Incredible Once In A Lifetime Experience
Our Masai Mara safari was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, made unforgettable by our incredible guide, Joshua. His deep knowledge of the wildlife, keen eye for spotting animals, and genuine passion for the Mara brought every moment to life. From watching lions feasting on a wildebeest 30 minutes into the safari, to witnessing the start of the Great Migration, to having a picnic beside a flock of 100 vultures & Marabou storks, to spotting 3 rhinos roll around a mud bath, or a seperate sighting of a rhino and baby calf, to watching a rae cheetah walk straight past us and the peak moment of the safari; watching a lioness stalk, hunt, chase & kill a Wildebeest, Joshua made sure every game drive was memorable, safe, and full of adventure.
A huge thanks also goes to Chris from the company, who was professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire booking process. He made planning the trip easy and stress-free, always available to answer our questions and ensure everything was perfectly arranged.
The combination of breathtaking landscapes, abundant wildlife, and outstanding service made this safari one of the best travel experiences we've ever had. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone considering a visit to the Masai Mara—you won’t regret it. Worth every penny. Joshua is the best!

We had an amazing experience. Uganda is very beautiful country. The Sunup Adventures were always quick to reply prior to our arrival, and were able to readjust our trip when airline cancelled our flight last minute and we had to purchase new ticket to arrive a day later. The Sunup adventures are very friendly and extremely helpful with everything. Our guide, Big Ben, is full of knowledge about all the plants and animals and very patient with all our questions. Everything was very smooth and we saw so much and I know this was due to hard work of team of Sunup Adventures and our amazing guide Ben. Thank you for memories we treasure for the rest of lives. Excellent local Maasai tour: the big 5 in 5 hours
If you are looking for a well organised Kenyan organisation to book your safari tour with, we highly recommended this operator as all went smoothly, and we spotted the Big 5 in less than 5 hours!
We booked a private 4-day Maasai Mara Safari tour through Chris which we were able to customise it to our liking. We opted for 2 full days in the Maasai Mara park, and stayed at the Enkorok Mara Camp just outside the park.
Our driver and guide Robin, an experienced Maasai (10+ years of touring), was always on time for the pickup and eager to answer questions and talk about the animals or Maasai culture. Most importantly, he knew the park really well and allowed us to see so many animals with great angles for the pictures. Just with a single day would have been content, but we saw even more the second day and had time to also take pictures of the 'less impressive' animals.
Of course, this is a game drive. It is called a game because of the luck required to see the wild animals and sightings cannot be guaranteed, yet as with any game you can turn luck in your favour with the right skills and strategy. Robin definitely knows how to play the game!
Chris was also happy to help us with other inquiries we had in Kenya, such as booking the train.

Amazing experience!
Thank you Sunup Adventures for organising thw most amazing first safari in our lives! Special thanks to our driver John, who went above and beyond to cater all our needs and wishes! We were on 4D, 3N safari in Masai Mara and Nakuru- semi luxury, private safari, it was amazing, the whole tent complex was amazing, people were really good to us. We were ablw to visit everything we wanted- Masai village, multiple game drives, Girraffe center. Thanks to John we were able to see all Big Five animals (John suggested we wait for the leipard for almost an hour but it paid off and was amazing). While in Nakuru we asked if there are flamingoes and John took us to the other end of the lake to make sure we see some even if this made us late for the closing of the park. Chris and John even helped us book train tickets and pay our accomodation after (mpesa needed). Thank you again for everything and I really hope we get to ro another safari sometime in the future!

Over the top local tour operator
We worked out with Chris (owner of Sunup) a tailor made trip to the center & north of Kenya. With my friend we love to visit a country without the mass tourism of some places. During our 8 days trip with Sunup we went to Meru Reserve, Samburu, Naivasha lake and Hell's gate reserve. Every day was different and amazing. The guide/driver took care of us like we were family. We highly recommend this local tour operator, and honestly we prefer to book via local tour operators than large international tour operators.

Communication has been smooth with Chris since the beginning. Very easy to arrange things.
We booked a private 4D 3N trip to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru, mid-luxury, with Safari jeep.
I highly recommend to go for a Safari jeep because it’s more reliable and stable when navigating through muddy terrains.
Our guide was John and it was truly a 5-star experience. We have learned so much not just about wildlife but also about Kenya. John is very knowledgeable and very welcoming. We had a lot of fun conversations during the trip.
I cannot think of anything that could be better.

Great experience - above expectations
Our tour in Tanzania with SunUp was great. Richard our guide is experienced, very punctual and professional and cares deeply about finding amazing animals in Safaris. For instance in Serengeti, he spotted a Serval Cat which is notoriously elusive and rare, one of our bucket list animals. The management of the tour was super clear and Chris who organized for me is very responsive helpful and nice. All lodges / hotels were nice and beautiful. We had the very best time. I highly recommend the company and Richard to have the best possible trip in Tanzania’s Northern Circuit. 5 stars very well deserved! Thank you guys.
