Wonderful Kenya first time safari holiday , surpassed expectations !
My daughter and I had a fantastic week on our very first safari experience , a 7 day safari tour arranged through Axis Africa. We went to Masai Mara, lake navaisha , Nakuru and Amboselli. We had the services of Joshua a fab driver / guidewho was so skilful in spotting where to view the exciting wildlife and so full of interesting information as well as a careful driver. We saw such a wide amazing range of animals including quite a number of lions in M Mara as well as Amboselli. If you are lucky to have a good guide like Joshua, you will have a fab experience. We enjoyed the variety of activities including gorge walk in Hells Gate , boat ride on LakeNavaisha to see hippos etc. The week exceeded my expectations to be able to see so many exciting animals in their natural habitat.
Lennox , manager from Axis was very prompt in responding to all queries through the enquiry, booking and payment process . He was able to customise to my request to join a small group tour , of 6 ( rather than private tour) while opting for midrange accommodation ( instead of budget options) and we enjoyed the company of our fellow travellers who were on shorter itineraries ( a couple of them may have booked through other tour operators, the companies collaborate closely ) . By time of our last 2 days we were down to a private group of 2. the Sopa lodges and Kibo luxury tents were of high standards, esp the lake Navaisha Sopa lodge ( luxurious, very spacious suite ) with zebras, water bucks, giraffe in the grounds, hippos from the lake. !, You can definitely trust Axis, which was much cheaper compared to tours offering much less if booked through a U.K. Tour operator and also best price for our choices compared to other local operators. Although Axis is not listed with KATO ,they have a sister company Jocky tours which is KATO registered. Payment options are flexible too. The tour information on accommodation options is very good , you can directly check up the specific camps / lodges to decide . I was very pleased to have chosen Axis Africa to organise a great safari experience .

"simply awesome, amazing and wonderful tour"
I started planning just 2 weeks before my actual tour date so, I had too many queries but I really appreciate Lenox's (tour operator) patience who replied all of my queries regarding tour 24x7. He totally understood my requirements and plan as per that so, thanks a lot Lenox.
I am wildlife lover and it was my first tour to Africa so my expectations was too much from this tour and I can say I enjoyed this tour more than I expected.
Special thanks to Lawrence our safari driver and guide. He tried all possible way to show us wildlife with details. He's so much friendly, energetic, co-operative and caring person.
Also thanks to Hellen our care taker during our stay in Masai Mara who served us delicious food and always ready to help.
Clean tent house, delicious food, co-operative staff, Knowledgeable tour guide (Lawrence) you will never get all this in a very low price package so, I strongly recommend everyone to book Kenya safari through Axis Africa only.

My safari experience with Axis Africa was amazing! I booked a last minute 3-day safari in Masai Mara and the team was super responsive, answered all my questions and helped me secure my spot in just a few minutes. The pick up and drop off were made easy for me. We were a group of 5 with two guides Albert and John (one was on his training). The car was great, a 4WD jeep with a pop up roof. This makes a huge difference when driving in the park. Our driver ended up helping vans that were stuck a few times. I was staying at Mara Chui which had a really good service and the rooms were super nice and clean.
The game drives were unbelievable! We saw all the animals we were looking for and super close too! Albert our driver was super experienced to drive on the difficult roads in and outside the park, and was always on the lookout to take us to the right spots to see the animals.
We were very well looked after during the entire trip, it was great value for money and I 100% recommend this team to go on a safari!

We had a great tour in Kenya! It was the rainy season so there was a lot of flooding but Evan’s was able to navigate through with no problems and make it an incredible experience!

Knowledgeable, attention to detail, and absolutely wonderful.
From the minute we booked, we could not have asked for more. The whole process was easy. We were kept informed of every little detail and were picked up on time. The driver was exceptional, he made the experience 100%.
He was so knowledgeable, he would be detailed in telling us about each animal. It was never a bother when he turned around, ready to find a certain animal. If one of us saw an animal in area, we could go searching for it.
Attention to detail was amazing. We never went back to the hotel until we had seen everything. Our driver made the whole experience 100% better and would genuinely go again.
The safari was incredible, it was a super hot weekend, thr packed lunches were lovely and filling. The evening safari was an amazing experience, the next day we spent the whole day exploring masi mara. And then the following day, we travelled back to our accommodation.
The driver was happy to take us to the airport but at last minute, he took us to our friend's house, which he didn't mind.
100% this was a once I'm a lifetime opportunity, it was breathtaking, an experience I would never forget.

The Masai Experience!
Had a wonderful time on this safari. It was well organized and we covered a lot of ground in three days, seeing incredible sights on our game drives and in our visit to a Masai village. Our guide, Geeman,was knowledgeable, fun, and very helpful! Everything was taken care of for us. All in all, a great experience!

Well planned and executed.
We booked our safari with Axis Africa very last minute (about 2 weeks before the trip) and everything was amazing! Lennox was great with all of our questions and communications over email. Our guide was Kevin and he was amazing and so knowledgeable about the wildlife and parks. He ensured that everything ran smoothly and stuck to schedule, plus he is an amazing driver, which was great for navigating some of the bumpy roads both in and out of the parks. The camp, hotel, and lodge we stayed at were all great, especially for a budget safari. Would highly recommend booking your safari with Axis Africa!

Incredible value for the money! I and two friends booked a private budget 5-day safari, and were just so pleased and impressed. Our driver, Kevin, was absolutely wonderful and so knowledgable about all the animals we saw. All of the accommodations were great (they get nicer every night, with the last night being at a surprisingly luxurious lodge!), and every day was so well planned out -- even down to the bathroom breaks Kevin anticipated us needing. We opted to go during the low/rainy season because that was the only time that worked for us, but we still had a truly amazing experience. We saw tons of wildlife, and Kevin was always careful to get the car in good positions for animal viewing and photos. The whole experience from the initial booking process to the very end was extremely well thought-out and professional. I absolutely recommend this to others.
