Khalifa was absolutely incredible we could not fault him he had buckets of info and stories to share
We chose Axis Africa as it was recommended from another group of friends. I was in contact with Lennox who was organising our trip. The safari itself was incredible and our driver Khalifa made it more special. He shared loads of information about the animals we were seeing and always had a funny anecdote to share which kept everything so interesting! Unfortunately, Lennox scheduled and charged us for a day of activities that we were unable to complete as he didn't allow for transfer time to the airport that day which was a bit disappointing. He didn't have any way to compensate for this and my last two emails to Lennox have been left unanswered.

Regarding the refund, as i tried to explain to you via our email conversation, you were on a 3 days 2nights itinerary and its unfortunate that your flight back home on the 3rd day was coming up at around 2pm which based on experience it would have been so risky to do activities of Day 3 in masai mara and still drive back to Nairobi to catch your flight(keeping in mind you need to be at the airport 2-3hrs in advance), in consultation with guide Khalifa we squeezed the activities of day 3 to have you do them on Day 1 on arrival, according to initial plan day 3 was to be a visit to Masai Village, and you did this on Day1 after the evening game-drive. This therefore meant that we freed Day3 for traveling back, we highly apologize for overlooking the fact that you were not aware that Masai mara is some 5-6hrs drive away from Nairobi, and for squeezing the itinerary with the thought that we were creating a risk free travel back to Nairobi airport.
Regarding compensation we thought that since we managed to do all the activities as planned, we had nothing to spare to do a compensation,however we still offered free transportation to Giraffe Center, before heading to drop you at the airport, this was a detour and was not part of the tour plan, it unfortunate this was not a good enough compensation plan.
We highly apologize for this, and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us, and we're sorry to hear that your visit didn't meet your expectations. The driver cum tour guide was well mannered, experienced and articulated. Totally loved his expansive knowledge of the wildlife, we learnt a lot from Kevin. And he is too kind! Definitely hooked!

Richie and julius couldn’t do enough for us. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
Richie and Julius were amazing safari tour guides! They were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch safari experience!

The best tour operator I have travelled with. Fun, informative and accommodating
The most amazing experience!! Julius and Richard were our hosts and they were so accommodating. They informed us about the culture, the animals and the day to day life of people in Kenya and Africa. They insured all our needs were catered for and always made sure we were having a great time. Ronaldo our photographer was also a vibe. He was so friendly and loved having the chats with us. Our experience would not have been the same without them. Can’t thank them enough

An amazing trip all thanks to Axis Safari
We booked with Axis Safari as they were recommended by a friend. Wow , what a good choice! The trip was beyond what we had hoped for. Richie and Julius were spectacular as tour guides and went above and beyond for us. The two of them have amazing personalities and so much knowledge about the wildlife. We had so much fun and will be returning for the migration. Could not recommend Axis Safari enough

Simply the best
We undertook a 4 day safari with Julius, Richard and Ronaldo and it was quite simply one of the best holidays I have ever been on. Above all expectations. The guys provided in depth information throughout the journey, as well as going above on beyond to ensure we saw 'the big 5', up close and personal. On top of this, the ambience in the trucks was relaxed and fun throughout the 4 days. In my opinion you will not get any better for your safari tour of Kenya.

Indescribable amazing experience
We had an absolute fantastic time on our trip. From the moment we landed to our final day everything was amazing. The team were very friendly and we had a great time with them. Julias and Richard were our guides and made sure everything was perfect for us. They made sure we witnessed everything we wanted to including the big 5. Julias was great fun and provided loads of information to us, he answered every question we had in detail. We didn’t have to worry about a thing as it was all sorted for us. It was a trip we will never forget and highly recommend axis Africa safaris. Julias and Richard were great guides.

Is there any word beyond EXCELLENT? If there is then this tour was - that word. It’s breathtaking.
Our Tour was excellent and amazing! The camp was beautiful, the food was on point and above all, our Tour Guide Richard broke his bones to give us the best experience ever! Richard needs a medal for his anticipation and movements in the Safari. He gave us all the views! Loved every bit of it!
