Top notch guides, well-organized
5/5

Relied on Snow Africa for a Kilimanjaro climb, a one-day trip in Arusha NP, and a 3-day trip to Lake Manyara and Ngorngoro Crater. All three trips were well-organized, and the guides/ drivers were excellent. On Kili, Florent (the owner) and Julius (Lead Guide) are both very experienced and capable, and kept things moving without a hitch. Julius in particular has incredible experience on the mountain and because he loves being there, is a joy to be around. Likewise for Charles, our driver/ guide for LM and NCA. He knows wildlife, birds and plants intimately, and has great connections among the rangers. He was able to organize a last-minute ranger-led walking safari along the crater rim and a great visit to an off-the-beaten-path Masai village. He was enthusiastic about everything we saw, despite having seen much of it before. The safari vehicles were in great shape. I wouldn't think of using anyone else if/ when I return to TZ.

Kilimanjaro with Snow Africa Adventures
5/5

We planned and organized our Kilimanjaro trek was very well with Florent who was patient, and very nice helping us with all the details, advice on the best route, travel requirements, packing list and always available to respond to our emails and WhatsApp messages.
It was a great start to our guide waiting when we arrived in Kilmanjaro after a long layover in Dubai and the punctuality and flawless planning continued through the entire trek.
We had a trouble free trek, filled with many special moments, but nothing beats the feeling of watching the early morning sunrise from Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa.
If you are planning to do Kilimanjaro then contact Snow Africa Adventures

Marvelous Trip with my boys
5/5

My two teenage sons and I spent 6 days touring Tanzania, from Moshi, Arusha, Manyara, Serergeti and lastly Ngorongoro Crater with Chiba our guide. We are lucky that Florent did a marvelous job planning our trip so that we did not miss any activity or reservation. Chiba turned out to be very knowledgeable on a wide range of subjects ranging from wildlife, culture, history and general world outlook. He did more than enough to give us the best experiences of Tanzania.
The selected lodges were well appointed and perfectly located for safari.
This was a rewarding trip and I cannot say enough good things about my Tanzania experience with Snow Africa Adventures. I would use them again with no hesitation!

Incredible Kilimanjaro trekking and safari
5/5

We had an amazing Kilimanjaro trekking experience with Snow Africa Adventures at the beginning of the year. The booking process with Florent was easy and smooth, always giving timely comprehensive responses and secure payments.
Julius our main mountain guide from Snow Africa Adventures picked us up from the airport to our hotel and returned later in the evening for a detailed briefing about the 7 days Machame climb and inspect our equipment.
Julius is an incredibly experienced guide and knew everything about Kilimanjaro, leading the crew of 12 porters and Mzuzu our expedition chef with Hussein his assistant.

This journey pushed us to discover our strengths and frailities when we had to rely on the expertise of our crew. They kept us safe at all times, there were daily health checks just to make sure we were in good health. The food was plentiful and surprisingly excellent. We are lucky to have agreed to go with a mobile toilet because I was shocked by the filth of the public facilities

Honestly these guys are the real and we would not have made it to the summit without them. I have nothing but great admiration and gratitude for their professionalism and hard work.

We also had 3 amazing days of safari to Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro crater after the trek with safari guide Lorry. We were treated to thrilling game drives filled with wildlife encounters and relaxed overnights in excellent lodges.

I fully recommend Snow Africa Adventures as an excellent choice for Kilimanjaro trekking and safari expeditions

Our guide Lorry made our experience wonderful!
5/5

Snow Africa Adventures took care of us for six days in Tanzania, from Lake Myanara, to the Ngorongoro Crater, to the Serengeti. We stayed in the Serena Lodge near the crater, and in two tent camps in the Serengeti. Every day we were out in the safari truck seeing the sights. Our driver/guide Lorry was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and very competent. Six days turned out to be a long time in the safari truck; we were often in the truck for eight hours at a time. But we saw so many wonderful sights that it was a small price to pay. Animal sightings included wildebeests, zebras, hippos, buffaloes, antelopes, giraffes, elephants, lions, birds of all kinds, jackals, crocodiles, and cheetahs. The tent camps were fun, the food was fine, and the views great. Sometimes hard to sleep with the wildebeests so close and loud, but that was part of the adventure.
We would have liked to have been advised to take a good supply of US dollars. We had to pay $100 in cash per person to get into Tanzania, and at the camps, US cash dollars were needed to by a bottle of wine for dinner and for tips. This was my only complaint: that we didn't get that message ahead of time.

Great experience with Snow Africa in Tanzania!
5/5

We did 2 tours with Snow Africa. The first one was the Kilimanjaro Trek via Machame Route (7 days) and a 3 day safari through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti.

On the Kilimanjaro Trek we went along with our 2 guides, 1 cook and porters. They have always taken very good care of us, we have always got fresh, boiled water to drink and for clean up ourself. Joshua our chef was a really great cooker, especially his soups! Every evening we have a 3-course menu and lunch boxes/hot lunches during the day. Our guides, Julius and Hussein, were also very nice, they told us a lot about themselves and their life in Tanzania. From the walking pace they have adapted to us and also as we did not so well because of altitude sickness, they took good care of us. Although we did not have much to do with the Porters, they were always friendly to us. The work they do is very exhausting and hard, but you always seem them laughing. It was a pleasure to have met this team!

After Kilimanjaro and a break in Zanzibar, we came back to the Mainland for a Safari. We decided to do the Safari with Snow Africa, because we were really happy with the owner Florent and the Trek before. We did a private 3 day safari through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti. We stayed in 2 different public camps in the nationalparks in tents with our guide Benjamin and the same chef Joshua like on the Kilimanjaro trek. Our guide was really friendly and knows a lot about animals and the nationalparks. Because of him, we saw a lot of animals, especially our wish for male lions, actually we spotted the BIG Five.

We can only recommend Snow Africa and would do a tour with them anytime we came back to Tanzania. Everything was well planned and organized. Thanks for everything!

Went to the Arusha NP. Clear communication, great tour, highly recommended.
5/5

Florent came by our hotel in order to sort out our last minute booking and details of the tour. This helped a lot, and the tour reflected our communication.

Our driver, John, was really helpful with anything we needed, the car was comfortable, and in general, the trip was really rewarding. The walking safari was really great as well, the park ranger at Arusha NP was professional and made our tour enjoyable.

Great Experience for our first Safari thanks to John!
5/5

First of all the meeting at the airport went without any problems. We found John, our guide, very easily and then our adventure directly started. 5 minutes after arriving in Tarangire National Park we have seen already Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras and Wilderbeasts. And this was only the beginning! John drove us to many different places where we could see a lot of different animals. Already on the first day, we had the pleasure of spotting a deluge of different & many animals.
Thanks to John, as he has an eagle sight and could spot almost anything out there and could also give us a lot of information about the different animals that we have and haven't seen yet.
Apart from that we also enjoyed talks with John very much (as example at the dinner or lunch) about anything (e.g lifestyle, education, history, politics, private life) of Tanzania.
The accommodation provided exceeded any expectation, being in middle of the wild life, having a Zebra pee in front of our window in middle of the night. Even walking at night could be dangerous during the night (hello to the Zebra on the path), so Maasai protection was available. The lodge itself was beautifully decorated and very clean, additional bonus is a beautiful terrace and a garden shower. Of course we cannot forget about the swimming pool (no time to use sadly) with the panorama view over the park, filled with Zebras, Elephants, Giraffes, Antilopes.
The 2nd day we went to the Lake Manyara National Park, where we could see & experience a totally different natural environment (from tropical forests to savanna and swamps). The last but not least, John was among the first to spot a Leopard (apparently the hardest to spot). Therefore and thanks to that, during 2 days we could spot 4 out of the African Big Five Animals. (Rhinos were not living in the parks we visited).
It was very pleasant to meet Florent (the owner of the company), who then was also so kind to drive us to our next destination. Overall this trip exceeded our expectations, especially for our first safari ever. We would have never expected to see so many different animals in such a short time.

a trustworthy company, always at the attention of its customers
5/5

On September 20, 2018 we went trekking Kilimanaro on the Machame road and a safari 4 days 3 nights in a camping package. Extraordinary holidays with a team of guide and extraordinary bearer. Always a little care with us so that the trek be a success all along the line.
A Ngorongoro and Sarengeti Crater Camping Safari with a very safe guide and plenty of experience to spot the animals.
For us Florent Ipananga is a man of confidence just like the company Snow Africa Adventure.
Congratulations Snow Africa Adventure you have made us live a great adventure
