Great experience in Tanzania
We had a great month in Tanzania with my GF thanks to Vervet Safari. Basili, the onwer, offered us a great trip planification and everything worked perfectly. We started with a 5 days trip in Kilimanjaro, then a 12 days Tour in Tanzania (Arusha, Tarangire, Manyara, Lake Natron, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Eyasi) and a week in Zanzibar. Our Kilimanjaro team was great with Fredy and Fridays like guids and our tour with Yohana and David across the parks was just excellent. Asante Sana Vervet!

My wife and I just completed an 8-day safari with them that was 1 .5 years in the making due to covid-19. During that time I was in contact with the owner Basili as we rescheduled the trip 3 times and shuffled our dates, accommodations and activities.
All our communication was either by email or whatsapp and Basili was prompt to respond to my questions and queries.
A guide can make or break a safari, Vervet Safrari Tours made it a great safari for us by providing Barazza a very competent and knowledgeable guide. Heck this guy is a naturalist, knowledgeable in plants, birds, animal species and behaviors. He was very good at spotting wildlife that we can't even see with binoculars. Barazza was an awesome guide who take care of our safety and well-being during the whole trip. Many thanks to Vervet Safari for an unforgettable experience.

A team that wishes you well
We were 2 French friends who went on an expedition with John Salomon Moussa, our French-speaking guide for 3 days of safari. And well, we lived 3 days of dreams on safari in the northern parks. I do not tell you too much what you are going to live because we took full eyes. It was magical ! The whole Vervet team was super nice: Basili's advice and humor to help you design your trip taking into account your requirements is a real asset, Rachel for accounting (yeah, a woman in finance, I find it important to specify) and our driver and guide, John Salomon Moussa to spot the most beautiful animals and also, the funniest. We were treated to a fantastic welcome at the Lodge. Frankly a big thank you to the whole team. Don't change anything, you're on top. John Moussa, I hope that French travelers will come in numbers to allow you to continue to practice French. I recommend Vervet Safari to you and we hope we can come back to explore Tanzania with you. Incredible experience !
We did a private safari for our 8 day honeymoon including Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks with 1 stop at Lake Eyasi. Just 1 word: MAGIC.
It was a fantastic experience, everything was perfect and very well organized from start to finish. Basili, with whom we contacted through whatsapp from Switzerland, organized and confirmed everything before we left.
The lodges and luxury camps are amazing in terms of comfort, service and food, always delicious.
Our guide Moussa was passionate about animals and nature and taught us many things, he always knew where the animals were and could anticipate their behavior which led us to discover extraordinary moments like a leopard hunting prey.
We also met the Hadzabe and Datonga tribes and were alone to visit their village which is very nice because we really could exchange with them and share a great time.
It's a once in a lifetime experience so go with Vervet!

The safari was unrolled exactly as it was planned
Our guide Moussa was super nice, attentive, a smooth ride on the slopes and took his time to spot the animals unlike many other he speaks French well enough to understand it
We had a great meal thanks to our chef Victoire who was also super

AMAZING EXPERIENCE
We opted to go on a private safari with VERVET SAFARI & TOURS, (travel agency based in Arusha – Tanzania) because they provided excellent tours. We went on a 6 day Northern Tanzania Safari to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, and Arusha. We communicated with Basili Agustino, very friendly and helpful, with we made all plans and accommodation for the trip. He was flexible and she make the trip to all our requirements. Our guide Evance, was a good person and very friendly, educated us with the history of each park, the environment and the animals. We were very lucky to see lions rest, flamingoes, pelicans, baboons, impala, cheetahs and lions hunting. Our guide was very flexible to our wishes and needs. The tour was amazing, we stayed in a mix of wonderful tented camp and lodges that were comfortable and had excellent services. It was the first time in Africa for me and my boyfriend, our experience with Vervet Safari & Tours was phenomenal and we will be recommending the company to all.

Amazing 6 day Northern Tanzania Safari with Vervet Safari Tours
We went on a 6 day Northern Tanzania Safari with Vervet Safari Tours to Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, and Arusha. We had an unexpected and had to postpone our safari trip for a month and the company was very accommodating. They made new arrangements for us.
Our guide Moody is an amazing guide who was passionate about his work. He was knowledgeable, and you could just tell that he was very experienced. He knew a lot about the animals, the history of his country, the culture of the people, the land, and the tribes. We learnt a lot about Tanzania from Moody. My wife and I were very impressed with Moody. He gave us the experience of a life time. During our six days trip; we visited Lake Manyara National Park where Moody educated us on its history and even saw lions resting in trees, flamingoes, pelicans and lots of baboons. We also visited the Serengeti and saw many animals. We were very lucky to see cheetahs hunting. We also visited the Ngorongoro crater and Moody told us how it was formed. Moody took us to Arusha where we enjoyed local culture, danced to Swahili songs, and had amazing Swahili delicacies. The tour was incredible, under the great guidance of Moody.
We stayed in a mix of wonderful hotels and lodges that were comfortable and excellent service. Our experience with Vervet Safari Tours was phenomenal and we will be certainly recommending the company to all our friends.

The best safari tours in town :)
We decided for a 6-day private camping safari and can really only say good things :) everyone has super effort and try everything possible to fulfill all wishes! Our own chef Viktor was really great and has enchanted us every day with great food ... our guide Richard was also awesome, he knew exactly where he can find the best animals for us!
In addition, Vervet Safaris has offered us the cheapest price, so it was a great stroke of luck! Since we arrived a day earlier and had some time left, they also went out to dinner with us, drove to the bank and accompanied us to a typical Masai market and all this at no extra charge! Just awesome :)!!
So if you are looking for a great safari, for a really fair price we can only recommend Vervet! We have rarely experienced such a great hospitality :)

Another Wonderful Adventure with Vervet Safari
We were a group of 3 teachers and 9 students from Halifax and just returned from our tour of Tanzania. We had such an amazing experience visiting the parks and communities in Tanzania. Our school has a continued connection with Vervet tours and we have not been disappointed. They are a very professional company with a rich history of social responsibility.
We went in two great off-road vehicles with 2 drivers who took great care of us in the wilderness exploring.
We visited Ngorongoro crater, Serengeti and Lake Manyara which are all different and unique in their own way. The experience with the Maasai, Hadzabe, and the local school in Karatu gave us great insight about the local communities.
We loved our experience with Vervet Tours and we'll be back next year for a different experience.

Fantastic Classic Tanzania Tour
We did the classic northern Safari with Vervet Tours and have had such a memorable and amazing experience that is beyond our wildest dreams. Rachel was such a darling in handling our booking. She promptly answered to our emails, made arrangements for our accommodations, park fees, pickup times and passed so much information. When we landed in the airport Melkior was there waiting for us. He was also our guide for the next 7 days. That evening we also met with Basili and Rachel who came to our hotel for the Safari briefing and also gave us lovely gift hampers.
Our guide Melkior took us to 4 lovely parks where we saw an incredible number of animals. The balloon ride over Serengeti was perfect. Moving slowly over the huge herds of wildebeest in the early morning and taking it all in. Another lovely experience was the viewpoint in Ngorongoro which has breathtaking views of the crater.
Tarangire and Lake Manyara were also fabulous.
This tour involves a lot travel between the parks but we hardly noticed as Melkior kept us busy with interesting stories and the vehicle was pretty comfortable as it is customized for the unpaved roads.
Our thanks go to the whole team from Vervet who were there every step of the way from the time we landed to the time we took off.
We have so many fond memories from our tour and we will tell all our friends and family about your exemplary service.
