

3 park adventure- Truly Amazing!!
5/5

Our trip organised entirely by Maasai Wanderings was the most incredible holiday my husband and I have experienced. From the moment we arrived everything was organised and such a smooth process. All our accommodation was 5 Star and the service from staff always of such a high standard. Our guide collected us from the airport and spent the next 7 days with us. He truly made our trip such an immersing experience. He was ever professional yet friendly and welcoming always, his knowledge was outstanding. He went above and beyond to make our trip so special. We couldn't recommend the Maasai Wanderings team highly enough. The Kas Kaz Mara Camp in Serengeti is seriously somewhere to put on your wish list for accommodation- amazing! Cant thank Maasai Wandering enough for the wonderful adventure we had, everything and more we could have imagined for this trip.

Amazing Trip!
5/5

We had been trying to book a safari for about 4 weeks with a different company and they could not meet our needs. We contacted Maasai Wanderings to ask about their trips and within 48 hours, we had the trip we wanted and had paid our deposit! The entire experience was fantastic. Our guide met us the evening before we left on Safari to give us a briefing of the trip and to get us set up. This was impressive as he had to drive for about 40 minutes to the hotel we were staying in. Once we started the trip it was magical. We spent some days in the Serengeti and saw cheetahs hunting, lions hunting, a leopard every day and a group of 9 lions in a tree on our last evening. We even saw 2 rhinos! Our next safari will be with Maasi Wanderings for sure.

Magical experience!
5/5

What an amazing trip! Masaii wanderings is top of the line for sure. Everything was beautifully arranged - way beyond our expectations. Every detail was taken care of, Donna and our guide Godwin were flexible and accommodating to our particular interests and have great suggestions when we didn't know what we wanted!

Our guide Godwin was incredible knowledgable (and totally impressed my mom - who has studied a fair bit of African wildlife biology) and absolutely hilarious! We had so much fun going on safari with him!

Our accomodations were incredible, we got amazing views of the wildlife, had a great mixture of relaxation and adventure, and had the best mother-daughter bonding that we've probably ever had.

In addition to runnin a great company, Donna and Nas are also extremely knowledgable and active in East African conservation issues and social/community work - truly a beautiful, ethically-conscientious company. I will forever book my safari adventures with them!

Amazing experience!
5/5

Masaii Wanderings was amazing right from the get-go. Donna was able to deal with all my bookings and silly questions (it was my first time to Africa so I had plenty). She was incredibly helpful, professional and courteous! Even with the changes I had, she was able to accommodate me first, and then 2 friends and their slightly different schedules as well!

The camp at Naona Moru (and Diana who runs it) is also amazing and I could go on about the camp but i've left a great review on trip advisor - https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g293751-d9830857-Reviews-Naona_Moru_Camp-Serengeti_National_Park.html

I'm told that this camp is use almost exclusively by Masaii Wanderings so I can assure you that it's an amazing camp!

Safari Superb
5/5

Maasai Wanderings (Donna, our guide, Evarest, and Diana at Naona Moru Camp) were so excellent to work with, I'd gladly go back and do another safari with them, and highly recommend them to others. We had a short time, only 4 days/3 nights) starting in Arusha - to Sopa Lodge (really nice) and Ngorogoro Crater - then on to the Naono Moru and 2 days of the Serengeti. We got to see everything... even black rhinos in the crater, then a leopard and cheetahs in the Serengeti (Evarest was determined to help us see them, even going back to the "sighting" spot 3 times until we finally glimpsed the momma and two adolescent cheetahs... wonderful! I loved his driving capabilities on the tough roads, something I'd worried about before going to Africa. As everyone in my group of the 6 of us knows, I Loved emailing with Donna before the trip, as she was so responsive and perfect in all her emails... I mentioned several times that if I ever left my husband it would be for Donna! Diana was also so warm, friendly and knowledgable (and the camp was amazing) and attentive to our one gluten-free member... thanks! Appreciated being taken care of so nicely, y'all.

Fantastic! Unforgettable holiday
5/5

We have just returned from a five day safari in Tarangire, Serengetti and Ngorongoro Crater. It was an amazing and truly wonderful experience. Our driver/guide, Peter, was fantastic - very experienced and extremely knowledgable. We saw a huge amount of wildlife and had such a great time with him. The lodges and camps we stayed at were lovely and the staff were all so friendly and attentive. We were so impressed by the level of care and when we asked for a change in our itinerary to stay at Ndutu mobile camp rather than a third night at Naona Moru it was sorted and organised by Donna and Peter immediately. We cannot praise Maasai Wanderings enough and we are already planning a return visit in 2018 and will definitely be booking with Maasai Wanderings again.

An amazing experience!
5/5

We had a 2 week safari that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived in Dar Es Salam to the moment we flew home we were looked after by this company. Our guide Baraka was incredible in his knowledge of the country and the people and the wildlife. He was passionate about what he did and that was reflected in every aspect of this wonderful holiday. It was 2 weeks of bliss where we had nothing to do but to fully enjoy the experience. Our every need was seen to. Our accomodation at multiple lodges and camps was everything we could have hoped for. We were trested like royalty wherever we went. And of course, we saw every animal and bird we could have imagined with so many upclose and personal encounters. We could not recommend Maasai Wanderings more highly
