Unforgettable Vacation
What more can I say but thank you, thank you, thank you.......we had the most memorable trip to South Africa with our friends from Texas. This trip would not have been possible had it not been for Heidi Bedford who worked tirelessly at putting together an incredible itinerary for us. Heidi was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns and was contactable at the drop of a hat during our visit to South Africa, always having our best interest at heart. The welcome bags and comprehensive itineraries were phenomenal with loads of additional information on the areas and sites we would be visiting or attractions we would be seeing, these made for good keep sakes. Our friends from Houston Texas were in awe of all the beauty this country has and absolutely loved being on Safari. From the beauty of Cape Town to the untouched nature of the wild and seeing the big 5 and so much more, was wonderful. We were spoilt with all the awesome sightings of theses incredible animals in their natural habitat. The whole trip was planned to perfection with just the right amount of everything. All the tour guides did a fantastic job and everyone was impressed with their knowledge and friendliness and their efforts to go above and beyond to make our experience a lasting one.

A fantastic and unforgettable experience!!
It was our first time in South Africa. From the first contact with Pembury Tours, where our agent was Heidi, everything was very clear and efficient. All meetings with guides and tranfers took place punctually on time and they were all very friendly and taught us a lot about the history and culture of South Africa. The quality of the vehicles were excellent and the guides drove us in a very safe way. We stayed in four different accommodations and all were of an incredible care with cleanliness and friendliness. During safaris, we had a chance to see up close all the animals we would have liked to see (the big 5) and more. In summary, a perfect experience. Thanks to everyone involved in this incredible experience.

Kerry at Pembury Tours is the best!
From the very start dealing with Kerry at Pembury tours have been a pleasant experience. My wife & I had desired to take a 3-week vacation/safari in Africa which is a substantial endeavor. We spoke with several travel companies but ultimately we felt most comfortable dealing with Kerry at Pembury . She listened to our needs and preferences (some which were unique) and put together an itinerary that matched our desires. All of the accommodations exceeded our expectations and in addition, the travel arrangements went without a flaw. We never had problems with transfers or flights. On the days we had tours there was always someone pleasant waiting for us. Our African vacation was an A+ in the combination of Kerrys skills and the beautiful countries we visited made for one of the best vacations we ever had.

Excellent Safari
Gail at Pembury Tours was great to deal with. She was very helpful and quick with communication. The safari exceeded our expectations. We stayed two nights at Simbavati River Lodge and two nights at Arathusa in Sabi Sands. After two nights we were thinking maybe that would have been enough. For us, the second two nights was a totally different experience and we're so glad we booked four nights. The food accommodation etc was all excellent. We saw the big five as well as lions eating a zebra and a leopard eating an impala.

She was responsive to our requests and flexible as we decided on dates and location for our safaris
We felt the communication with our 4 travelers was very good. We asked her for advise about what to do during the 1 afternoon we had in Johannesburg and she arranged a convenient hotel and tour for us. It was extremely helpful to have someone meet us at the airport and help us with finding an ATM to obtain money. All our drivers were informative and answered our many questions. The drivers were prompt and also patient as we completed our check -in /check-out process.
The tour operator arranged for 2 different Safari Lodges, one in Sabi Sands and the other in a concession area within Kruger National Park. Even though they were only about 2 hours apart, we had different experiences and saw some different animals on each safari. Both lodges were very welcoming and had excellent rangers and guides.

Excellent arrangements by Kerry of Pembury Tours
Kerry was an excellent professional to work with over the internet. All the arrangements made were excellent. The staff at Shinde camp were very friendly and attended to our every need. The ability to get the laundry done at the camp was most helpful. Simon was our guide and extra-ordinary. A night drive with him was our first such experience and we were lucky to be able to see wildebeests, a hippo grazing, a hyena and a baby jackal. At Chobe Marine Lodge, breakfast was very good but lunch and dinner were of poor quality. The game drives and boat drives on the chobe river were amazing. Pretty was our guide and after hearing that another guide had spotted a leopard, raced our Landcruiser to that spot and we enjoyed seeing a fully grown leopard on a tree limb. Wow!! The David Livingston Lodge was excellent and Victoria Falls tour was memorable.

I had reached out to a number of African tour operators advising them of this being my family's first experience to Africa - wanting educational highlights and safari. I'm a detail person so when Heidi Bedford responded to my request with questions for me and not a pre-set itinerary as other operators did, I knew Heidi would provide me with a wonderful experience. And she did! Heidi promptly and happily responded to all my emails:) She put together a well-paced itinerary, including hotels and safari lodges, that were perfect for us! Upon arrival, every member in my family received a lovely cross bag with the detailed itinerary with extra pages of useful information on side trips and animals and maps. The two safaris we experienced were different and more than I had hoped for! I had a most exhilarating African experience and at the same time, the most relaxing because Heidi and Pembury Tours had taken care of every detail. Thank you, Heidi:)

A wonderful trip to South Africa thanks to Pembury Tours
Tammy at Pembury Tours did a wonderful job of arranging our 7 days of safari and making all the travel arrangements for our three weeks in South Africa. She helped us plan our trip and then booked excellent accommodations and transportation for Kruger and Thornybush game reserves, Cape Town and the Garden Route. Communications were prompt and very informative. We were met in Johannesburg with a terrific information package with every detail covered, which also makes a great souvenir of our trip. As a result our trip went perfectly with no hitches and was an outstanding experience. We highly recommend Pembury Tours.
