Did not disappoint
Once again Peaks & Safaris out did themselves. We started working on this safari for gorilla trekking in early 2025 and were originally scheduled 6/2026. Due to Ebola we ended up having to push our trip to September. At every step of the way they were there working with us and the schedules of 6 people coming from 3 different parts of the U.S. the safari, guide and accommodations were outstanding. The chimp trek - AMAZING! The Gorilla Trek, the hardest thing I have ever done but so so worth it. Queen Elizabeth Park had an abundance of wildlife viewing. And ending our safari with the viewing of the shoebill stork was special.
This is the 4th time I have worked with Peaks & Safaris and I cannot say enough of about the ease of process, working within your budget and the value you get. From the time you are met at the airport to the time you are dropped off you are treated like royalty.

The driver she assigned to us became our trusted companion, and with him we were able to experience a truly authentic journey, far away from the usual tourist trails.

Edward and Harrison helped us learn a lot about the different species we were seeing!
We saw so many amazing animals during our trip and learned more about each species than I could have hoped! Our tour operators were able to spot animals far in the distance and were very informative with each species that we were seeing. Overall a great experience, Edward and Harrison were very kind and made our time there enjoyable.

Exciting and intelligent, very knowledgeable about the land and animals
I went as part of a large college group, we had very specific task and needs to complete our assignments each day. For 3 weeks our guides went above and beyond to help us complete these tedious tasks with no complaints. Absolutely made the trip!

Edward and Harrison are both extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the local Kenyan wildlife
10/10 experience with Edward and Harrison from Peaks & Safaris! They have loads of knowledge to share about the animals, clearly love the wildlife, and are a blast to go on game drives with! They always managed to get us the very best experiences (i.e. leopard hunting a thomson’s gazelle) and know how to get you the best angle for fantastic photos. They also made sure we were taken care of from the moment we landed in Kenya to the moment we were heading back home - so we never felt unsure of what was going on or where we needed to be. The absolute best guides!

Overall, our tour was incredible and life changing. Our tour guides went above and beyond in every aspect, ensuring that we were able to view as many species as possible, while also prioritizing safety and comfy travel. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and were able to answer every question we had about the wildlife there. As a photographer, they were also very accommodating with positioning the vehicle to ensure good photography angles. Most importantly, our tour guides were very friendly and fun people to be around, making the entire trip so memorable.

Harrison and Edward were absolutely AMAZING.
