Highly recommend Kennedy
5/5

Kenny(Kennedy) picked us up at the Airport and took us to our Hotel. Next day Kenny drove us to the Elephant Nursery, Giraffe Centre, then suggested that we had time to go to Karen Blixen's Estate. Which we did and would recommend to anyone. He was a lot of fun and knows his stuff. Kenny also recommended a couple of great Restaurants which we enjoyed.
Val his wife came along to meet us, which was lovely.
Thanks Kenny for such great knowledge and service, you made our short stay in Nairobi very enjoyable.

Extremely informative !!
5/5

Our driver Alan Martin was excellent in information service and safety. He was above excellent. Kennedy and his lovely wife was most accommodating. I love the hearts of the Kenyan people. I continue to pray for them. Best company thus far on my mission trips to Kitale. Will definitely use them again and again. See you in 2020. Hello Martin aka Walter. Lol. Rita Martin.Elevate Church

Fantastic
5/5

We were recommended Waymark Safaris by Sarova Mara Game Camp (which was fantastic by the way). Geoffrey picked us up from Nairobi airport and drove the bumpy 5 hours to Maasai Mara and was our guide for the next 4 days. We saw 20+ lions including cubs and even saw lions mating. We also saw giraffes, zebra, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, hippo and many more. Geoffrey was absolutely fantastic and we thoroughly recommend him.

They were on time and the drivers were very knowledgable. I will use this company everytime
5/5

From the owner to the drivers, this company lived up to their word. we had 22 people we had to transport from Kitale to Lake Nakuru to Nairobi and they did it without a problem. The vehicles were in great condition and everyone road comfortably. The drivers were very Knowledgable of the areas we traveled and had plenty of interesting conversation.

Highly recommend for their professionalism and quality of driver/ guide
5/5

We spent five days in mid August in the Masai Mara. We had already booked our accommodation but wanted a private driver/ guide for the duration of our stay. There are so many companies who provide these services, it was a challenge to choose one. Particularly because we wanted value for money without selecting the most expensive or the least expensive (which we assumed indicated a compromise of quality - perhaps unfair of us). We had to be picked up in Nakuru and dropped off five days later at Nairobi airport. Waymark were reasonable with their quote for a van and professional to deal with. For these reasons, we chose Waymark for our trip.

We could not have been happier. Although they sent us images of a new van in their email correspondence and provided an older van, there was nothing else to fault them on. Duncan, our driver and guide was a legend. He drove very well, was always punctual and polite, had a great sense of humour and got us to all the best sightings each day. Despite being an older van, it served us well. It was very reliable and comfortable. There was nothing more we needed for our purposes.

All in all, I would highly recommend Waymark for their professionalism, reliability and excellent driver and guide. A wonderful first experience in the Masai Mara.

Amazing big 5 experience in Masai Mara
5/5

From the very first contact with Christine, the service from Waymark was great. We were picked up right on time by Richard, who maintained his friendly, punctual self the whole trip. With Julius, the Masai guide, he made an effort to ensure that during our safari we saw everything we wanted to. Nice to see that they themselves were still touched by the amazing scenes we saw. As experienced travellers, we had our fair share of guides, Richard and Julius are off the class that we would not mind (to say the least) to travel with again. Thank you for an amazing experience seeing all the big 5 plus some bonuses!

Wonderful holidays in Kenya for 2 consecutive years
5/5

In 2011 and 2012 we visited one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Both years Waymark organized these trips for us in a perfect way. In 2011 we visited Shaba/Buffalo Springs/Samburu, Sweetwater, Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara. To end our holidays we then transferred to Mombasa White Sands. Once there, we decided we missed the game drives too much and with just one phonecall we arranged for an extra 2-day safari in Tsavo East ad West.
In 2012 we started our trip in the East of Kenya at the shores of Lake Victoria. Waymark had arranged for the best place to stay at Kiboko Bay Hotel. At the Impala Center we were able to get pictures with a cheetah, quite unique ! From there again a short visit to Lake Nakuru, followed by a long stay in Maasai Mara. This time we ended our trip in Nairobi with a.o. visits to the Giraffe Center and David Sheldrick.
It would take too long to mention all the highlights during both these years, but what you can expect when booking your safari with Waymark is a unique eperience: 1) Excellent hotels/lodges; during our stays we have visited all Sarova hotels and though different in appearance, all provide excellent services 2) Very experienced drivers with outstanding knowledge of the local flora and fauna, who will put you in positions to make really unique pictures during your holidays; we have 2 very large photo's on our wall that constantly remind us of our wonderful times in Kenya, one of 6 (!) cheetahs and one of a male giraffe bonding with his newborn son. these are just a few examples of the unique pictures we were able to take ! And in 2012, we specifically asked for (and got !) the same driver as in 2011, Apollo. Both years felt like a warm bath, he looked after us "like a father does after his children". 3) Whatever issue or problem you encounter during you holidays, you can trust Waymark to solve, nothing's too much or too complicated. Perhaps the best way to make clear what they can do for you while in Kenya, is the fact that, eventhough it's been a while, we still keep in touch with both Ken and Val from Waymark and our driver Apollo. As Ken stated it in a mail: Karibu Kenya tena....this is your (2nd) home !! And they know we will be back !

Great Prices and the Personal Touch
5/5

I have used Waymark Safaris several times for my Nairobi arrangements, the latest being in August and September, 2014. The service they provide is outstanding and their prices are considerably less than other local outfitters I've seen. On the safari (booked by a safari planner in the US), my roommate got sick and was airlifted to the Nairobi Hospital for a week. The company whose camp we were at handled the initial arrangements, but, with only one person in Nairobi, they weren't able to be her advocate after a couple of days. That's when I called Kennedy at Waymark and asked if he could help. He wasn't in Nairobi, but his wife Val and another lady in their office stepped in and made sure that everything went smoothly for my roommate. When she checked out of the hospital, they set up hotel arrangements and transport for her so that she could rejoin our group on the last day for our Nairobi tour. They didn't have to do any of this, since they weren't the outfitters for the actual safari, but their care, compassion and competency were invaluable. And this wasn't the first time! On a safari in 2007, my sister became ill from the malaria meds. When we arrived in Nairobi several hours before our flight home, Kennedy found a place for her to rest and took her to a pharmacy to ensure that she had the meds she needed to help her get home. If you want great personal service from your Kenya outfitter, you can't beat Waymark Safaris!
