Martin was amazing, knowledgeable, funny
Martin was amazing talking about every animal we saw and giving us details about them, he always stopped in the right spot for photographers and if you needed to move for the right angle he did , he had sense of humor making everyone laugh and safe on our game drives, he made my entire experience to Tanzania for the first time amazing and rememberable for my first time, I recommend Martin for your guide!!

Exceptional Safari Experience
From start to finish, our trip with African Big Cats exceeded every expectation. The level of organisation and professionalism throughout was truly impressive; everything ran smoothly and it was clear that a great deal of care goes into how they plan and manage their tours.
Our guide Samuel was an absolute highlight of the experience. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure every member of our group had the best possible time. The Best Safari Tour
We joined a 6-day private safari covering Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire, and it was an unforgettable experience. Thanks to the detailed itinerary and important notes, we were able to participate with peace of mind. Visiting several national parks with such different landscapes and wildlife made the trip incredibly rewarding.
Our guide, Claus, found the animals we wanted to see and always gave us plenty of time to observe each animal without feeling rushed. He also shared fascinating information about their behavior and characteristics, which helped us gain a deeper understanding of the wildlife. Thanks to his dedication, we enjoyed every moment of the safari.
The most unforgettable highlights were witnessing the Great Migration, which was even more spectacular than we had imagined, watching a cheetah hunting, and encountering two black rhinos.
If we have the opportunity to go on another safari in the future, we would definitely choose African Big Cats Safaris again and ask for Claus as our guide.

Our honeymoon was simply perfect and this safari exceeded all expectations.
From day one, we felt welcomed and cared for impeccably. Special thanks go to our guide, Martin, who made this experience truly unforgettable. Martin is truly passionate about his work: his knowledge of the area and the animals, combined with his infectious enthusiasm, allowed us to experience unique emotions. Thanks to him, we managed to spot all the Big Five, a goal we had dreamed of since the beginning of the trip. Furthermore, he is an excellent guide, always attentive and professional, and made us feel safe and at home throughout the experience.
The selection of lodges was also impeccable. All the facilities exceeded our expectations: beautiful, meticulously maintained, and immersed in breathtaking scenery. Each lodge had its own unique charm and helped make each day even more special.
Another strong point was the food. The dinners upon returning from the safaris were always excellent, with quality dishes and excellent service. Even the picnics during the excursions were perfectly organized: Martin always had everything we needed, with great attention to detail and the comfort of his guests.

My wife and I came to Tanzania for our honeymoon. I was completely satisfied with the entire process. The booking was made easy and they had planned out a very detailed itinerary. They were very responsive in all communication before our trip answering all questions I had. All transportation from lodge to lodge was timely and well organized. Our safari guide Lovoi was great. He was very knowledgeable and helpful with all questions we had regarding the places we visited and the animals we saw. He did a great job of making sure we were able to see everything we wanted to see. All lodges we stayed at met my expectations or exceeded them. 5 star experience and 5 star guide (Venance)
We had the most amazing 5 day guided safari with African Big Cat Safaris. Our guide Venance made the experience, totally professional with impressive knowledge of the wildlife and habitats and exceptional eyesight. Venance managed the whole trip and led us to see the big five, cheetahs, and black and a white rhino. I cannot recommend this company enough to anyone looking for a safari trip, 5 star guide, 5 star service and a 5 star experience. We especially loved the Zuri camp accommodation in the Serengeti which had great food, amazing rooms and the staff were brilliant.

A trip of a lifetime, thanks to Venance and African Big Cats Safari
We recently spent our honeymoon on a trip through Tanzania planned by African Big Cats Safari. We had the absolute best time!! From the very start, African Big Cats helped us plan our dream vacation. Naomi was incredibly helpful in tailoring our itinerary and very responsive with our (many) questions and concerns. The actual logistics on our end could not have been simpler. We arranged our flights and when we arrived our driver was ready to pick us up, from there African Big Cats handled everything else.
We spent several days with our driver, Venance, traveling across some of the national parks of Tanzania. Venance was an incredible guide. He was well organized, polite, and wonderfully friendly. His sharp eye and expansive knowledge of the history, wildlife, and culture in each of the different parks ensured that we did not miss a single thing while we were out in the bush. If we are ever so lucky to be back in Tanzania, we will definitely be asking for Venance specifically.
Because our itinerary spanned so many locations, we stayed in a different lodge almost every night. Every accommodation that African Big Cats booked for us was perfect! We got to experience a lovely variety, from the private villa at Kitela Lodge up in the hills near Ngorongoro Crater, to the deluxe tented cabins of the Nyota Luxury Camp in the Central Serengeti. Each place was unique, but they were all equally wonderful. African Big Cats communicated to all of them our dietary restrictions and excursion plans, we never had to worry about a thing. Our only regret is not getting to stay in the beautiful accommodations longer!!
Once our safari adventure was (sadly) over, African Big Cats arranged for our flight from the Serengeti to Zanzibar and a driver to the resort they booked us at. Once again, they handled absolutely everything and it could not have gone more smoothly. Our stay at the Melia Zanzibar resort was the perfect way to relax and decompress after nearly a week of bouncing around in the back of a Land Cruiser. When our trip finally came to an end, African Big Cats again arranged a driver to the airport and we were on our way home.
If you are considering a safari trip, I cannot recommend African Big Cats Safari enough! Our honeymoon was a truly once in a lifetime adventure; and Venance, Naomi, Emmanuel, and everyone else at African Big Cats were a huge part of why it was such a success. Tanzania is a beautiful country, we were so lucky to have had such a wonderful trip exploring it!

As a couple, we spent four wonderful days with our excellent guide Martino. He was kind and capable of taking us to the right places to see the various animals in the various parks we visited. The Serengeti alone was worth the trip.
Excellent facilities, breakfasts and dinners lived up to our expectations.
A reliable company from the very first contact, always available for communication and questions, both through Naomi and the manager we met at the beginning and end of the tour.

Wow!!!! The greatest experience!!! Did not have any expectations/knew very little about Safari before our trip. Most Unforgettable Experience Thanks to Big Cats
We had an unforgettable safari with African Big Cats, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I traveled with my two sons, and from start to finish the company was responsive, thoughtful, and deeply professional.
Our guide, Festo, was truly exceptional. His knowledge of the animals, the landscape, and the rhythms of the Serengeti made every game drive feel meaningful. We saw the Big Five in a real and unforgettable way, along with so many other incredible animals and moments that my boys and I will remember forever. Festo was patient, kind, funny, and wonderful with my children. He knew when to wait, where to look, and how to explain what we were seeing in a way that kept all of us engaged.
What stood out most was not only the wildlife, but the level of care. When we experienced an issue with smoke/fire near one of the camps, African Big Cats was responsive and helped move us so that we could continue the trip safely and comfortably. That responsiveness meant a great deal to me as a mother traveling with children.
The kindness we experienced throughout the trip was extraordinary. Festo made us feel cared for every day, and by the end, it was genuinely emotional to say goodbye. My youngest son even wept at the airport because he did not want the trip to end! That says everything.
This was more than a vacation for us. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, beautifully planned and guided by people who clearly care about their guests. I am deeply grateful to African Big Cats and especially to Festo for giving my family memories we will never forget.
