Spectacular Safari with the great Galloping Safaris
Last April we went on a safari to the northern parks in Tanzania, we visited Serengeti , Ngorongoro and Tarangire. Our safari experience was elevated to extraordinary levels by the impeccable planning and execution by Gallopıng Safaris. From the seamless logistics to the top-notch accommodations, every detail was thoughtfully arranged to ensure a memorable adventure.
A special commendation goes to our guide, Anderson. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and enthusiastic, bringing the safari to life with fascinating insights into the wildlife and ecosystems. Anderson had an uncanny ability to spot animals from great distances and ensured we had the best vantage points for viewing wildlife. His passion and respect for the environment and commitment to conservation is truly inspiring.

Helpful and very accommodating to ensure all requirements were met.
Walter at Galloping Safaris was really quick to respond to all our emails and questions and nothing was too much trouble. We had an eight day (7 night) safari which enabled us to visit all the major national parks and included a walking safari and a night game drive. The accommodation was all superb and all meals and packed lunches were included and were of a very good quality. Walter provided a full itinerary and was happy to make any amendments and changes to suit our budget and requirements. We travelled in a land cruiser (with the opening roof) which was brilliant for all terrains. We saw the big 5, the Great Migration and so much more due to Macho, our superb tour guide/driver, who went out of his way to ensure that he understood what we wanted to do and see and we got much closer to the animals than we had expected. Macho was professional yet fun, very caring, friendly and excellent at spotting the animals and birds as well as explaining about the culture. He was very knowledgable and a great tour guide.

Do not trust Walter, the owner of Galloping Safaris
My family and I went on a safari of a lifetime in Aug 2022. The first part of the safari was all good, apart from some last minute accommodation changes. When we got to Breezes in Zanzibar, everything was fine until we came to check out. The manager told us that we had to pay for our accommodation. We explained that we had paid Walter from Galloping Safaris. Breezes told us that they had received no payment. After many calls trying to get hold of Walter he finally told us that he had not paid and made up what the first in a series of lies. We were forced to pay £20,000 ($23,000) to be able to leave the property.
Our holiday was destroyed by this. Walter is not a honest person, he is a liar and a terrible business man. I would not trust any of my money with him. You are better booking with someone else.
Walter is know to the Tanzania Tourism Board and the Tour Operators Association and the Tourism Police in Arusha. He has lied to us constantly about paying the money back (he has paid back some) but are still owed over $14,000. He continually makes up stories and lies to us about saying he will settle and then never does.
If you want a stress free Tanzania safari - I recommend do not use this ccompany

Conned out of £20,000
I was part of a family group that went on holiday to Tanzania, organised by Walter Tenga from Galloping Safaris. When were leaving our final location, Breezes Lodge in Zanzibar, we were told that the bill had not been paid. Walter had taken full payment for all the accommodation dn activities and had failed to pay Breezes. We had to organise £20,000 before Breezes would let us leave for the airport. You cannot image the stress of having to find £20,000!!
DO NOT BOOK WITH GALLOPING SAFARIS. We have been told that he has done this before to other clients and we know that the police have brought him in various times for questioning. We still do not have all out money back from Walter always says he will pay and doesn't. That makes him a liar.
