The booking rep responded very patiently to my questions. Our safari was priced more reasonably than I expected. The food at the preserve was delicious, a good variety served, and all staff members were helpful and friendly. The balcony view as fabulous. We had never been on a safari, &
we didn’t know what to expect. On a preserve it was much easier 2 c game than had we visited 1 of the large national parks in Africa. However, it seemed there were 2 many people going through the preserve and the animals were 2 used 2 seeing people. This was particularly true for the lions that were separated from the other animals. This gave it a zoo like feel.

Great customer service!
Gems of Africa were wonderful to work with as we looked for a place to stay for our honeymoon in Kruger Park. They got us an amazing rate at the lodge we stayed at and were very helpful and responsive during the entire process. Would definitely recommend!

Thank to the tour operator , we were able to book the remaining room at the safari. Tour operator was good with communication throughout the booking and trip. Everything was well taken care of from hotel transfer , check-in and accommodation. We have a fabulous time at the Aquila private game reserve and the safari.

Aquila Private Game Reserve - a great alternative
We had a short but great experience visiting Aquila Private Game Reserve - just two hours from Cape Town. It's a good alternative, when you have not so much time to see some "wild" animals. The service of Gems of Africa Safari and Tours was great, especially their communication and patience..., since we had some complicated problems by transferring the payment.

Excellent communication, very helpful and flexible.
We chose the more expensive of the three tours offered and it was worth every penny. Beautiful landscapes and wonderful to get so close to so many animals in the wild. The lodge was luxurious, the food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. One of the very best experiences we have ever enjoyed.
