John at CKC Travels is everything you want in a safari planner: professional, patient, and reliable.
We had booked a safari with CKC Travels for August 2025, but unfortunately had to cancel due to my spouse’s health. From the very beginning, John was extremely professional, patient, and courteous throughout the entire process of planning and booking our trip. He was always prompt in his responses, and his proposal was very clear in outlining exactly what was covered and what was not.
When we had to cancel, John handled the process smoothly and processed the applicable refund promptly, which we truly appreciated.
Although we haven’t yet taken the safari, we fully intend to plan it again next year and will definitely reach out to John when we do—hopefully with better luck on the health front. Based on our experience so far, we would highly recommend CKC Travels to anyone considering a safari. If the actual safari matches the level of professionalism and care we’ve experienced with John, I’m confident it will be a truly splendid adventure.

Professional and serious
The landscapes crossed along the Sirimon and Chogoria trails are superb: unique flora and fauna. It's magical! The whole team (porters, cook and guide) fulfilled their mission very well: thank you to them for facilitating and enriching our trek... From the reception at the airport to the return to our hotel at the end of the circuit, everything went very well. Very good presentation.

Exceeded expectations - highly recommended!
We had a brilliant trip to Kenya with CKC in September 2024 for a family group of 12 people. CKC arranged a Mount Kenya trek followed by drivers to tour Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. John at CKC was really helpful planning the trip - always fast to respond to queries and completely reliable. When we got to Kenya, CKC exceeded our expectations. The Mount Kenya guides and support team were highly experienced professionals and really nice and fun people too. The trek itself was magnificent. The drivers were helpful and reliable and all the transport was seamless. For my next trip to Kenya, I’ll go straight to CKC. Thanks John!

No Reason to be Scared
I was nervous sending money to Africa for anything due to the many scams. This company delivered 100% of what was quoted, worked with me extensively to design a perfect tour and kept track of us on our travels. Thank you for a memorable experience. FYI Pay for the upgrade to Ol Tukai at Amboseli if you go there its in the middle of the herd.

Super friendly and excellent service
We had an amazing experience with CKC as our guide for climbing Mount Kenya. From start to finish, their professionalism, expertise, and care were exceptional. The communication with John before the trip was great - he answered my questions on WhatsApp and was in touch frequently.
The guides were really knowledgeable about the flora and fauna on the route, which made for a really interesting trek. They took great care to ensure our safety at every step, making the trek both enjoyable and challenging in the best way possible. Their passion for the mountain and deep understanding of local wildlife and culture enriched our experience tremendously. The team also provided excellent support, in particular the delicious meals, ensuring we were well-prepared for the summit.
We couldn't recommend CKC more highly for anyone looking to embark on a trek to Mount Kenya!

It was best trip in my life. Every day I dream come back to Kenya. Our group saw all animals, the guide was wonderful. I especially liked the hotel Lake Naivasha sopa lodge. Unreal place. All people I recommend it.
