Quality safari with reliable service and excellent guide
5/5

We booked a 2 days safari in Masaai Mara from Nairobi. Everything was well organized and the lodge comfortable. Our guide and driver Andrew did a fantastic job finding animals and approaching them as much as possible. It really was an unforgettable experience!

Packed tour with the guide at its heart
5/5

Overall an unforgettable experience. Got to see the big 5 and so many other animals. Only interesting ones we didn't see were the leopard and honey badger.

Biggest shout out goes to the tour guide Joshua. He was there to answer all our groups question and told interesting facts about Kenya and animals. We loved that Joshua was able to tell about the culture and customs of Kenya, not just animal facts. Also he was very approachable and kind. During the short 5 day trip we built a friendship with the guide and the rest of the group.

The schedule was packed, but that was a good thing. 2 days in Masai mara was definitely enough considering the lake Nakuru had a lot of the same animals. Nakuru had much prettier nature in my opinion.

Accomodation was pretty good, a lot of the same food everywhere but I guess that is to be expected. I wouldn't change it.

Out of all the cars we saw, the configuration of ours was the best with sliding windows and open roof. It provided a safe experience even when close to predators unlike some cars that rolled the whole side up.

Good to know if you have back pain or similar is that the last 60 minutes or so to Masai mara from Nairobi is very bumpy and rough. It looked like they were building a better road, but consider that. Also roads in all national parks were quite bouncy.

I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Amazing Safari Experience with Our Guide, Peter Kapino!
5/5

Our Kenya trip was absolutely unforgettable, and a big part of that was thanks to our incredible guide, Peter Kapino. From day one, Peter impressed us with his friendliness, professionalism, and deep knowledge of Kenya’s wildlife and landscapes. He turned every drive into a fun learning experience!

Peter knows the parks like the back of his hand — he could spot animals from unbelievable distances and identify every bird, tree, and track with ease. He shared fascinating facts and stories that made us appreciate the beauty and balance of nature even more. His passion for conservation and respect for wildlife really stood out and made us feel we were in the hands of someone who truly cares about the environment.

He’s also an amazing driver — calm, confident, and patient even on tough, muddy roads. Peter always made sure we had the best views for photos, while still respecting the animals’ space. We always felt safe and comfortable, no matter how long the day was.

What made the experience even better was Peter’s personality. He’s kind, funny, and always ready with a smile or a good story. He went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy — from checking on our comfort to teaching us a few Swahili words along the way. By the end of the trip, he didn’t just feel like a guide — he felt like a friend.

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to show us Kenya. Peter made every moment special, from sunrise game drives to evenings sharing stories about local culture. If you’re planning a safari in Kenya or the Masai Mara, ask for Peter Kapino — you’ll have an amazing, safe, and educational adventure you’ll remember forever.

Peter was the best and i would recommend him to all.
5/5

Our journey through Kenya and the Masai Mara became truly unforgettable because of one person — Mr. Peter Kapino, our exceptional guide and driver. From the moment we met him, Peter’s warm smile, professionalism, and deep understanding of the land set the tone for an incredible adventure. He was not just a driver; he was a storyteller, historian, wildlife expert, and a friend rolled into one.

Peter’s knowledge of Kenya’s landscapes, wildlife, and culture was nothing short of remarkable. Every location we visited came alive with his insights — from the rolling savannahs of the Masai Mara to the breathtaking escarpments of the Great Rift Valley. He could identify animals from miles away, name every bird in sight, and explain the fascinating balance of the ecosystem in simple, engaging ways. His passion for conservation and respect for nature were truly inspiring and taught us to see the wilderness not just as a tourist attraction but as a living, breathing world worth protecting.

One of Peter’s greatest strengths was his driving expertise and calmness in all conditions. Whether maneuvering through muddy tracks after rain or navigating narrow paths teeming with wildlife, he made us feel completely safe. He always ensured we got the perfect vantage point for photography — patiently positioning the vehicle so everyone had a clear view, without disturbing the animals. His professionalism and respect for park rules reflected his integrity and deep commitment to responsible tourism.

What stood out most was Peter’s warm personality and genuine care for his guests. He was always punctual, organized, and attentive to every detail — from ensuring we had water and snacks, to checking that everyone was comfortable before each drive. His sense of humor kept our long journeys lively, and his patience made every day stress-free. Even after hours of driving, he never seemed tired or rushed; instead, he treated each day as a new opportunity to share Kenya’s beauty with us.

During our time together, Peter became more than a guide — he became part of our travel family. He shared stories about Kenyan life, culture, and traditions, giving us a true sense of connection with the country. He even taught us a few Swahili phrases, making our experience both educational and fun!

In short, Peter Kapino is the perfect ambassador for Kenya — knowledgeable, kind, professional, and passionate about his work. Thanks to him, we didn’t just see Kenya; we experienced it in its truest sense. We wholeheartedly recommend Peter to anyone planning a safari or adventure in Kenya. If you want your trip to be safe, educational, and filled with lifelong memories, ask for Peter Kapino — you’ll be in the best hands possible.

Memories for a lifetime
5/5

We took part in the budget 4 day trip and wow was it value for money. We had amazing time, looked after from start to finish by our guide Sudam and Lenchada. Spotted all the big 5, more than once so you could say we saw the big 10. Adding Lake Nakaru definitely worth it for some amazing rhino encounters. Would recommend this company to anyone that wanted to safari in Kenya. Thanks !

Amazing tour, choose Lenchada!
5/5

It can be tricky to book a safari tour from distance, without any local knowledge. I had companies wanting to charge me up to 70% upfront, operators with many reviews that, after a closer look, were mostly fake. If you're in this stressful position, I advise you to choose Lenchada without thinking twice. They were professional from beginning to end. The vehicle, acommodation and itinerary were exactly as agreed. I asked for a bean bag and they provided me with one free of charge. Their price was competitive and the driver, Robert, was punctual, cordial and knowledgeble. He is a hard worker and ensured we spotted more animals than we could have hoped for, always from the best angles.

Knowledgeable, friendly and adventurous!
5/5

Peter Kapino was our guide and he was EXCELLENT. He came with in depth knowledge of the Masai Mara park, showed us some hidden gems (hippos and crocodile sightings), and was an excellent guide with a keen sense of adventure. Peter seemed to know how to find tons of wildlife and had a good rapport with the park staff and other guides. The lodging at Lechanda (sp?) lodge was cute, comfy and cozy. Perfect place to wind down after a big day out. Definitely recommend.

Good service and communication! Comfortable stay. Peter kapino went the extra mile for our trip, he was knowledgeable and kind. It was comfortable to ask questions and we got to see so many animals! Will remember the trip forever. He was clearly very experienced with the park and animals. We stayed at the sankale camp and it was clean and quiet. Access to solar electricity and warm water.
