The Perfect Honeymoon!
First off, Laurette provided us with exception service and catered a set tour to our liking, adding a few days and helping us secure more private hotels as this was our honeymoon.
From the moment we landed in Zambia to the minute we left Cape Town, everything was perfect. Transfers were on time, hotels and locations exceeded our expectations, and the activities that were booked were incredible. We met many couples and didn't hear from them of one other thing we would have rather done than what was already booked with Laurette.
I started communicating with Laurette about a year and a half before the trip and she ensured that she stayed in communication, provided us documentation timely, and let us know promptly if she needed anything from us. This trip would not have gone as smoothly without her expertise.
I will be recommending all of my friends and family travel to South Africa and use Pembury for their bookings.

An absolute amazing African experience.
Everything was impeccable. The communication with Gail (our rep), was there for everything we needed before, during and after. They definitely lived up to the expectations I had and went beyond. The Safari tours themselves were great and my favorite was Sabi Sabi Bush Camp. I would highly recommend Pembury Tours and will definitely use them again in the future if I can get back to Africa.

I cannot say more about the professionalism, the responsiveness, and the vacation planning abilities of Anya! Our family of 8 reached out to her to plan our trip to Cape Town and with VERY little direction from us beyond our desire to see as much as possible in 8 days, Anya anticipated our needs and executed a perfect itinerary that made everyone from the youngest (5) to the oldest (40 something!)
I would recommend Pembury to anyone looking for a full-service travel planning agency that provides for all the big (and little) things one may need on vacation. We literally worried about nothing and just enjoyed the ride!

Trip of a lifetime for our entire family!
I am so very grateful that we were put in touch with Anya to help plan and execute our trip to South Africa. Every step of the holiday from the early discussions on what we wanted to do/see to transfers from airports was handled to the finest detail. Our lodgings were perfectly situated and suited for our needs and family. We really could not have asked for anything more. Heidi at Pembury tours is the best travel agent I have come across in many years of travelling around the world with many tour companies . She replies to emails promptly, answers questions in details and was readily available when needed for minor hiccups while we were on tour.

The Best of the Best- (Value-Service-Experience)!
Susan- Pattison- Wait from Pembury Tours arranged our private safari. We are experienced travels who do a lot of homework before our trips. We contacted Pembury Tours and Susan responded in less than 24 hours. We knew where we wanted to go but needed advice about where to stay. All communication with Susan was efficient and helpful. Our safari included South Africa ( Sabi-Sabi), Botswana (delta) and Livingston (Victoria Falls). The safari exceeded our expectations which are always very high. At each and every place we stayed the service, food, lodging and game drives were outstanding. We have friends who have already booked with Susan for an almost identical safari this July.

Excellent all-around
Susan at Pembury Tours was very responsive to our interests and arranged an amazing first trip to southern Africa including safaris in Botswana and a visit to Victoria Falls. She was flexible, attentive, and did not inundate us with options but instead gave a couple choices for each location that suited our criteria. Of the ones we picked, all the accommodations were fantastic. The transportation and all other logistical arrangements were also perfect, which was even more challenging given that my mother had an accident while in a remote location and had a be treated at a hospital. When this occurred, Susan was immediately available and made all the arrangements for a smooth and timely transport so that my mother could have good medical care. Her services and local knowledge were indispensable to us as first time visitors to Africa, and even allowed us to catch up with the others in our party to finish up our vacation together. I would definitely recommend Susan and Pembury Tours and would use them again not just for their excellent product but also for the peace-of-mind they provide.

Fantastic trip!!
Our family booked a tour of South Africa with Pembury Tours. We worked with Heidi who was absolutely fantastic to work with! We planned the trip over several months and Heidi suggested an itinerary for us that was perfect! She adjusted it along the way depending on our preferences. She clearly knows the area and accommodations. There was never a time when I emailed her with a question that she didn't get back to me right away. She couldn't have been more helpful!
We started in Cape Town at the Lawhill Apartments which was a great place to see Cape Town from. It was within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in the Marina. Heidi arranged all of our tours, transfers and intra-Africa air. Her suggestions for tours in Cape Town were perfect. We really enjoyed the day of wine tasting and the peninsula tour. Both are not to be missed. Everything was absolutely seamless.....top notch transfers, tours and air.
We stayed at 2 different safari lodges while in Sabi Sands. Kapama Karula was a stunning place....absolutely beautiful and the service was 5 star. We transferred to Sambambili Game lodge which was a small step below Kapama Karula in it's luxury but still a terrific place to stay.
All in all it was a terrific experience for us. We live in the US and it can be a little daunting to make decisions for a big trip like this through an agency that you aren't familiar with. I had read all the reviews for Pembury and felt pretty confident it would all be ok and it was. They did a fantastic job! Thank you, Heidi!!!
