Amazing four days safari
We took the services of Heri Africa Tours for a 4 day Safari and all I could say is that Immaculate and her crew were excellent in all aspects. The communication and organization were very efficient. Three weeks prior to our trip, everything has been sorted out and we’ve been in touch for questions which were greatly handled. Immaculate went beyond her job to provide us info on visas, vaccination, transport, accommodation, etc. We couldn’t ask for more. I personally enjoyed how the whole trip was made special by John the chef, Mike the driver/guide, and Immaculate our main contact.
The trip was affordable and way lower as compared to other tour operators we asked quote from. We expected a low quality service with the price we bargained for but we were surprised that everything has been up to standard. I highly recommend Heri Africa Tours if you want affordable yet quality tours to Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Moshu and Arusha. Thanks for organizing such an amazing trip for us.

good price-performance ratio
We really enjoyed the safari. The arrangement was easy and quick, friendly mail response. Just make sure, to pay the cash money in dollar to avoid trouble with the exchange rate. The tour guide Mike was great! He has big knowledge about the animals and landscape. You can really feel that he loves his job. The chef John also did a great job! He prepared delicious fish for dinner for us. It was just too bad that we stopped at a big souvenir shop on the way back. Would not have been necessary. The start of the safari was a little slow: getting lunch, water, gas etc. But maybe that is African style... All in all we were very happy that we booked this tour. Way cheaper than many other safari companies.

I would like to put this clear to all travelers that the local exchange rate in Tanzania is quietly different from what is shown in online and also US dollars Currency printed below 2006 is not accepted with most of our bank here in Tanzania and if accepted it has very low rate exchange, to avoid some inconvenience I advice to come with US dollars cash printed from 2009 and above. Good budget safari with Heri
Mike was an excellent guide with extensive knowledge. He was open to our wishes and went out of his way to assure we had a memorable safari.
Immaculate, the manager, responded very quick and was always helpful. She showed good flexibility to our needs and made a very good offer compared to other companies.
The quality of the food was varying, but it seemed like every other budget safari got the same food.
We would definitely book again with Heri Africa Tours.

Amazing experience with great guides
Wow, what an experience. From the first initial contact with Immaculate to the final farewell at the airport we couldn't have asked for better service. Heri tours were able to tailor the tour to our needs including picking us up from the airport and a few extra nights accommodation either side of the safari. We met our guide Mike and immediately felt at ease. What he didn't know about animals isn't worth knowing! He was able to give us facts about the different animals and knew where would have the best chance of spotting them! Our chef, John, was amazing too. He was able to knock up all sorts of meals from the basic of ingredients using only camp stoves! I couldn't recommend this company highly enough! Fantastic experience with great memories!

We're just back from 2 weeks in Kenya, Tanzania & Zanzibar and Immaculate welcomed us in Tanzania for an amazing 2 days safari in Manyara Lake and N'Gorongoro crater! Her and her team truly care about us by asking what we wanted to see the most in order to brief the driver. Driver was excellent, no need to ask for anything since he was anticipating everything - stop to take picture, break to go to accommodation,...The chef as well prepared the meals carefully. We strongly recommend anybody who want to go to Tanzania to go with them!
