excellent service, fantastic holidays
Our experience with Shemeji has been outstanding the whole way through. It was our first visit to Tanzania and we did a 5 day trip to see Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorogoro. The animal life in the parks were fantastic, up close and exciting. Hippos and even lions wandered through the camps at times, this was so exciting but we felt very save and taking care off all the times. Though very basic, all accommonidations were very good, especially the dinner was amazing.
Every day it was a surprise to see other animals and beautiful landscape. Our guide, Julian, was amazing, very professional and experienced and so patient while we took tousands of pictures :)
After the Safari trip we spent a few days exploring Stone Town (very crowded, one day is enough time to visit all attractions!) in Sansibar and relaxing at the beach. It was a perfect holiday!

Everything was perfect!, comunication, services, etc... everything went well! it was a pleasure to my Family and I since the begining until the end of our trip to Tanzânia. The Shemeji was simply the best, our driver, Mr. Sele, was very attencious with us, he gave us all kind of the details regarding all places we stayed, all animals we meet and all village we knew. Great Tour with Wonderful Driver/Tour Guide
First off, the communication between Shemeji Safari was smooth and fast. Emma helped a lot when we were having questions about the tour as well as booking it. The driver/tour guide we had was Andrew, and he was amazing! He had great eyes for the animals during our safari and very knowledgeable about both the animals and the Massai culture. The car was clean, tidy and sturdy. They provided plenty of water, and the lunchboxes were filling too. To conclude, everything was wonderful. 10/10 recommend.

Perfect introduction to Tanzania.
Shemeji provided us with prompt and professional services right from my initial contact. Emma met and catered for all of our needs and planned a safari to suit.
Our driver David, was punctual and knowledgeable. Although some days required a lot driving between destinations David provided us with an insight to the local culture and lifestyle. The BEST experience of our lives
Shemeji organised the perfect Safari for me and my wife, we went on a 5 day Safari: Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. First all the booking, payments, doubts, communication, you know, all that prior-to-travel process, was fantastic. Emma was very helpful, she was always answering very fast, we wanted to have different quotes and she did all for us, and we think we paid a really good price for what we got. The payment was particularly easy because of their Dutch bank account.
Then once we arrived, everything happened as Emma told us before hand, they picked us up at the airport, the accommodation was ready, everyone was nice and helpful, always with a big smile and happy to answer all your questions. then the safari, ADAM was really good guide, a lot of experience and a great spotter! He knew which animals he was seeing no matter how far they were, you can ask him anything, he will answer. Adam is a great guide. The car was comfortable and clean all the time, we never lacked of food nor water. Definitely Adam helped us make this trip unforgettable.
We stayed in Kirurumo Manyara, Serena Serengeti and Serena Ngorongoro. Shemeji sorted all the bookings and we did not have any problems, they were waiting for us. If you are planning to go near Manyara, Kirurumo tented lodge is a FANTASTIC place, our favourite hotel from the three.
If you are planning to go to Tanzania, I have no doubt that Shemeji is the best option. We saw all big 5, plus many more, including baby animals. Thanks again Shemeji! totally recommended.

Excellent service all the way
Shemeji Safari did a fantastic job arranging a safari for me and my family.
Rigth from the beginning the communications on email was outstanding. I ordered a quote on a safari (3 day trip) and they understood my needs right away. They suggested alternatives and it was easy to talk details and get the planning finalized.
We were picked up in Kilimanjaro Airport as planned and on time. We had a night in Arusha before going on safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. All the way we stayed at nice hotels (Serena Lodges), and they were even better than I had imagined. The view over Ngorongoro from over room was spectacular and so was staying in the middle of Serengeti in our own big bungalow.
Our safari driver, Edward, was very professional, considerate and nice to be around. We travelled with our 4 year old and he was very good at driving slowly giving her time to see everything. His knowledge about the wildlife was impressing and he could answer all our questions about aminals ets. We saw all the interesting animals on our trip - a lot of lions - and even rhinos from a distance in Ngorongoro.
All in all we feel that we have gotten a superb product and service from Shemeji - and for a really reasonable price. We feel we got excellent value for our money.
If you are looking for a place to buy your safari in Tanzania - don't hesitate to use Shemeji. They have my warmest recommendations.
