what more could you want?
5/5

In Tanzania the entrance fee of the national park is high. The tour fee itself of 200 dollars per day, when compared to various people, I think it is average. Mr. Driver and Mr. Guides had a lot of knowledge and Mr. Cook made a very delicious dish. They did a good job as an expert. As Masai, Mr. Praygod is proud of the Masai people's land and has passion for work. Moreover, he is sincere.

Ilmaasaai overdelivered
5/5

We are a Costa Rica couple currently living in London, and chose a 6-day Safari Tanzania for our honeymoon. Our Safari experience was memorable, not least because Ilmaasai gave us a great service.

About Loth (the manager):
- Email communication was quick and easy.
- The safari itinerary and pick-ups were executed as planned.
- Loth arranged a combination of room and camping accommodation within our budget where other Safari operators did not. You'll appreciate a bed!
- After our safari ended, we separately booked a flight. Loth helped us with a problem we had with that flight.
- We dealt with other operators during our stay in Tanzania. Some have a harassing attitude and try to change things you have already agreed. But there are also great operators. With Loth you'll be in safe hands.

About Brayson (the guide):
- He's passionate and knowledgeable about wildlife. He's also an educated person from which you can learn about Tanzania's culture and history. He's attentive, friendly, and helpful.
- He communicated with other safari operators to spot animals. These networks are a big bonus from choosing a reputable safari company!
- We were the first ones to leave the camp on several days. Bryson was always ready on time.
- Conversely, in some days the game drives extended until sunset.
- He's a careful driver. Some drivers forget they are inside a national park.
- He thoroughly respects the rules of a fragile ecosystem. Some drivers would go off the road within the national parks even though it goes against the national parks rules.
- The registration process in the national parks was always smooth. We had 0 worries.

About Fillipo (the cook):
- He served us lots of food! And food was tasty. As Brayson, he's attentive, friendly, and helpful.
- After we asked him what ugali was, he prepared some for us.
- Filippo was also in charge of collecting the camping stuff whenever we moved to the next national park. When we returned to the national park, everything was ready.
- He respects the rules of a fragile ecosystem. Our food was packed in reusable plastic containers, while we witnessed how many operators bin an unnecessary amount of waste.

We thank you for all the efforts you made for doing our experience memorable!

ILmaasai Expeditions where very friendly before the safari during booking and did all what we have requiered before. They took really very good care of us. We chose 6days safari with Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro conversation area. We have stayed in tents and on tented lodges. It was a great experience to stay in the nature and sleeping next to the animals. All was in good shape. The driver Brianson spotted plenty of animals and he knew great spots. Also our chef Osman cook delicious food even for my vegetarian wife. He took really good care of us. All the time they were friendly helpful and funny.
We really enjoyed the safari and would reommend it to anyone else. Thanks again Ilmaasai Expeditions, Brianson and Osman

Ilmaasai Expeditions was great, reliable and reasonable priced - we had an awesome experience!
5/5

Ilmaasai Expeditions took care of our request and answered all our questions. We chose 6 days/5 nights safari including Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro conservation area. We were camping and it was a great experience to stay in the nature. The tents and tented lodges were of good shape and we were provided with sleeping bags and matrazes. Our driver Brianson did great too and showed us all animals! We were free to announce our wishes like sunset // sunrise game drive . Also our cook Osman was super - the food was delicious and he even cooked vegetarian food for me. They were all the time very helpful, friendly, funny and supporting.
We really enjoyed the safari and would recommend it to anyone else. Thank you again to Ilmaasai Expeditions, Brianson and Osman!!!

Authentic African
5/5

The safari tour was excellent. The guide / driver was very knowledgable and also very respectful to the animals and the environment as well as to us. Accomodation was well prepared. Overall communication was excellent and any issues thatarose e.g. paperwork around entry /exit to parks was Tanzania rather than the company. I would thoroughly recommend this company and Bryson to people who care about the environment and the nimal kingdom. The visit to Maasai village was an added bonus for us.

Great experience
5/5

I definitely recommend ilmaasai as a tour operator. Great service before and on the trip: Highly responsive, always willing to help us to make the best arrangements according to our needs and wishes. We changed our plan several times and Loth always stayed friendly and helpful. The car was not the newest, but ok and reliable. Our driver Brycon and Oman as our cook ("stomach engineer") did a great job: Brycon has a lot of interesting stories to tell about animals and nature, and was very successful in spotting animals. Oman made great food for us at night. We stay at Camp Lilac, which was a very good choice.

Saw it all in one visit!
5/5

This was perhaps the best holiday my wife and I have been on. It was made extra special by the crew that hosted us. They were not distant, they encouraged us to ask questions as they parted their great knowledge on to us. Not knowing what to expect or see, we saw all the big five during our time on safari.
At no stage did we fell in danger or unwelcomed. The communication between us and the guides was great and clear to understand. This trip and company I would recommend to anyone.

Excellent 4-day Safari!
5/5

My parents and I went on a great four-day camping safari with Ilmaasai. We organized the safari in advance with Loth via email, and we found him to respond very quickly and thoroughly to our questions and also to be very flexible, allowing us to add an extra day at the last minute. We spent one day in Tarangire, two days in the Serengeti, and one day in the Ngorongoro crater. Our guide was Godson, who did a wonderful job. In addition to being very knowledgeable, Godson was a great spotter, and knew how the animals would move. For example, one day we saw some lion cubs being moved by some adult females to rejoin the pride, and well before the lions reached the road, Godson knew exactly the right spot to park the Landrover so that the lions would cross the road right next to us. During the safari, we saw a lot of wildlife: many lions, elephants, giraffes and many more, as well as a couple of cheetahs and a leopard. In addition, Filipo kept us well fed, and we were picked up and dropped off at the airport, this kept logistical issues as simple as possible. If we ever have the opportunity to go on a safari in Tanzania again, we will be sure to go with Ilmaasai.
