Great time in Arusha region with Quest Horizon
5/5

My family and I had a very good time in the Arusha region with Quest Horizon. Their team was reliable, resourceful and flexible so that we could enjoy every moment of our stay. We particularly appreciated that the guides were knowledgable both during the 1 day cultural tour and the 3 days safari in Arusha National Park and Ngorongoro. I warmly recommend this operator.

When a return again to Arusha, definitely I will ask for them.

Excellent Safari, Incredible Guide and Service
5/5

Overall the safari was great from start to finish. Everything from the lodging, the food, the company, the locations scouted and the knowledge of our guide.

Below are the key areas we considered when rating our experience with Quest Horizon...

Knowledge of the guide of the area and environment - Very knowledgeable. Knowing endless facts and patient enough to repeat the same things over and over when each person asked the question in various forms. Knew animal and bird types, where to find the best view of the wildlife, able to scout locations of lion prides, spotting wildlife we could not even see with binoculars, etc

Camps - Everything is organized, clean and comfortable. We found that the camps surpassed even the hotels and top accommodations we have experienced in west and east Africa.

Food - Food at the camp and safaris were very good, it was not really what I would consider camping (accommodation or the food). It was a shock how good the food was prepared and presented given the fact you are in the “bush”. The packed lunches were specially made to accommodate dietary restrictions (we are super particular) and they were specially made and every request was granted with a smile on their face.

The ultimate experience of nature and a culture
5/5

How does one share such an experience? Having a guide who not only knows where to find the exotic animals in their natural habitat, but can mimic their calls to bring them right up to you. Every single day we experienced sights and sounds we thought possible only through Discovery Channel. Each evening we went to bed thinking, "It can't get any better than this." But it always did. The immersion in nature, surrounded by knowledgeable guides who can talk in depth about each species, but can also teach about the people and their culture... Simply amazing!

On the flip side, almost embarrassingly, we were treated like royalty from the moment we were met at the airport until the time our bags were checked for our departure. Each location's accommodations and food were comfortable for the even the most discerning Western traveler.

We were so positively overwhelmed with the experience we sent our adult children and their mates on the same safari with this company the next year. Their reaction was exactly the same.
