Wonderful honeymoon safari!
The highlight of our honeymoon was our 7 day safari with Zohar. Lilian thoughtfully arranged our itinerary, accommodations, and several personalized surprises along the way. She was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. Our guide, Solomon, was amazing. He clearly loves what he does. He is a super talented guide and showed us so many things. I'm blown away at the things we saw -- from driving through the Great Migration in the southern Serengeti/ Ngorongoro Conservation Area to finding a leopard in a tree in a remote area to seeing a lion feasting on a wildebeest to showing us shifting sands --- and so so much more. We loved hearing his insights and his enthusiasm for nature is infectious. All of our accommodations were wonderful and Lilian and Solomon organized for us to have delicious hot lunches each day on safari instead of cold box lunches (a real luxury!). Lilian set us up with some really nice boutique accommodations. We also had a minor health event towards the end of the safari (not the fault of anyone at all and everything ended up being totally fine), and Lilian was so on top of it. She provided super speedy assistance and one of her staff members personally took us to a clinic in Arusha and waited with us. Overall, would 1000% recommend Lilian, Solomon, and Zohar. Amazing, personalized experience and wonderful memories.

Fantastic experience! Absolutely recommend this Tanzanian-owned company!
My partner and I worked with Zohar to design a 5-day safari in northern Tanzania. Lilian was always prompt and extremely helpful in our email communications, ensuring that no request was left unanswered and all of the details of the itinerary were to our liking.
It was important to us to work with a Tanzanian-owned tour operator. This gave us confidence that the money we spent would benefit the local economy. As an added benefit, the recommendations Lilian gave us for cultural activities were interesting, culturally sensitive, and appropriate.
This was my third safari experience and it was by far the best I've ever had. Our guide Ahmed was world-class. He had incredible expertise to share about the ecology and species we viewed, and struck the perfect balance between keeping us safe and ensuring we had a great time! by the end of our trip, he felt like a dear friend. Our accommodations and Land Rover were extraordinarily comfortable.
The entire team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We happened to be in Tanzania for Valentine's Day, and they dropped off chocolates, wine, and roses at our hotel as a gift for us. This is but one example of the fantastic service we received.
In short, look no further than Zohar for your next safari experience!

Ngorongoro Crater
I had a wonderful experience with Zohar African Safaris. Lilian's personal touch was evident in all her planning and my stay at The Retreat was delightful. I thoroughly recommend the company and then safari. On our game drive in the crater we saw some of the largest elephants imaginable, rhinos and pairs of lions right beside the track. Sensational!

Perfect African Honeymoon
We had a great safari experience hosted by Zohar. Below are some of the highlights:
1. We requested a mix between luxury stay and premium stay in order to enjoy the hospitality of the finest resort while staying within budget as a newly wed. Lilian was so patient even with multiple changes and iterations while helping us customize our accommodations.
2. We requested a split payment: deposit prior to arrival & final payment on the day of arrival. We were in the midst of the corona virus outbreak, hence we were not sure if we could fly out since we would be flying from Asia. There was no certainty given the travel ban from some Asian countries. Lilian was also very accommodating & understanding that she agreed to such arrangement.
Shout out to Moses our driver!!! He made us feel safe and comfortable. He is sooo persistent in helping us spot animals during every game drive that we managed to spot all Big Five :)
We would definitely recommend Zohar for your safari trip.

INCREDIBLE SAFARI TOUR!!
Our safari tour with Zohar African Safaris was more than amazing! The service was astounding! Before starting the game drives, we had the pleasure of meeting Lilian, the director of the safari. She gave us all the tips that we needed to have a great safari experience. Our guide, Babu, was extremely nice and always on time for every activity. He always cared about our safety and really cared about the animals and the nature. Thanks to Babu, we were able to see more than 20 different species of animals - it was incredible! Additionally, the food that was provided was delicious and you did not leave hungry in any occasion. I STRONGLY recommend this safari to anyone that is going to Tanzania!

Special moment in my life that I’ll remember forever!
Everything was so wonderful and the customer service was beyond helpful! You guys are amazing & our guide, Solomon, was fantastic! The lodges that we stayed in were one of my favorite parts, as they were all beautiful and also very attentive to our needs. I will recommend Zohar to anyone I know going to Tanzania!

The Best Safari Team!!!
We went on an individual safari for the two of us. This was our first safari experience in life. At first it was a little exciting because it is very far from home. They were afraid to be lost in expectations. But in the end, all our fears were in vain. We received excellent service, an individual approach and many wonderful emotions. The trip with Zohar too the Hadzabe en Dagota tribes was very wel organized and very interesting
Zohar booked for me one night in The Retreat at Ngorongoro which was a wunderfull place; looks like a paradice. The staff ,service and 'dinner in this hotel was perfect. The other day David, the ecxcelent driver off Zohar brought me too the Hadzabe and too the Dagotatribe; to meet this people who were very hospitable and friendly and to see how they live was for me an experience I never will forget. With some guys from de Hadzabetribe we went on a tripp into the woods too see how they hunt ; really great! Lilian, the owner off Zohar organised everything very wel and gave me a lott off information about Tanzania. I also stayed one night in the B&B beside here house which was also a very clean, quiet and beautifull place.

Amazing cultural Tanzania experience, simply couldn't be any better!
We are 3 people from the Netherlands whom booked a cultural experience through Lilian from Zohar African Safaris. What we were looking for, was an authentic cultural experience. Not a fake, staged performance but a real interaction with an authentic tribe. I have experience a number of other tribe interactions in other African countries before (9 in total) and I can honestly say this was the first time that I felt I visited a real tribe, living their authentic daily life and not performaning an act for us.
Before booking, Lilian was always available and she quickly and clearly answered all the questions we had. We booked our safari through another company and the tribe visit Lilian recommended was a little out of the way, but this was no issue for Lilian. She suggested some changes in our safari itinerary and this worked out very smoothly so we could easily add the tribe visit to our safari. I am very grateful to Lilian that she arranged this for us, it enriched our lives and really added to our stay in Tanzania.
The car used was very comfortable. It was a very spacious car, has good suspension on the uneven Tanzanian roads and the driver (Daniel) was very skilled - avoiding the potholes where possible and telling us interesting facts and stories about Tanzania and its people and traditions while he drove. Daniel comes highly recommended.
Zohar promises to offer a stress free holiday "built around you" and that is precisely what Lilian does - and more! She really goes the extra mile to make sure you're having the time of your life and that's why I can heartily recommend Zohar African Safaris to anyone looking to enjoy all that Tanzania has to offer. Great Family Safari
We had a specific itinerary in mind and traveled as a family of four with two young boys. Zohar was able to arrange this on a very short notice of less than one week.
The service was excellent and accommodation luxurious, great custom service everywhere, price was very reasonable but the best part was to enjoy the nature and connect with Serengeti.
Our guide Chillie became a mentor and friend and intimately knew his way around and after getting to know us made the trip special, personal and exiting for us. Thanks.
