Fantastic all around!
Dana Mutua of East Africa Safaris is a consummate planner and provider of exceptional safari experiences in Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda! With a brief summary of the experiences we wished to enjoy in East Africa Daniel returned to us a itinerary which ticked all our boxes and more within 3 days. During our visit he was on top of every or any request we had and he carefully monitored our experiences. When unexpected air travel was encountered he quickly came to the rescue with needed assistance.
During safari we were hosted by 3 excellent guides Mike, Peter and Ben in succession who were patient, skilled and focussed on safety, and client comfort. All guides were very welcoming and showed such respect for their natural world. We learned so much about animal behavior, inter dependencies, the natural balance as well as history, politics and cultures in every country.
The transport we enjoyed were 4 wheel drive vehicles, comfortable and reengineered to optimize wildlife viewing. Driving conditions on and off main roads varied considerably but our guides were very skilled, patient and always concerned for our safety and well being.
Daniel selected a range of 5 star accommodation with full amenities, excellent food and exceptional staff .
Daniel and all his guide staff went above and beyond to make our experience unique, enjoyable and unforgettable.

Outstanding experience
Dana safaris organized and led 4 of us on an 11-day safari in Tanzania and Rwanda. We were amazed at the quality of care we received over our entire trip. Our accommodations were outstanding in every way. We had two guides, one for the Tanzania portion and one for the Rwanda portion. Both of our guides were friendly and knowledgeable- a pleasure to tour with. I wholeheartedly recommend this company with no reservation.

Daniel and his team at Dana East Africa Safaris are brilliant. Our trip was two years in the planning and Daniel ticked every box throughout the planning process. He was always available to answer our many questions and provided regular updates as we got closer to the tour dates. Daniel and his team organised everything on the ground in East Africa as well as additional time in Egypt. Our tour exceeded all expectations, our guides Michael and Nicholas were extremely knowledgeable and have created memories that will last forever. Our accommodation, meals and local flights were all organised Dana Safaris and everything was coordinated, communicated and to fantastic standards. Thank you Daniel, we will be back.

Daniel was excellent, went above and beyond our expectations.
This tour was the best tour we have ever done. We designed the tour with Daniel to suit our needs and Dana Safaris did not disappoint. Greeting us at the airport and driving us through Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda, every detail was attended to and we could not have asked for more. Each safari guide was excellent as was our accommodation. Will definitely use Dana again.

What an amazing Trip!! Daniel and team really know their stuff!! Half the fun was planning the trip and Daniel is so patient with all your queries and helps make the trip yours. He understands how special it is to you and helps you through everything. I always had so many questions and he was there for them all. Excellent Trip. Excellent Company.
I have been on many safaris in the past 30+ years in eight different countries in Africa. Dana Tours rates at the top. They arranged spot on accommodations at memory making spots. They provided guides that were professional, careful, knowledgeable and intuitive. It is very important for safari guides to not only know where the animals are but also know where the animals are going and situate the vehicle for the best overall viewing and photographic experience. Our guide from this company did this. Besides all of this, the owner, Daniel, was very helpful and always quick to answer any question we had while planning the trip.

The trip of a lifetime with Dana East Africa Safaris!
I just spent an incredible 6 days in Tanzania, visiting Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti with Dana East Africa Safaris. The trip went smoothly from start to finish, and I appreciate the personal help Daniel gave me from the get go. I’m usually a planner, and it was new for me to sit back and trust someone else to plan the perfect trip. But I gave him budget constraints, and ideas of things I wanted to see, and Daniel worked his magic wand to make it all happen! He also handpicked the PERFECT guide for me - as a solo traveller, I am so appreciative of the wonderfully calm, professional demeanor of my guide Julius, and his long term knowledge/experience of Tanzania and the animals. (He was simply the best!) I don’t usually like to use booking agencies, but I will 100% use Dana East Africa Safaris whenever I am in this part of the world, and wouldn’t trust anyone else. Dana made all of our safari dreams come true! Completely outstanding experience from start to finish
From the first inquiry email to get information and a quote to meeting us at the airport before our departure flight back home, it was an absolute pleasure working with Dana East Africa Safaris. Email communication during the planning stages was quick and easy, our two week itinerary was expertly put together based on our needs/wants and tailored exactly to meet those needs, and helpful tips for packing and preparing for our safari (entry visas, vaccines) were readily provided. I'm sure it can be very overwhelming planning for a safari, but Daniel made it smooth and completely stress-free.
Upon arriving in Nairobi, we were greeted in person by Daniel and our guide, Henry and made to feel right at home. During the Kenyan portion of our safari, Henry not only shared his knowledge about the landscapes and animals we were seeing, he worked extremely hard to make sure we were comfortable and safe. He was extremely personable and very easy to get along with. In Tanzania, our guide Aron worked to that same level of professionalism and expertise. I feel that we left these countries with two new friends. We will be forever grateful to both Henry and Aron for making our safari dreams come true! Daniel called us to check in during the safari to make sure that we were happy with how our trip was unfolding and even met us at the airport in Nairobi prior to our departing flight. These personal touches added so much to our experience. We felt so cared for during the entire duration of our trip.
I would recommend Dana East Africa Safaris, without reservation, to anyone planning a Kenyan/Tanzanian safari. Our trip was truly a dream come to reality.
