He was professional, kind, knowledgeable and a really fun character and friend to be around with
Axis safaris was really professional with their detailed explanation and planning. The pricing was really good compared to some other places we checked. They paired us with Yasin who was a true professional. His love for his job and nature really made it memorable for us. As he says safari is a bit of luck but his knowledge and connections gave us the chance to see all the animals we wanted (some rare ones such as cheeta and leopards as well!). His car was comfortable and well cared for and he never tried to opted out of doing extra hours or longer stays. He was alwayd like "take your time". He even waited 20 mins to search a book for the name of a bird our friend asked about. I felt like having a companion and not a guide only and this made it a special journey.

The perfect mix of professionalism and flexibility
This safari has been really amazing!
The first part which concerned the inquiry of information, questions and booking was handled perfectly by Tabitha which has been always responsive, kind and professional. I asked her a lot of question and also changed my plans several time since I was booking for a group of 7 student and she has been very patient and accommodating.
The first day of the safari we have been picked up from our hotel and brought to the office of Axis. From there onwards we have been taken care by Yasin, our driver and guide which has been with us for the whole Safari. As I mentioned in the title Yasin has been the perfect mix of professionalism and flexibility. In fact he always drove very carefully, giving a lot of information and answering all our questions. In the park he was the first to ask to the ranger the permission to get closer to the animals so that we could get the best spots to take pictures. On the other hand he has also been super flexible in accomodating our requests and desires. He accepted to extend our first game drive from 8 hours to 12 hours! We left at 7 and came back at 19:00. This was because he did not want to leave the park before being able to find a male lion and we found three brothers around 18 with perfect light from the sunset. So we could really not have asked for a better service. Also the second game drive in Lake Nakuru has been super nice and even if it was supposed to finish at 17, Yasin extend it till 19:00 so that we could enjoy the sunset from the lake in front of the flamingos. During the drives he also gave us a big speaker to put on music and two binoculars. Moreover he had a book with all the birds of east africa and everytime he was telling us the exact name of the bird that we were seeing so that we could look it up also in the book.
Regarding the accomodations and food they have also been super nice. We chose the cheapest option but the first lodge in Masai Mara was still very comfortable even though it was not luxurious, but that's part of the experience I think. The hotel in Nakuru instead was very elegant with also a swimming pool that we could use and great food.
I could keep writing a lot but then it would be a bit too long of a review so I just conclude by saying that this has been my first safari and he exceeded all my expectations thanks to the organization of Axis and especially to the guide of Yasin.
Highly recommended to everyone especially considering the great ratio quality/price.

Axis safaris and especially our guide to was super flexible and reliable.
My experience with Axis Safari, and especially with Yasin as our guide, was truly outstanding. Yasin was incredibly reliable, flexible, and kind, and he did everything to accommodate our wishes throughout the trip. The safari itself was amazing and exceeded all my expectations. We were able to see all the animals I had hoped for, and even more.

It was a incredible experience that was facilitated by knowledgeable, kind and experienced staff.
I had a wonderful trip with my family. We decided on a private safari which was an excellent choice and made the experience more tuned to our needs. Though I have no doubt that they would provide the same level of service, expertise and kindness in all setting. Our guide Raymond made sure we saw the big 5 and numerous other animals. His knowledge about the animals and environment was phenomenal and I could never say enough good things.
If you get the chance ask for him, he really worked hard and made our experience a once in a lifetime trip. We stayed at Mara Mashi lodge and it was everything we hoped for and more. Rooms where comfortable and luxurious, food was excellent and the staff was incredibly kind and everyone went the extra mile to ensure our stay was amazing. We then moved to Sopa Lodge in Lake Nakaru which was such an incredible park and the lodge was fantastic. Views where out of this world.
A day trip took us to lake Navishka and it was amazing to walk crystal island.. do not miss out on walking with giraffe, Zebra and wildebeest and even seeing hippos from a safe distance... amazing. We stopped at the small Cafe on the island had one of the best Thai coffees since I was in Thailand.
Every detail was handled by Axis ( Phillip, thanks so much) and Raymond and I cant recommend them enough.

Unforgettable
I would like to highly recommend AXIS SAFARIS without any hesitation. Communication with Tabitha was extremely smooth – she explained everything in detail, from choosing our safari to completing the reservation.
I would also like to express my special gratitude to our guide Dennis – an exceptional professional and a wonderful person. He always positioned us in the best possible spot with excellent visibility and as close to the animals as safely possible, despite the many jeeps around. He took into consideration each of our wishes. Always smiling, positive, and attentive, he looked after us at every moment, sharing interesting facts and making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
Thanks to him, we managed to see all of the Big Five, as well as a cheetah, and truly immerse ourselves in the rich flora and fauna of Kenya. We felt completely safe throughout the journey.

Profesional approach. Perfect timing dutiny whole safari.
The safari was organized at a high level from the beginning. Everything in the description was fulfilled.
Communication with Axis tour was excellent. I must also highlight the services of our guide Tom. He was professional, kind, punctual, patient and eager to inform us about all the important things.
I definitely don't regret the invested money.
