A quick river falls trip and a one day safari
5/5

The trip was amazing. I honestly don't think it could have been better. Vicent was the best!!!
He read us so well, seemed like he knew exactly what we wanted to see and got there to show it all to us. From his timely arrival at our hotel in Kampala to his tremendous driving skills, he was great. We loved the boat ride to the falls and all the sites we saw along the way. The hippos, elephants, and crocodiles were entertaining and we were happy not to see any snakes. Our hike up the falls was absolutely delightful and we got some great photos. Vincent was there to take us back to the lodge. The next morning the game drive was incredible. We saw four of the big five but frankly the giraffes more than made up for the lack of a leopard. Again, Vincent's skills really worked to our advantage. He pointed out numerous birds including the Secretary bird and the Crested Crane. When we thought there could be nothing more to see we arrived at the Rhino sanctuary, it was amazing to see these beautiful animals and learn about the struggles they are up against. We saw six rhinos all together. Very cool.

What was my favorite part? All of it, I don't think we would change a thing, but we will be back for more.

Very experienced, very caring, wonderful trips every time
5/5

I have travelled to Uganda several times with my daughters and friends and always choose Gorilla Link Tours to help us decide the best itinerary and to make the bookings - they have been the perfect Tour Operator every time. Their staff know everything about tourism in Uganda - not just in theory but they have sampled most of the locations and many of the lodges/camps. Whatever the interest and budget of the group, they have arranged the perfect tour. They are especially talented at getting gorilla tracking permits when these are hard to come by - and at short notice! Nothing is too much for them and while trip is underway, they are working 24/7 behind the scenes making sure everything is running smoothly. So I never have to worry about anything and can just enjoy my time in this fabulous country.

Nervous traveller felt welcome
5/5

To be honest after hitting 40 I always wanted a big adventure but felt time was slipping away. I have a number of health problems so to put it bluntly I am a nervous traveller and this was my time to go so far.
When I decided on Uganda I looked at a number of websites and called the companies. I was concerned about using my credit card and such like. Then a friend recommended Gorilla Link Tours, I gave them a call and spoke to a lovely lady called Caroline.

She asked me a few questions and said she would get back to me in an hour. Two hours later she called back apologising for the delay and said she had made a tour for me and provisionally book the hotels and events (Trekking, quad biking, zip lining etc).

I asked about payment and 20% was required by bank transfer which I was please about and the rest in cash when I arrive. Once in Uganda I was collected at the airport, lots of smiles and champaign all round.

The whole experience was amazing and I was also given a free upgrade and city tour. Carol you were great thanks very much and see you again in December.

Amazing holiday made even better with Gorilla Link Tours support!
5/5

I contacted Carol at Gorilla Link Tours to get support planning my trip to Uganda. She has just been amazing, so helpful, so friendly, and helping me to arrange my holiday exactly the way I wanted with the budget I wanted. I traveled alone and never felt any danger nor annoyance. I have learnt a lot about Uganda talking to Carol and her collaborators. We visited the Gaddafi mosque in Kampala and the Nile source in Jinja. With Carol's guidance I could try local food in local places: tilapia fish at Jinja, luwombo, matoke, posho, yam, karo... I just loved the food in Uganda! and of course I can't miss the rolex, perfect breakfast food. I then moved to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Carol had arranged for me a stay in a cool lodge where Tony took good care of me, arranging my safari and a boat tour last minute (I saw soooooo many animals!!!). I then moved to Rushaga for my gorilla tracking, for which Carol got the permit for me. I stayed in Nshongi camp, just next to the tracking departure, immersed in nature and again perfect hospitality. I am so glad I got the help of Carol for my trip: she made it perfect! very recommended!

Great Safari experience, very well organised. I would use again!
5/5

I had a really great time during my safari to the Queen Elizabeth National Park with Gorilla Link Tours. Prior to my arrival I was in contact by email with Carol at Gorilla Link Tours, who offered me a lot of options in terms of parks to visit, length of the visit, budget and accommodation.

Richard Tayebwa was my guide, and I couldn't be happier with him. He is a great guide, very kind and knowledgeable about Uganda's fauna (especially birds!), flora and History, and he takes safety very seriously (especially when driving, which seems to be quite risky in some Ugandan roads!). He was always looking after my needs and very keen to please me.

I went to the Queen Elizabeth National park where I spent some time on a game drive during which I got to see lots of animals (elephants, baboons, different types of antelopes, buffalos, warthogs, eagles, vultures, cranes...). That day the lions were far away from the park because it was mating season, but Richard didn't rest until we found them, very last minute, and it was amazing to see them. I also enjoyed the boat trip over the Kazinga channel, where you can see literally hundreds of animals on the shore, and very close. Lots of hippos, elephants, buffalos, some crocodiles, kingfishers, cormorants, pelicans, spoonbills, storks... Within the park, I stayed 2 nights at the Marafiki Safari lodge. The views over the lake while having breakfast and dinner were amazing, the food was excellent and the staff very kind.

On our way to the QENP, Richard took me to the outside of the Lake Mburo NP where, without actually entering the park, we saw zebras and impalas, which you can't see in the QENP.

I definitively recommend Gorilla Link Tours for a Safari Tour in Uganda.
