Unforgettable Safari Experience with Warm Hospitality
I had an amazing time on this safari tour! I was able to see four of the "Big Five" — lion, leopard, African elephant, and rhinoceros — as well as enjoy a visit to a Maasai Mara village. Louis was very friendly, flexible, and supportive, and on the day of the tour she warmly sent me off. I joined the tour alone as a woman, but I quickly made friends with other travelers and loved sharing these memories together. Overall, the tour was very fulfilling, and I would definitely recommend it to others!

Incredible
We did our safari with Loyce and George in August 2025. They were so friendly, funny and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to find all the good spots meaning we got to see all the animals we could have dreamed of. The safari car was very clean and comfortable I highly recommend.

Fantastic guides for a wonderful adventure.
Our 3 day safari with Loyce, George, Charles & Ben was an amazing experience. An African safari has been a childhood dream of mine, & it was finally realised after four weeks of nursing volunteer work. Everything was taken care of by the team, & no request was denied. The cars were comfortable, & there was plenty of cold water. Thank you team, for a wonderful first safari experience. I will be back!

Fantastic Experience!
After a terrible experience with another agency, we contacted Loice of Pounds East Africa Safaris. Despite it being a last-minute request, Loice offered us a very interesting program at a great price. We went on an 11-day safari with her and Charles, our driver and guide, through Kenya's best parks.
The lodges and tented camps were all very good, with excellent food and always hot water. The jeep was comfortable, and Charles always drove carefully and was very attentive to spotting animals even from afar. This allowed us to see lions, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, and various birds. At the Masai Mara, we were surrounded by thousands of migrating wildebeests and zebras. A fantastic experience.
Loice accompanied us the entire trip and was always attentive to our needs. She always checked the rooms assigned to us, asking if we liked them. Since my wife has a serious leg problem, at the Masai Mara she had us change our accommodation, which was too far from the restaurant, for one much closer.
Everything went perfectly, and we were more than satisfied.
I absolutely recommend Loice and her agency, Pound's East Africa Safaris.

Excellent experience!
After a very bad experience with another agency, I asked Loice of Pounds East Africa Safaris making me a program for a 10/11 days around the most important Kenya's parks.
Even though I contacted her last minute, she organized for me and my husband a very interesting trip with a very good price.
With Loice and Charles, the driver and guide, we had a wonderful time. All accomodations were very comfortable, with good food and hot water,
The car was comfortable too and Charles drove so carefully. Loice did all the trip with us and she was always attentive to our needs. Because I have problems with a leg, she helped us to change a very distant room from the restaurant to a closer roomin Masai Mara. We always felt safe with her.
Thanks to Charles we saw a lot of lions, my favorite animals, as well as elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, birds and much more.
I highly recommend Pounds to travel with.

Best guide for group &/or solo travel
Back in 2017 & 2018 on a student trip, Loyce planned a wonderful itinerary covering Maasai Mara, Naivasha, Amboseli and Nakuru. Having such a good experience with Loyce back then, I decided to engage Loyce’s services again when I was traveling solo to Kenya for work. Loyce made the entire journey feel very safe for me as a solo traveling woman, and had the flexibility to cater the itinerary according to my needs. I highly recommend Loyce and her team for anyone that wants to have an exciting, insightful & safe trip to East Africa.

Moses is the best guide ever! Our trip was extremely fascinating as we saw all the big fives, it's gorgeous to experience the sunrise in the savannah!
Accommodation was also perfect, in the middle of Masai Mara!

I personally traveled solo and enjoyed every bits.

Our Amazing 5-Day Safari with a Toddler!
We just got back from the most incredible 5-day safari — and I’m so happy we went for it! This wasn’t our first safari, but it was our first time joining a group tour and our first with a toddler (we’d always done private safaris before, without kids). I have to say, it exceeded all our expectations!
Loyce was an absolute lifesaver. She organized this last-minute trip for us with our 2.5-year-old, was super responsive, and even offered to personally pick us up and have lunch together to make sure we wouldn’t miss our flight to the coast — such amazing service!
We booked a budget group tour, and honestly, I wasn’t sure how it would feel compared to private safaris — but the driver and the group were so friendly and welcoming, they made the whole experience even more fun. The accommodations were way better than we expected, and the local food was so delicious.
The Masai Mara was pure magic. We saw all the Big Five — lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and even a rhino (though the rhino was a bit far away in Nakuru, but still counted!).
If you’re thinking about a safari with young kids, I highly recommend Pounds East Africa Safaris — they made everything smooth and fun, even with a toddler. My only tip for families: maybe focus just on the Masai Mara, because adding other parks like Nakuru and Naivasha means long, bumpy drives that can be a bit much for little ones.

Outstanding service and knowledge
I went on a short group safari to the Mara with Loyce and George of Pounds.
Georges’ knowledge of the animals, and particularly birds- is outstanding.
Loyce is the ultimate hostess, checking all needs are taken care of.
The accommodation is very comfortable, and the food is superb.
I highly recommend Pounds to travel with, and look forward to joining them again.
My short safari was to be followed by another, read further.
Loyce went out of her way to arrange another safari for me at the last minute, I am so grateful for her expertise.
I had booked a separate, 6 day safari with a different company I trusted (that I have travelled with numerous times) which had suddenly gained a very bad reputation for non-delivery of services already paid for by clients, with clients becoming basically stranded. (I will review that company separately)
Loyce spent some time booking a similar itinerary, and had me on the way next day, with George driving.
Two parks, two nights each, Samburu and Ol Pajeta, and the last day in Nairobi National Park, which always surprises me with it's abundance and variety of animals and birds, and size.
Samburu was awesome, as was Ol Pajeta, with a visit to Najin and Fatu, the last two (female) Northern White Rhinos on Earth, and my reason for revisiting Ol Pajeta, very precious creatures.
I am so grateful to Loyce and George for making my trip so memorable and being so adaptable at short notice.

Loyce was fun, engaging, caring and looked after every aspect and ensured a great safari.
Such an amazing Safari experience. It was my second time going on Safari with pounds east Africa and again it was more than I could have asked for.
Communication with Loyce was timely.
All aspects from hotel pickup and transfer to the Masai accomodation to ensuring allergy safe food were thought of.
The 4x4 safari cars were very spacious and comfy.
The guides listened to the radios and made sure to get us up as close as possible to many animals including elephants and lions.
All meals were delicious and all allergies were catered for well.
This safari is definitely great value for money and I highly reccomend.
I will definitely be booking through Loyce in the future.
