Excellent Tour! Safe and Efficient!
5/5

I could see so many precious scenes such as lions eating a wildebeest and cheetahs eating an antelope. My family and friends don't believe that I took those pictures, but I really took them! :D I really enjoyed the tour of Tanzania Roadside Expeditions.
Before I went to Tanzania, I had sent a lot of emails to Paul to ask about the itinerary, hotel and the price. He patiently answered them and arranged the itinerary for me. Also he came to pick me up at the airport on the first day, and I felt relieved to see him because I traveled alone and I concerned about the safety of Arusha. During the tour I felt no danger.
James, the driver, knew where to find animals and I could see many precious scenes as I wrote above. Also his driving skill was nice. He carefully drove not to shake the car, and when we found animals, he always took the best position to observe them. Thanks to him I took so many nice pictures. Also he took me to the local market in Arusha on the last day and he explained to me the local lives in Arusha. Those were so interesting, too! :)
Also, the members of the company were so friendly and they took me to a local restaurant on the first day and final day. I really felt at home and forgot that I was traveling alone. :)
Thank you very much for all of the staffs of Tanzania Roadside Expedition! I can't believe I experienced such precious moments!
If I could go Tanzania again, I must choose same company! ;)

Great trip with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions!
5/5

We have no reservations in recommending Tanzania Roadside Expeditions (TRE). Paul put together a safari itinerary based on our schedules and flight times, and the mix of national parks (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Arusha) reflected the wide range of ecosystems that Tanzania has. The actual itinerary matched what was customised/described to us over email communications.

Our guide, Ole, is very knowledgeable about wildlife, and is passionate about conservation. He was responsible in the way he conducted the safari (e.g. not feeding wild animals, or going off-road from designated driveways in the national parks – which we saw some other groups do), and we were taken good care of over the six days that we were with him. We got to see fascinating wildlife at a close distance (including lions, elephants, hippos etc.) and also learnt a lot about Tanzanian history and culture from Ole.

The choice of lodges / tented camps was excellent, and we enjoyed our stays in locations with very friendly and professional staff. This was a memorable trip for us and as first-time safari travelers, we are glad that we went with TRE.

All the experience was very good. We had a great guide, and our own vehicle while others were jammed into shared cars etc.

Paulo and his staff who were friendly, very helpful, knowledgeable, and always smiling!
5/5

I recommend Paulo and his staff who were friendly, very helpful, knowledgeable, and always smiling!

We went to Lake Natron to see the oldest human footprints in the world - 120,000 years old! They are fossilized on the ground, in a fenced area that you can walk into.

We went to lake Natron and the Serengeti on a trip that Paulo planned for us. We wanted to see the Lake Natron hominid footprints made in the land 120,000 years ago, as well as visit local villages and schools. This area was very interesting and we walked around through a Masai village and interact with the herders, school children and various families for a whole day. The local women have many bracelets and necklaces to sell which were very colourful.
There were lots of pink flamingos in Lake Natron.

In the Serengeti, we saw all the animals on our check list, and lots of wildebeest and lions with fat bellies laying around under trees.
