They are the best!
África big Cats safari was an amazing choice . From the begining the information, booking process and attention given to us was great. When we were already in Tanzanie they organised a meeting with us and they were very gentle and helpful. We received a detailed brief and recommendations. Finally, the time to go in this adventure came and we meet our amazing guide Khaled, an experience and very passionate about nature, he was amazing, we had all of the explanations about the animals, he knew how and where to find them. he was full of knowledge and ready to share it with us. Our five day trip couldn’t be better. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, the lodges where we camped, the food, we loved it all. Now, back at home we can say that this safari is for sure a core memory and we will try to come back as soon as possible. We 100 % recommend it

After providing clear evidence that several of the services offered during the trip did not meet even the minimum quality standards, the only response I received was a generic apology and a "good luck in the future." Instead of offering any form of compensation or solution for the substandard services I paid for, they completely washed their hands of the issue. A total disappointment.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to learn that certain aspects of your post-trip experience did not meet your expectations. Please know that we take all guest concerns seriously and are committed to addressing them with transparency, care, and fairness.
Following your remarks, we thoroughly reviewed the service elements you highlighted. Some of the challenges—such as the change in the balloon activity and the canoeing experience—arose due to operational constraints beyond our immediate control. That said, we fully acknowledge the impact they had on your overall journey and sincerely regret any inconvenience caused.
The hot air balloon activity was relocated from the Western to the Central Serengeti due to unforeseen complications on the operator’s side. While the activity itself was fulfilled, we recognize that the change extended the transfer time and may have affected your enjoyment. We are currently working to enhance how such changes are communicated more clearly and in advance moving forward.
Regarding the canoeing activity, a rare equipment malfunction occurred despite the canoe having undergone regular maintenance. This area is typically a reliable and safe site we use for all our guests. However, recent heavy flooding in Lake Manyara has significantly altered the shoreline and surrounding conditions, which clearly influenced your experience. As a result, we have strengthened our equipment inspection protocols and are actively reviewing the site. We’re also considering temporarily suspending canoeing in that area until the natural environment fully stabilizes.
We deeply regret if our post-trip communication felt impersonal or insufficient. That was never our intention, and we are actively re-evaluating how we manage guest follow-up to ensure our responses are more empathetic and personalized. While compensation is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, we are committed to offering fair resolutions and continuously improving through each guest experience.

Our fantastic guide showed us everything we had hoped for
The tour was really great; we went on the 6 day/5 night safari to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, and Tarangire. Our guide, Obedi, was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable about the animals, community, and environment, and even better he was excellent at spotting the animals. We had hoped to see cheetahs and got three, along with two leopards and numerous giraffes, elephants, and even a secretary bird. Very much worth the price and everything on our trip went perfectly smoothly without a single hiccup. Big Cats was even able to give some good advice on visas when we were worried.

Dedicated, Organized, and Flexible
My wife and I had an absolutely incredible time with our safari adventure through African Big Cats Safaris. Our guide, Lodhi, was so kind, knowledgeable, hardworking, and flexible throughout our trip. He picked us up from the airport on time, explained so much about the wildlife, Tanzanian culture, and answered any questions we had. He was a very skilled driver and maneuvered the jeep through mud and flooded roads with ease. We always felt completely comfortable with him. We were astonished with his wildlife locating skills - he was able to get us some unforgettable views of lions, elephants, a leopard, cheetahs, etc. He always knew exactly where to go! He was also very accommodating when it came to picking us up from our hotels in the morning for our daily game drives - he never made us feel rushed. He made it clear we could go whenever we wanted. My wife and I also thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with him and learning about his culture. We would highly recommend booking a safari with African Big Cats - but specifically ask for Lodhi if you want an unforgettable experience!

What a wonderful experience!
Me and two friends went on safari at the beginning of the year. The experience was wonderful. From the moment we were picked up at the airport until we returned. Lordi, our guide, explained everything to us wonderfully even in our native language (Spanish) and did his best to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. If I were to go back to Tanzania, I would definitely choose them again.

The most responsible and brilliant operator with excellent guide team.
First of all, we saw all BIG FIVE in a very very short time! Our guide Lordi is so talented and knowledgeable. He knows nearly everything about animals. When he saw the leopard is yawning, he knew he is awake and ready to move. When he saw it’s looking around and staring, he knew there will be a hunting. That’s why we can see a lot of big cats as well as their activities. We even saw two lions mating in the grass. So romantic. The best scene we met was 3 lions killed a buffalo and waited for their buffet, while 8 hyenas showed up and confronted. At the time we thought it would never succeed, a troop of buffalo turned around and headed to the lions. When lions had to leave, buffalos held a very solemn funeral ceremony for their friend. Stunning! It’s something you could never see in the city or zoo or any documentaries. It happened in the wild and remembered in the wild. Thanks to the nature and our guide. Also thanks to ourselves to be this lucky and patient. All communications with the operator and guide are so efficient and well-achieved. During our safari journey, we asked a lot of questions, Africa history, politics, culture about Masai, tribes, animals, human activities and animal behaviors…everything you could come up with. Lordi is such a knowledgeable and kind guide that he answered every question, gave vivid descriptions and offered a lot of amazing stories. We love him and we bet he would miss us too since we have 100% trust on him and cooperate with him to make this amazing journey come true.

The service was very considerate. Our tour guide Lordi was great. He had eagle-like eyes and was first-rate at finding animals. He could always help us get the best angles because he saw that we loved taking photos. He even accurately predicted the movements of animals and waited for them to walk to the car.
