Incredible wildlife sightings and perfect holiday with Richard, a fantastic Masai guide!
Our group had a wonderful time on our Masai Mara Safari with Axis Africa. We want to specifically thank our guide Richard and organizer Lucy for making the experience so memorable. We went during peak season and were pleasantly surprised that the crowds were fine and there were plenty of animals to see, especially large herds of wildebeest/zebras for the Great Migration.
It makes a big difference to have a local guide, specifically a member of the Masai community. Richard went above and beyond since it was clear that he personally cared about having great wildlife sightings. We are grateful to have seen all of the "Big 5" animals including the rare leopard and black rhino. Nothing was rushed and we had a comfortable experience throughout.
We also appreciate that Axis Africa was able to curate the itinerary to fit our precise needs as a group. We absolutely recommend them to others looking to go on safari.

Best family vacation with fantastic guide
My group of 7 had the most amazing time in the Masai Mara with Richard and Axis Africa Safaris. The quality of your guide makes or breaks the experience, so it's essential to choose somebody reliable and who you would genuinely enjoy spending hours with each day in the car. Richard is very knowledgeable, patiently answered all of our questions, and went the extra mile (literally!) to show us some of the rarest animals.
The accommodations were all very comfortable, the food was tasty, and overall this was certainly the most special vacation for everybody in our group of 7. It was our first safari and we're already talking about how we want to return!

Four Days of Wildlife, Adventure & Exceptional Guiding
I had a fantastic four-day group safari to the Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru with Axis Africa Safari, starting from Nairobi. Communication beforehand with Tabitha was excellent, and my questions were answered very promptly.
Our guide, Kevin, was truly exceptional. He’s a fantastic and safe driver, an incredibly knowledgeable guide, and a very clear communicator who kept us well informed about departure and arrival times and everything in between. During the game drives, he went above and beyond to make sure we saw as much wildlife as possible and always worked hard to give us the best views, even when other cars were already gathered around a sighting.
Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend Axis Africa Safari—and if you’re lucky enough to have Kevin as your guide, you’re in very good hands!

Amazing experience
We were on 3-days trip to Masai Mara with Peter kapino and it was amazing experience. He was driving really good and we were able to make perfect photos. Unfortunately we weren’t able to see rihno and great migration, but Peter explained why and it wasn’t his fault. Very good atmosphere and amazing tents to sleep (no need to worries about animals in the tent).

Peter was very enthusiastic to show us ale the animals, there was never a problem for him.
We were 3 days on this trip and 1.5 days in Safari. There was so many animals to see that for us is totally not enough this 3 days, that’s why we for sure want come back and see more. It was our first experience like that so we were a little afraid about safety, dirty, insects and how we will handle this trip, but Peter make all of this go away and give us so much positive energy that all the bad things that could happen never did. Beautiful wild animals and breathtaking landscape that will stay with us for a long long time. It was amazing adventure.

The real star, though, was our guide, Peter Kapino. His knowledge of the wildlife and the park is next level — he always seemed to know exactly where to find the animals, and explained everything with genuine passion. We spent what felt like forever watching a herd of elephants up close, one of those moments you never forget. Peter was patient, funny, and made us feel completely safe and looked after the entire time.
Between the organization, the guiding, and the value for what we paid, this was hands down one of the best trips of our lives. If you’re planning a safari, book with Axis Africa and ask for Peter Kapino — you won’t regret it!

What an incredible few days with the best guide anyone could wish for. Yasin was superb!
What an incredible few days with the best guide anyone could wish for. Yasin from Axix Safari’s was exceptional. Hugely knowledgeable and willing to impart information freely and also good fun with a super sense of humour.
We got to see so much and he always instinctively knew the best spot to be in and places to go, very much at one with the wildlife.
I can’t recommend Yasin enough, I stayed at Masi Sopa Lodge which was indulgent but absolutely worth it.
Out of so many amazing experiences it’s really hard to narrow it down to one but Lion Cubs were definitely a huge bonus highlight.
