My friends and I have just returned from an incredible 8-day safari with Bison Safaris, and we are still mesmerized by the experience. From the initial planning to the final drop-off, every detail was impeccably handled, making our trip seamless and truly unforgettable.
The exceptional service began with Maggie, who was our main point of contact during the planning stage. She was incredibly patient, responsive, and attentive to our requests. Maggie expertly crafted an itinerary that took us to Amboseli, Naivasha, and the magnificent Maasai Mara, and she secured excellent accommodations that perfectly suited our preferences. Her professionalism and warmth gave us great confidence even before our journey began .
Our adventure was brilliantly brought to life by our guide and driver, Jackson. His professionalism was outstanding. Jackson possesses an incredible depth of knowledge about Kenya's wildlife and ecosystems. Thanks to his expert tracking skills and sharp eyes, we were fortunate to witness not only the famous Big Five but also the fascinating "Ugly Five," which added a unique and humorous dimension to our game drives. Jackson was more than just a guide; he was a fantastic storyteller, sharing insights into animal behavior and local culture, making every drive both educational and exciting. We always felt safe and in capable hands with him at the wheel .
The highlights were countless: watching elephants with the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, taking a boat ride on Lake Naivasha amidst hippos, and witnessing the breathtaking vastness of the Maasai Mara. Compared to local tour groups of China Travel Service, this one is far from overpriced—it’s totally great value! At only $1,000 per person, it includes stays in top-notch hotels. All three daily meals are varied and absolutely delicious, perfect for my Chinese palate. Our guide Mike has one of the best service attitudes I’ve ever seen; he’s amazing at providing emotional support, kept us entertained throughout the trip by chatting and helping us whenever needed. We also spotted plenty of animals—thanks to Mike, we got to witness a cheetah hunt, which was spectacular and breathtaking. I highly recommend Mike, we all absolutely adored him and will miss him dearly when we head home!

Maggie has the magic and Mike turns it into reality
Before coming here, I chose 3 to 5 tour operators, and finally got in touch with them via WeChat. I chose BiosonSafaris because of the price. However, other tour operators told me that the price was too low, so I also asked her why the price was so low. She told me Because her off-road car is her own and not rented, I have a price advantage, and based on her honesty and price advantage, I chose biosonsafaris.
Due to time constraints, I chose the order of Amboseli, Naivasha, Masai Mara, and the hotels I stayed at were OLtukai, Naiwasha, Sopa, and Masai Mara camp. In my opinion, they are all great places. My favorite is Oltukai because I can see elephants and Mount Kilimanjaro in the morning. Maasai Mara is a heart-stirring experience.
Lastly, I would like to thank our guide, Mike, who has more animal knowledge than AI and a kind and simple heart. We got along very well during these six days. Leopards are very difficult to find, but thanks to teamwork and professional knowledge, he was able to find the best location as quickly as possible. On the last day, under the sunset. He opened a bottle of wine for us, a perfect ending.

We had an amazing and unforgettable safari experience with Bison Safaris.
We had an amazing time on our 8 day wildlife adventure with Bison Safaris. We visited three national reserves - Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara - and took a scenic trip to Lake Naivasha and Crescent Island to walk with giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and more.
The highlights of the trip were the game drives around the national reserves where we experienced Kenyan wildlife at its finest, including the Big 5. Our guide Antony, who took care of us during our whole trip, was extremely helpful, kind, and really knew his way around to show us the best the reserves had to offer. Thanks to Antony we were able to see amazing sightings on every game drive and had some really unforgettable moments especially in Maasai Mara.
We had a truly wonderful trip, and were also very happy with all accommodations and meals (especially the bush lunch experience!) and communication with Maggie and Lawrence. We would definitely recommend Bison Safaris for an unforgettable safari experience.
