You can see the Masai Mara in a pop-up van, or you can jump into a rugged safari vehicle with a total pro at the wheel - Haron Gashao, owner of African Sunset Safaris - and experience one of the planet's gems in its full magnificence. Haron took us deep into the Mara into the thick of the legendary wildebeest migration from the Serengeti... and no other vehicle was anywhere in sight! We passed at least 50,000 wildebeests and thousands of other animals (impala, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, cheetah) in this unforgettable journey across an epic, immense grassland... then Haron found a lioness in wait in the tall grass and we spent a half hour up close observing her - again, with no other vehicle intruding. And those were just some of the highlights of the three exceptional days he delivered. His knowledge of the landscape and the wildlife, his instinct for finding the Mara's great animals in amazing places, and his friendly, dedicated customer-focused approach (he booked us into an excellent lodge), put African Sunset at the top of the pack in my book. This was a tremendous value and an experience simply unmatched. One of the top experiences of my travels around the world. So looking forward to seeing other parts of Kenya with Haron!

I just wanted to tell you how much my husband and I enjoyed our trip! It was perfect! I am recommending your company to all my friends and family. After viewing our photos, they all say they want to be your clients too! Everything was well organized, and all the documentation you sent was complete, and easy to read. We got to do so much during our week of vacation. All the transportation that was provided was always right on time. The hotels were nice and very clean. The guides were friendly and willing to share stories and lots of interesting information! We received great service everywhere we went. I felt we were on a first class, five star trip, but at a much more affordable price! Thank you for the services you provided in planning this trip of a lifetime. We couldn't be more pleased! Time of my life!!
Everything was very professional and the lodging was amazing. The car we used was great. But the best thing was our guide Haron. Very knowledgable and very understanding of our needs. After 4 days if seeing everything we wanted to see even more big cats. And Haron was able to find them. We were lucky enough to see all of them: lion, cheetah and leopard! And the timing was perfect so we got to see the great migration to Masai Mara and the river crossing. Have been lucky enough to travel on all continents of the world, but Kenya is one of the few places I definetly will travel back to. And I will without no doubt book with ASS and ask for Haron as my guide. Cant imagine that there is a guide who better understand the clients needs.

It was awesome , had alot of fun
The drivers and the whole team are so professional, time conscious, our safety was well taken care off as we visited the riftvalley where we went to lake naivasha, Lake Nakuru , lake borgoria and we really had a great time and for our tours we can always count on them.

Geoffrey Giraffe is the BEST!
A group of 6 of us went to Masai Mara in Kenya as well as Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, & Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Haron worked with us to coordinate the entire trip (including PCR testing) & was always quick to respond to our questions. Everything went smoothly as far as getting picked up on time & border crossings. I was especially surprised & pleased with the level of food & accommodations for our mid-range safari. I think we got a great value for our money. In Tanzania, our guide was Geoffrey who we began calling Geoffrey Giraffe (ever shop at Toys R Us?). Geoffrey is not only a great guide but also a great guy! He is a jovial character who made sure we saw as much as possible during our time with him. I highly recommend African Sunset Safaris!
