Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru adventure
This was an amazing experience. We could not find a better Safari compared to the price. Jimmy was a great guide and was a pleasure to be around. We strongly recommend spending some time at the Masai Village at the Masai Mara as well.
Pros: Good price, on point pickup and drop off, great game drive program.
Cons: Food was of low quality.
We feel we saw everything that you need to see of safaris in Kenya - so dont hesitate to book.

Professional, fast-responding and experienced.
We were considering doing a self-driving safari and experience the parks by our own but we are so glad we got that a tour guide and experienced person with us. This experience will not be the same without our tour guide, especially such a great person like Jimmy. He was very attentive, kind, knowledgeable and most importantly had hakuna matata attitude. He took the best care of us. Prior to booking I was in contact with Lennox who helped me with every question I had about the safari. The value that we got from the safari was definitely worth the price. The route was carefully selected which shows the years of experience. We saw all the animals and had very close encounters. Jimmy always picked the best spot for us to view. I already recommended the company and our guide to my friends. Overall a great experience and definitely recommended.
Excellent in everyway
I was looking for an economic option to go to Maasai Mara over the weekend (3day/2nights) and after asking in many places Axis was able to find for me a good price that also was during the days I needed.
Our driver and guide was Yasin and he was superb. On time always, flexible, VERY PATIENT, resourcefully and knowledable of the area.
I will try to book again with Axis and with Yasin to go to Amboseli.

Axis Africa is a trusted safari operator to enjoy a safe and exciting journey in Kenya!
For a first safari traveler like myself, having a trusted safari tour operator is a must. Axis Safari has arranged a great program to allow me enjoying the most of places I'd like to see, from the Lake of Navisha and Nakuru to the Masai Mara. The guide who accompanied me was knowleageable and fun. The selection of accomodations were also good, although next time I'd prefer rooms that were not very far and isolated from the main hall of the lodges.

All promises delivered
We arranged a 5 days trip with Axis Safaris, all being handled professionally and all promises were delivered where we saw all the target species and visited the beautiful places (Naivasha, Nakuru, and Masai Mara). The tour guide was really expert and friendly with years of experience and good companion during the trip. For certain, its valued for money and we love to find other opportunity to visit other places in Kenya with this tour operator... :-)

Skillful driver, gentle to nature and easy going
Safari in Maasia mara was a great experience. Especially the whole day game drive was great! Communication by the operation was fine! Also the camp was good, with nice food. So would certainly recommend overall!

Amazing trip and great holidays
This was once in a lifetime experience and one of the best vacations I ever had. My wife (29y) and I (34y) spent six days on Safari in Kenya.
We went to Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. In Maasai Mara we loved the nature and we were so lucky to see lions mating, leopards napping in trees and cheetahs having a great lunch (poor gazelle). In lake Nakuru we watched rhinos grazing and arriving Amboseli, Kilimanjaro greeting us with an amazing sunset. At Amboseli we came so close to so many elephants and felt in love with the gentle giants.
All accommodations were carefully picked and our hosts did everything to give us a wonderful experience. The food was always delicious and reflected local cuisine very well.
Although we spend a lot of time in the car, I was not bored for a second. Our tour guide Jimmy kept us entertained and safe throughout the journey. In general Jimmy was the best guide one can imagine and did everything possible for giving us the best time. For example he helped us to get a SIM card and set up a M-PESA account (mobile payment).
Axis Africa Safaris was a great choice and we are so thankful for all the efforts put in this wonderful trip.

Incredible animals, organized and responsive operators!
We had an incredible time on our safari here. This was our first time on a safari and Axis Africa was extremely helpful and responsive; Lennox even went above and beyond to help us with late-night visa issues on our way to Kenya (make sure to get an e-visa ahead of time!!). Peter was a fantastic driver; very friendly and knowledgeable, very skillful at maneuvering rough terrain, and had a great feel for the pacing of the game drive. The camp we stayed at was clean, the staff friendly, and the food tasty. Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru are astounding. We were able to see a wide variety of animals at the tail end of the Great Migration, and there were lots of baby animals this time of year as well! Overall, could not recommend more highly.

The team I trust - Lennox, Kikitu, Khalifa
For the third time I choose to trust Lennox to organize our Kenya safari and I have no regrets. I am the leader of groups of tourists and I always very carefully select the partner who will organize our trip to some distant and familiar country. Before making my choice I exchanged emails with several local travel companies. Lennox won me over right away with his quick, accurate and honest responses to all my questions, as well as his willingness to be flexible with our often changing tentative plans. Lennox doesn't talk too much, but he listens/reads carefully and quickly understands what is being asked of him. He always answers my questions and suggestions point by point. Thanks Lennox!
I am also extremely grateful for the best guide that the company provided me even for my first group in 2019. Kikitu Douglas is my discovery - for me he is not only the best safari guide and driver, he is simply one of the nicest and kindest people I know. Every time with every new group that visits Kenya, I insist that Kikitu be with us and I can tell that this warm and cheerful person finds a way to the heart of even the most difficult people who rarely like anyone and hardly smile. With him I am confident that we will get the best pictures because he not only finds the animals but always gives the best position to capture the wildlife. In addition, he is full of knowledge about life in the savannah and is happy to share his knowledge with tourists. Kikitu is a real encyclopedia and a real sight hunter.
This time in September 2022 our group was big and we had to rent two jeeps. The driver of the second jeep was Khalifa Abdallah. He also turned out to be a treasure - a very artistic and funny guide, with a wealth of life and professional experience. His stories really entertained and inspired people and me. In addition to all this, he is a virtuoso driver, which is not at all easy on the difficult terrains of the savannah and jungle.
Kikitu and Khalifa seem to know no fatigue when giving themselves away in their work. They gave us unforgettable adventures and knowledge about wildlife. At the end of our trip, the people in my group said "Thank you. The experience was worth every cent we paid for it!"
Thanks Lennox, Kikitu and Khalifa! I will certainly come back again with new friends and choose your professionalism and your big, warm African hearts again!
