Hakuna Matata …it means no worries
Communication was easy. The whole trip was managed by big cats including tickets to Arusha and hotel.
Service is top notch
The only comment is related to the value of the money as it was too expensive around $ 2k for 2 nights 3 days trip

Great service from arriving in Arusha to dropping us back; excellent from start to finish. Accommodation, meals, transport was all great and the safari was incredible.
Cannot recommend the 5 day comfort safari and this company enough!
Best Safari Experience
We decided on the Serengeti years ago but due to covid, the idea was delayed. I finally came across African Big Cats as I did want options of a standard and luxury safari as far as the hotel accommodations were concerned. African Big Cats exceeded my expectations. We were on the 5 day 4 nights luxury Serengeti tour and it was magnificent. From the airport pick up and then drop off to the tour in between, they were all so kind. Justice, the safari booking agent with African Big Cats, was beyond helpful with booking and very thorough and assuring that all our questions were answered beforehand. Our personal guide, Lordlugard, was amazing and an excellent guide. He had so much valuable information that added to the history of the Serengiti and of course Tanzania. If you are hesitant on what company to choose as when present in Tanzania, we realized how plentiful the tour company options were, African Big Cats superseded our expectations.

Excellent service from the beginning to the end including our tour guide Valence!
The entire team at African Big Cats Safaris provided an excellent integrated service from the booking process right through to the safari tour itself.
Their administration team, including Esuvat and Emmanuel, were accommodating, efficient, and responsive in organizing our safari tour at short notice as we considered several different itinerary options.
On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our excellent tour guide Valence patiently waited for an hour as we processed our tourism visas (which we hadn’t done in advance). From there, everything went smoothly, and to plan, as Valence made it his priority to ensure that our 4-day safari trip was as enjoyable as possible for us as the customers. Valence was extremely knowledgeable about all things relating to the Safari and Tanzania and was happy to answer any questions/queries we raised. Although there was an itinerary in place, Valence was also flexible around our daily schedule to suit our own personal needs. This included bringing us to a local Masai village at short notice which wasn’t on the original itinerary.
In addition to our tour guide, the transport, accommodation, food, and drinks were also excellent. We saw all the animals that there were to see, and we left feeling that the trip went as well as we could have expected.
In summary, I would highly recommend African Big Cats Safaris and Valence to anyone considering a Safari Tour.

Amazing experience !
We had a 3 days safari with African big cats . The communication Was easy and pleasant during all the preparation of our trip. The service was very good with excellent choice regarding hotel. Don’t hesitate to give your recommendations because the agency can easily adapt to your requests which is much appreciated. We had the chance to see a lot of animals even the rare ones !! I truly recommend this agency to discover Tanzania .

Amazing!! Venance is a friend we will cherish forever!
Amazing experience from enquiring to the safari itself. Justice responded extremely promptly and was very thorough in explaining everything. Emmanuel who picked us up was excellent and very enthusiastic and friendly, before we headed off for the safari he let us know what to expect and was very informative when he took us to Mount Kilimanjaro. Imran our guide for the Kilimanjaro day hike was amazing, very genuine person and down to earth person. Lastly Venance, I cannot put in words how amazing he made everything. He is a very knowledgeable guide and only wanted the best experience for us. He did his best to ensure that we saw all the big 5 and made sure that we left Tanzania content and did not miss out on anything that we wanted to see, on the last few safari days we had yet to see the African Black Rhino but Venance did everything in his power to make sure we found one and we did!
If you want the best experience ask for Venance! He was more than just a guide but a friend during the safari trip. We hope to cross paths with him again in the future.
Be sure to add the cultural experience with the Hadza and Datoga tribe as that was one of our highlights. Also the Ngorongoro Crater Rim Walk, one of the most stunning views and you get to enjoy it alone because not many people do it!
Perfect on every detail
We had a 6 days safari in Arusha area of Tanzania.
All the logistics before our arrival were very well managed, Justice was so patient and helpful until we got the perfect plan for us.
Our guide, driver and friend was Lody. He did everything to give us the best experience ever. We learned from his knowledge not just about animals but about Tanzania, the country, the culture and the population.
The landscape and nature was amazing everywhere, we couldn't stop taking pictures and Lody managed to fulfill all our request. We miss him already.
The lodges and camps were exelent, well located, beautiful and comfortable.
Food was very good in the accommodations and on the way. Tanzanian people were very friendly, I'm sure we will meet for another round.

Fun and informative
They were very punctual and friendly!
They did everything we had agreed for.
They even delivered to Zanzibar one iPod that got lost in one of the lodges we stayed free of charge!
Accommodation was great and 4/5 days food was great too. One of the day the food was average but I guess that is also a matter of personal preference.
No food poisoning whatsoever.
The schedule they did for us it was really good!
We did the 5 days safari, I would definitely do with 6 personally to spent one more day in Serengeti!

Amazing Experience!
I highly recommend Big Cat Safaris! I had a wonderful experience. Our driver Venance was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable about all of the parks and the animals there. We were very lucky and were able to see pretty much all of the animals. The accommodations were lovely and all of the travel between parks was well organized. The tour is definitely worth the price and I would absolutely book with Big Cat Safaris again.

Very professional company, amazing guide Valence
Would highly recommend this company! Very clear communication (in advance before the booking and during the tour) and very professional (e.g. our driver from Kilimanjaro airport let us call with the manager which gives a feeling of trust) We did the 3 day tour to Tarangire, Ngorongoro crater and Lake Manyara. Great combination of different vegetations and we really enjoyed the rides in the jeep. Our guide Valence gave us a once in a lifetime trip. If you have the opportunity to choose Valence, please do! The company should definitely hire him!!! He told us a lot about not only wildlife but also about the Tanzanian culture. When we had a question he could’t answer (like a random question “how old can voltures become?) he figured it out during the evening and told us the answer the next day. We’ve seen the big five already after two days thanks to Valence. He was a great wildlife spotter and was really willing to go the extra mile (e.g. day one at Tarangire national park we already entered the exit but he heard about a leopard). We drove towards the leopard and we were very lucky to see one hanging in the trees. He made us feel really safe and it was a great experience with him. Every morning felt like we started with a college about the Tanzanian culture in the jeep (we asked him a lot). So for us the experience was not only about seeing the big five, but also about the added value on learning about the country. Accomodations were great (especially Kitela lodge), also the lunch boxes were really good! Amount of animals was impressive, especially in the crater and Tarangire. Great value for money and really good service. Strong knowledge on how to make you feel comfortable. 5 star plus!
