Ann will exceed every expectation, never doubt that.
I just returned home from an unforgettable vacation in Kenya, and I can confidently say that this trip exceeded anything I could have imagined, and so much of that is thanks to the incredible crew at Blue Mountain Trekking and Safaris.
This was not only my friends’ and my first time visiting Kenya and Africa, but it was also my first time traveling outside of the United States. Naturally, there were a lot of unknowns going into a trip this far from home, but from the very beginning, Ann made the entire process feel easy and personal. Communicating with her never felt like dealing with a company or simply arranging a tour, it felt like having a real conversation with someone who genuinely cared about making our trip everything we hoped it would be. She was incredibly responsive, patient with our questions, and willing to work with us to create an experience that fit what we wanted to do and what we could afford.
The value Blue Mountain provides is honestly remarkable. For everything that was included, the quality of our experience, and the level of personal attention we received throughout the trip, the price was incredibly affordable. At no point did affordability feel like it came at the expense of quality. If anything, we were continuously surprised by just how much care, time, and effort the team put into making our experience exceptional.
Ann, Brian, and Daniel are people we will never forget. Saying that they went “above and beyond” almost feels inadequate. There is a genuine kindness and reliability to this team that made us feel completely taken care of from beginning to end. Whether we had a question, needed something, or simply wanted advice, I genuinely felt like these were people we could rely on for anything. That sense of trust means even more when you are thousands of miles from home in a country you have never visited before.
Our five-day safari was absolutely incredible. We were fortunate enough to see the entire Big Five, as well as the Ugly Five, which was something we could only have hoped for before the trip. But what made the safari so memorable was more than simply checking animals off a list. The entire experience, the landscapes, wildlife, excitement, and knowledge shared with us along the way, was better than we could have imagined. Every day brought something new, and the team’s enthusiasm made those moments even more special.
After our safari, we set out on a four-day trek of Mount Kenya, which became one of the most rewarding experiences of the entire trip. This was my first experience trekking at high elevation, so I had no idea how my body would respond or exactly what to expect. Brian was incredible throughout the entire climb. He never made me feel rushed or as though I needed to keep someone else’s pace. He constantly made sure I was comfortable, encouraged me to take my time, and gave me the confidence to keep going while still making my safety the priority. Having someone that knowledgeable, patient, and reassuring beside me made all the difference. What could have been an intimidating first experience at elevation instead became something I am incredibly proud of and will remember forever.
What stands out most about Blue Mountain Trekking and Safaris is that by the end of the trip, Ann, Brian, and Daniel did not simply feel like people we had hired to organize and guide our vacation. They felt like people we genuinely trusted and were lucky to have met. There is something special about traveling somewhere completely unfamiliar and finding people who make you feel so comfortable, safe, and welcome.
We went to Kenya hoping for an adventure, and we came home with an experience far greater than anything we had pictured beforehand. We had barely returned to the United States before we started talking about how soon we could go back. That, more than anything, speaks to the experience Blue Mountain gave us.
If you are considering traveling to Kenya, whether for a safari, a trek through Mount Kenya, or both, I cannot recommend Blue Mountain Trekking and Safaris highly enough. Especially if this is your first time traveling to Kenya or Africa, you could not ask for a more trustworthy, accommodating, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring group of people to experience it with.
Thank you, Ann, Brian, Daniel, and everyone at Blue Mountain, for giving us a trip we will be talking about for the rest of our lives. This may have been our first time in Kenya, but because of you, it certainly will not be our last.

Blue Mountain Safari truly took care of our group the entire duration of our stay. There wasn’t one moment we felt uneasy.

Great trekking & safari tour package with individual service
We made a 2 week safari & trekking to Mount Kenya as a German/Austrian group of 9 persons. All worked very well. We all reached the top. Ann was always very reactive and supportive to our taylormade tour programm. 100% recommendation! Nothing to complain! So many thanks for this fantastic time.

Everything was perfect.

Fantastic trip 1st class tour
My second time with blue mountain Trekking, Ann again was fantastic. Hotels and masai mara tents all 1st class. Our guide on safari. masai mara, Nakura, and lake Navisha was with us in a group safari for 5 days. Joseph our guide and was fantastic. We saw leopard with its kill up a tree, cheetah, lions with a kill they had done earlier, 3 big male lions. Elephants , all the animals you would wish to see. Joseph got us very close to this aswell as other animals, He was the best. Going with Ann last year with my son for his 18th birthday was perfect so had no doubt when booking up again with my 2 best friends and my older brother. Ann is always on the end of a phone if you need to ask her anything. When collected at hotel in morning we got such a welcome from Ann and julius. Also just leaving a small deposit with Ann in June 2025 and paying when we arrived. The fees for masai mara were increased in october 2025. Ann contacted me and said she would pay the fees in advance to save us money when we arived in January. I would not go past this lady and her team when looking for a safari, I'm sure I will be back again. Thank you Ann for a great time , we all had a fantastic trip. Reliable and professional
I am pleased to give my highest recommendation to Blue Mountain Trekking Safaris. We used their services as a group and Ann helped us organise our complicated itinerary in Kenya and Tanzania. The communication with her was smooth and without any misunderstandings. We didn't have to pay anything in advance which made things easier for our group. Our guide in Amboseli National Park was great and the transition over the border with Tanzania was organised perfectly, changing the transportation and drivers. And planned and organized and over the top Safari that met all of our needs
I have been to Kenya once before, but this trip was a once in a lifetime adventure! The four lodges were amazing. On the two times Daily drives we saw, up close, every animal, I dreamed of seeing. We saw lions and ostriches breeding, lions and their Cubs playing, and giraffes sitting at night to stretch. My driver/guide, Ben was with us the whole time he was an excellent, knowledgeable, friendly driver. I would highly recommend Ann at blue Mountain trekking and Safari anytime.

Trip of a lifetime
Ann planned such an amazing trip for our group! Every detail (planned or unplanned) was handled with efficiency. I had Ben as my guide and was so impressed with the knowledge and skill he showed getting us to the right spot for the views of all the animals. I kept thinking nothing could top the previous day...how delightfully wrong I was!

Trip to remember forever
Ann and her family and team are amazing to work with! Ann planned an incredible experience for our party of eleven with amazing resorts and safari drives. She listened to what we wished to do and see and planned accordingly. We visited Amoboseli, Maasai Mara, Naivasha, and Nakuru parks.
The guides Brian, Edward, Ben and Dan were wonderful people and made our daily treks fun and educational. They were flexible when we took a little too long or when we wanted to make an additional stop.
We were able to witness so many close encounters with all the animals like watching a pride of lions reunite, and feed their young after a kill.
