Trip of lifetime and open company to book with.We enjoyed our safari
Everything was arranged for us and we didn’t have to plan anything for our 4 days lake nakuru and Masai mara and one extra night at Nairobi.They arranged all from airport pick up to our accommodation at the park.Thomas our guide, was very knowledgeable about all the wildlife,always punctual and clean safari van.We were able to see alot of animals at masai mara.The tents were perfect and clean with amazing staff in both lenchada camp and Ziwa lodge.All in all we loved traveling with Starpal Safaris.

Great services from the office to the field

Thank you so much and sorry for delay to write this review and let you know how our safari was.Paul was always on top of everything particularly during these trying times when everything could change all over a sudden due to covid 19. The service provided by the office tean during planing was perfect and also guidance, the crafting of the itinerary, attention to detail, ability to deal with setbacks and changes...in short... was a true professional and excellent at their job!Last bit was for the guide who was also perfect with alot of informatiom about kenya.Since we were on budget the the hotel we were taken(at Mara Enkorok Mara and Ziwa Lodge Nakuru)were on top.The food was good and very good staff.I cant talk all of what we saw in our 4 days masai mara and nakuru safari.I Stgrongly recommend them, Our trip was the best ever in terms of comfort and organization.

In all areas an amazing safari service
We have just completed a 10 day safari through 6 parks via Africa Starpal Safaris. Daniel's (our driver) extraordinary ability to find animals and at the same time his always loving and helpful nature make him a very special person and the best guide. We had an amazing time together with Daniel and Paul organized everything very well. If you are considering booking a tour with Africa Starpal Safaris, then make sure that Daniel becomes your driver/guide. We can highly recommend a trip with Africa Starpal Safaris.

Great Lodges, Great Driver, Unique Experience
As we had a really great time on our 6-day private safari (amboseli, nakuru, masai mara) organized by african starpal safaris, I want to give some information about how we experienced the whole thing.
The communication with Paul was good throughout the booking-process. He answered all questions and responded quickly, wich was very helpful as at first we were quite unsure about booking our safari with a small local company based on a few online reviews. But everything went very smooth and we have nothing to complain about.
The Lodges we stayed at were great and we felt that we always got one of the best rooms.
In addition to that, I guess we had one of the best drivers/guides with Tom.
He took really good care of us the whole time, spotted animals from far away with his blank eye (we saw the big5 including 2 leopards which is really rare and a lion hunt + kill among a lot of other wildlife) and had a lot of knowledge about the animals.
The only thing that could have been better is the car. We opted for the (cheaper) 4x4 safari-van (instand of a Landcruiser) which in fact was a Toyota 2WD which was quite old and looked like it has taken a lot of beating over the past years. But then again, it was a really tough car and in combination with Tom's driving skills (which were simply amazing) we managed to cross offroad paths which I never thought were possible with this car. Tom sayed he makes it a 4WD and he kind of wasn't wrong about it. Still we got stuck once and also had to stop a few times because of minor technical issues but it actually wasn't a big thing for us as Tom was always able to fix it within minutes or knew how to "unstuck" the car. We felt safe and it kind of added some additional adventure to the whole safari-experience ;).
So if you are looking for a local safari-agency, give african-starpal a try and make sure you ask for Tom as your driver. If you don't want the additional adventure and you are going to masai mara consider to get a landcruiser or maybe try beforehand to insist on a 4x4 van.

Africa Starpal Safaris is incredible to work with Paul controlling the office arrangements. There is a quick response to your questions, communication is excellent and attention to detail is impressive. We had a wonderful time on our safari and all the experiences exceeded expectations on our 6 days Kenya safari. Thomas is easy to work with and the best wildlife spotter ever and very good at individualizing needs. We were booked into incredible lodges and the service was excellent very clean and had very friendly staff.We really enjoyed our safaris with then and we will always recommend them.

Best travel agecy for a safari in kenya
As we booked the safari over the internet/e-mail and Winfred was our planner, we appreciated the professional organization. She was very helpful and on top of things and answered all of our questions. Everything worked as promised. Paul and the guide Morris met us on the first day at the airport where we were briefed and the whole safari.
Morris , our guide, made this safari a great experience for the whole family. We saw lots of animals (big five)for the 9 days we have been with them covering masai mara,Lake Nakuru,Amboseli and Tsavo East.

Amazing experience and very helpful staff!
Having never been to Africa, we decided to book a safari with a company that would help us the entire way. Paul was incredibly helpful with our planning. He helped us customize a perfect tour for our wants/wishes. He setup transport from the airport to our hotel in Nairobi late the first night we arrived along with our covid tests and a really fun dinner the night we left. Sammy was a fantastic driver guide and we really enjoyed spending time with him. He was fun, very helpful and knowledgeable about all the locations we visited. We definitely recommend Africa Starpal if you are planning a safari!

Amazing safari
First of all thanks to Paul, the tour operator who was arranging for our 3 days masai mara safari, to the guides, we had two, one in English and one in Spanish, because my partner don't speak nor know English well, were great. They were attentive at all times and solved problems that we had that had nothing to do with us. During the safari they explained everything to us very well and found the animals before anyone else, great experts in knowing where to look. The car of the best, comfortable and spacious. The camp we stayed in was great, at night you listened to the animals and it was exciting. The beds are clean and comfortable. In short, the best safari, and on top of that at the best price than with other companies.

Very helpful planning and wonderful safari while we were there!
Paul Muthui was helpful in planning our safari. He was helpful with a custom itinerary, booking the lodging exactly where we wanted to stay, and letting us book some of the places ourselves. He was flexible on payment terms as well. Our guide Pascal took us to some great spots for food, helped us find all sorts of amazing wildlife (saw the Big Five, a newborn giraffe, and so on). Just make sure you tell him what you're looking for (he started pausing to photograph birds in flight when I explained that's something I like to do). He tolerated my overly chatty father as well, haha. Overall we were very pleased and had a wonderful, affordable private safari.
