Tailored tours with outstanding guides
5/5

We spent two weeks on safari moving to to different areas of the Serengeti, Ndutu, Ngorogoro & Arusha. We were right in the migration in a number of places which is truly unbelievable. We saw everything from dung beetles to the big beasts and the most beautiful birds. Not only did we see lions, leopards & cheetah a number of times but we saw them all with cubs too.... Along with young from every species. We've been on safari a number of times before but this was the most incredible experience. If I was going to do only one safari I would do it through Easy Travel with Gerald as my guide. Hard as it is to believe every day was better than the one before & there wasn't anything we asked that Gerald couldn't answer.

Beyond outstanding service and knowledge
5/5

We did a 10 day safari through Easy Travel Tanzania. Our guide, Gerald, was exceptionally knowledgeable and stayed with us for the entire trip, taking us to Ndutu, Serengeti, NgoroNgoro crater, and Arusha National Park. We were part of a larger group, but my husband and I and our friends (another couple) were in one vehicle together. Highly recommend 4 to a vehicle rather than 6. No question was too much for Gerald to answer from animals to birds to plants, to politics to history. He not only drove for hours on end to show us the migration, the big 5, baby animals, birds, etc, but he braved rain, fog, darkness, flies, and heat to give us the best experience. He has a knack for seeing game before other vehicles and finding the best vantage point for pictures. I was amazed at the shots we got using only an iPhone. We joked that when Gerald said it was time to return to the lodge, he saved the best for last each day such as lions so close u could almost touch them! After 10 days we felt we had learned so much and made a friend. We can not recommend Gerald more highly. Such an elegant, lovely, knowledgeable man.

Fantastic, perfect, lovely
5/5

We are two old ladies, made a last minute booking for a one week safari to Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Easy. They were able to arrange everything within two days!
We had a very personal contact, they came to see us in the hotel to arrange all. We got a thorough information about the tour program, were asked for any special wishes. They even offered us the driver and car free of charge for one day to visit the central market of Arusha! Once on the way, everything was taken care of by our driver/guide Festo. He was accommodating, knowledgable, and always cool. Even before we knew what we wanted, he already offered it: coffee brake-very good soluble coffee-"P" stop :-), see the leopard, lunch picknick. He never imposed himself, but was there.
On the way to Manyara he offered us an extra tour and lunch in a local village, DO IT. The lunch is organized by the women's organisation, they do the work and benefit, delicious. We saw the fields, the orchards and visited the school, where the kids sang us Frere Jacque, seems to be as popular as Happy Birthday :-) Bring a big bag of sweets or pens and crayons or something with you, they are so happy. Class is about 40 children.
The tented camps =medium range, Tortilis chain, were lovely. Everything was in order, mosquito nets, zippers, no fail. They arrange the schedule according to the needs of the safari tour. When do you want your hot shower? At 6:30? One of the Tanzanians climbs a ladder outside of your tank, pours the hot water in, and shouts "ready hot shower!" and there you go. Lovely. Have you ever heard lions roaring near you, very near you, at night?
We stayed in Tortilis Lake Manyara 1 night, Serengeti Tortilis Camp 2 nights and Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp 1 night. Amazing, what they can put together for lodging, food, drinks and warm welcome in the middle of nowhere. Such lovely people.
The jeep was in very good order, very "comfortable", if you can call that a jeep on a track, always cleaned and well maintained, cool box, WLAN!!!in the middle of nowhere, charger for mobiles, The Works.
The girls from Easy Travel were always in contact with the guide to know, if everything was ok. Our guide was a lot in contact with his friends, the other guides no matter which tour operator, to know, if there was anything special to see. That is how we once arrived at as site, where a Cheetah was hurt through some kind of accident. The National Park Cheetah specialists arrived in short time to take care of the animal. Seems, they have an excellent veterinary hospital.
They do not offer the "See how the Masai live" excursion any more, for a good reason, naaa, don't want it.
Ngorongoro is one of the Wonders of the World. Paradise lost. All different animals living together and supplying each other, if you understand what I mean. Just so great. Festo, our guide, showed us the best places, he has more than 12 years of experience, you be sure to want that.
And, and, and,.... Coming back to Arusha, de-briefing with the girls from Easy Travel office. Agreeable as always.
We had another bad experience with another company before, so we can really, and happily recommend Easy Travel, they are SUCH professionals, aside of being lovely people.
After this we went diving in Pemba and Mafia.

The best travel experience in our life
5/5

Agent Maryam is on top of every step from planning to the last day of our trip to ensure our satisfaction. Guide Evarest is a live encyclopedia about wild animals, birds and plants. He made sure that we saw all the animals we requested. His motto of persistence, patience and perseverance helped us to find cheetahs and one of them even jumped onto our vehicle. Thank you.

The safari tour of a lifetime!!!
5/5

The communications were excellent. Jesca stayed in contact with us as necessary (pre, during and post tour). Our game drive guide Everest was great. He even went out on the limb to teach us the native language.
Easy Travel supplied us with a welcome gift that included baseball caps and African drink. They also arranged for birthday celebrations and cake at every lodging that we stayed at for the entire 7-day tour. We had access to a nice pair of binoculars and power outlets in the vehicle. The game drives were from sunup to sundown. This allowed us to witness the big wildebeest crossing. They helped us arrange the flight for the desert to Zanzibar.
The food at the lodgings was pretty tasty. The lunch boxes on the road were pretty creative and appreciated the fact that they catered to food intolerances.
We saw the Big 5 and even got to spot a white rhino sleeping in the Ngorongoro crater. The animal encounters were amazing. The chewys were tough to find but we spotted a couple in trees. Also got to see the Masai tribes with their extremely healthy cattle along the journey to, thru and from the crater.
The best part for me was staying in our tent camps. My sister was a little nervous but I completely enjoyed it.
The only thing that was a pester was those annoying tsetse flies

Amazing Tanzania safari in the northern circuit with Easy Travel
5/5

My wife and I recently completed a 7-day safari trip organized by Easy Travel. We combined this with an 8-day climb of Mount Kilimanjaro (which was also brilliantly well organized, and totally amazing in every way).

The safari we took was in every way an amazing trip and everything with Easy Travel was first rate. Maryam was our contact, and she promptly and thoroughly answered all of our emails in arranging the trip. This included two alterations to their itinerary (a side trip to Oldupai Gorge and a second trip down into Ngorongoro Gorge) which they were happy to arrange.

We left from Arusha and then followed a 7-day itinerary (Tanzania classic, comfort plus) to the following game parks: Tarangire (one day), Manyara (one day), Serengeti (two days), Lake Ndutu (one day), and Ngorongoro Crater (one day). The safaris were truly wonderful. Every park has beautiful scenery and the most amazing wildlife. Each is somewhat different – for instance, Tarangire has the most elephants, Serengeti the most wildebeest and zebras, and Ngorongoro the most variety. Everything about these parks is amazing and beautiful and full of exciting adventures seeing thousands of animals and birds, and spotting some of the hard-to-see animals like leopards and rhinoceroses.

Our driver-guide Cornel was with us for the whole time, and he was the most exceptional guide, in every way. He is extremely knowledgeable about the animals, the birds, the parks, and he enthusiastically shared this knowledge with us for the entire week. He is an amazingly skilled driver. He has the uncanny ability to spot animals from afar we would never have seen – leopards, lions, rhinos, cheetahs - and to get to the best possible spots for us to be able to photograph them. He was always punctual, extremely well organized, cheerful and patient.

During the week, we also had the chance to visit a village near Lake Manyara (Mto Wa Mbu), a Maasai village on the way back to Arusha, the market in Arusha and another village (Ilkedinge), all of which were very interesting, gave us a chance to meet some local people, eat some local food, and get a sense of life as lived by Tanzanians.

The lodges we stayed at (we chose “comfort plus” establishments) were outstanding, with excellent food, and very comfortable rooms.

All in all, it was an unforgettable experience in every way.

5/5

We wanted to go on a safari before we climbed Kilimanjaro. We looked at a a custom tour for us. They were price competitive and came up with some good suggestions.
The guide was excellent not only was he very knowledgeable on the game park but his knowledge of birds and flora was also exemplary.

5 Day Trip - Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater
5/5

I contacted Easy Travel & Tours based on their reviews on Trip Advisor and received timely and great service from Theo. He gave us some great recommendations and made sure that all our requests and needs were met. There is honestly nothing bad I could say about this company. They were very invested in our trip and made sure that we had an experience of a lifetime. Our driver Ombeni was the best and became a great friend. He made sure that we experienced everything that the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater had to offer. I highly recommend using Easy Travel & Tours and make sure to request Ombeni as your driver.
