RajaTours and Alen are the best.
I couldn't be happier about our experience with Raja Tours. Raj was very professional, informative, and responsive during the planning of our trip. We went with a five day safari and think it was the perfect amount of time to see each of the three parks we visited. Each of our lodges were comfortable and the meals were much better than expected.
Most importantly, our guide Alen was a rockstar. With 14 years of experience, growing up locally with giraffes in his school yard, he knows his way around each park. He seems to be very well known and respected by the other guides, which was very important. He effectively communicated with other guides and always got us in the perfect spot to view the wildlife. We saw four of the big five on the second day and were able to spot three rhinos on our last day to complete the set.
I would recommend Raja Tours and especially Alen for anyone looking for an unforgettable trip.

Very responding and flexible
RajaTours provided an incredible safari experience in Tarangire and Ngorongoro, with expert guidance, amazing wildlife sightings, and seamless organization throughout the trip.

Bad experience think twice book with Rajatour
Disappointing Experience – Poor Organization and Lack of Transparency
I booked a 9-day, 8-night trip to Kenya and Tanzania for a group of 6 people, and partially paid the deposit since February. The package was supposed to include all accommodations and meals throughout the trip. While everything in Kenya went smoothly, the experience in Tanzania was extremely disappointing.
• On the day we entered Tanzania, I was suddenly informed by RajaTour (the operator) that all our previously selected and confirmed hotels had been changed — without any prior notice. I was only told after we had already arrived in the country.
• The guide was unexpectedly switched to a new person who seemed confused and unfamiliar with the route. It took us 1–2 hours just to find the hotel on the first day.
• The hotels were downgraded, with the excuse that our original 4-star hotels were “fully booked”, despite our early reservation and deposit.
• For the last two days, the vehicle was changed from a proper 4x4 safari car to a small Toyota Noah — again, without any prior agreement. Not ideal for a safari trip, especially when traveling with luggage.
• On the final night, we were suddenly told that dinner was not included, despite the package clearly stating that all meals were covered.
I had to chase and negotiate with the operator every single day just to get the basics of what we had already paid for. It was exhausting and took away from the experience.
If you’re planning a trip and want peace of mind, I would suggest not to book with Rajatour.
This should have been a memorable and enjoyable trip — instead, we were left frustrated and disappointed. For the price we paid, we certainly didn’t deserve this kind of treatment.

Was good to host you with your friends ( 6 people ) as according to the plan of 9-day mid-range accommodations safari Kenya and Tanzania out of 8 nights we managed to book 6 nights ( as we agreed from the itinerary) and you stayed. The first day accommodation in Serengeti ( Serengeti Simba Lodge) was a 4-star accommodation and we booked it as last minute because to shorten the distance, you arrived to the border at Late and it could not be possible to be inside Serengeti at that time because the Mara Lodge was far to the border. Out of the plan you discussed with the guide about possibility to see the Rhino because you didn't be able to saw them in Ngorongoro ( was not our problem, it is a nature ). I paid extra cost to take you to different and cost ful park ( Mkomanzi National Park ) to see the Rhino, though we took a Noah because was one way transfer and luggage were drop off in Moshi and the rest of trip was ok. I gave the multiple options for hotel in Moshi and they choose the Luxury ( Lamama hotel ) We paid for the hotel and all meals in Moshi with receipt and you paid only for luxuries drinks.
We were committed for the changes and ensure everything goes well per itinerary. out 8 accommodations from the itinerary we managed to get 6 while 2 were Serengeti Simba Lodge ( substitute of Serengeti Wild camp ) and Ngorongoro safari Lodge to Lamama Hotel to shorten the distance and easy chance to see Rhino.
Sometimes reservations messed up ( due to peak seasons complications ) but we are always committed to ensure services at the best. We are working for the weakness and doing better

very bad
I had a very disappointing experience with Rajatours (Tanzania side). The coordination was extremely poor from the start — our itinerary was changed almost every day without clear communication. Hotels were consistently downgraded from what was originally promised. The package was supposed to include all meals and drinking water, but that was not the case. We barely had any drinking water during the day, and on some evenings, dinner was not provided at all.
What made things worse was the lack of transparency. We never knew which hotel we were staying in until late in the day, and they were always of lower quality than agreed upon. The worst part of the trip was when our group of six was moved from a proper safari vehicle to a small, cramped car simply because no guide was needed that day. Four of us had to squeeze into the backseat with our luggage on our laps — it was completely unacceptable.
This was not the standard we expected or paid for. Rajatours needs serious improvement in communication, logistics, and customer care. I would not recommend this experience to others unless the company takes meaningful steps to improve its service.

Amazing Tour of Masai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater
We had a great experience visiting 3 different locations over 6 days. Going to 3 different locations ensured that we were able to see the big 5 animals along with so many other memorable experiences such as seeing cheetah cubs with their mother nearby or an elephant calf drinking milk from it’s mother or seeing 2 male lions walk right by our safari vehicle. Alen our guide in Tanzania was great at finding and spotting all of the animals and we were often the first vehicle to see a cheetah or lion. Also the tour is a very good value overall.

Wonder Experience.
Randomly chose Raja from a list of 1000s. Glad I did. Raja was very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable when planning our tour through Kenya and Tanzania. During the planning process, he was receptive to the changes that we wanted to make. The accommodations booked through them were ok ( I would avoid any Serena Lodge in the future), with the last resort, Kitela Lodge (Tz), being one of the best resorts I have stayed in. We didn't want to leave. Where we REALLY lucked out was with our two guides, Jeff (Kenya) and Pita (Tanzania). There were both knowledgeable, spoke good English, humourous, and patient. They were also aggressive when trying to get us to the best spot to see the animals. My first African safari, Raja Tours made it one of the most memorable.

100% recommend. We enjoyed every moment
My family and I spontaneously decided to go on a safari just a month before departure, and it was during the Christmas holidays! Usually, safaris are planned a bit further in advance. In the end, everything turned out perfectly from the very beginning — pleasant communication during the trip planning stage with Rajab, and later, during the safari itself, with our drivers.
Within a couple of weeks, we planned a 6-day route through Kenya and Tanzania and set off. In Kenya, we had an amazing guide, Jeff, and in Tanzania, Daniel. I can trully recommend both of them. They spotted animals before anyone else and from the best angles. It was nice to see how passionate they are about what they do.
After the safari ended, Rajab helped organize a transfer from Arusha to Mombasa, and everything there went smoothly as well.
A huge thank you for the trip! Highly recommended.
I found communication with Raja Tours much more pleasant and easygoing than with more promoted and popular competitors who tend to overdo the pleasantries. Personally, I prefer normal communication and Rajab do it well .
