Memorable Kenya trip with Wildtouch Africa
5/5

We found Jacob of Wildtouch through Safari Bookings. From the time we first connected, Jacob has been most responsive and forthcoming. It was his speed of response, openesss to adjust to our schedule and requirements and overall transparency, that made us decide to do our safari with him. He also booked really spectacular hotels for us, which enhanced our travel experience manifold.

Kenya wildlife is spectacular. The trip organised for us made sure we went to the best of parks and were able to see all the animals up close. Our guide, Ben, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

The kids loved the food and the hotels that were booked and all of us enjoyed the trip immensely.

I think the trip would not have been half as enjoyable if it were not for Jacob and his entire team at Wildtouch. For that, thanks a lot. I have not stopped referring him to all my friends ever since we came back.

I was thrilled with my Safari!
5/5

I was thrilled with my Safari of Samburu National Reserve! The tour guide, Dennis, was extremely knowledgeable. He had a degree in tourism focusing on animals, and could spot and name any animal from a mile away. Dennis was also personable and patient while I took many, many photos, and answered all of my questions about the animals. I thoroughly enjoyed my tour and wouldn't hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend this company to others.

Kenya, Beyond our expectations!
5/5

Before the start of our trip we had already very good communication with Jake. He really tried to develop a trip adapted to what we want (combination of sport safari and relaxing). When we arrived in Kenya, this was exactly what we got! We really enjoyed the trip with Jake and Ben! Nice safari bus (with african motives) to get around Kenya, beautiful places to spent the night with great scenery. Safaris beyond our expectations, biking trip in hells gate next to the giraffes and zebras, really nice!

breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable wildlife encounters
5/5

Jake, the Managing Director of Wildtouch Tours, is extremely receptive and very good at fine tuning the adventure to your style, your schedule, your priorities and what you want to see. I love animals and wanted the maximum amount of time in the park to see the all the wildlife, and so the trip was planned around that priority. Samburu and Buffalo Springs Game Reserve really delivered. I've been to most of the other big parks in Kenya, notably Masai Mara, Amboseli and Nakuru etc.. and Samburu is a little off the radar, but very special and I would say one of the most surreal landscapes, giving way to stunning backdrops to your wildlife pictures. Some of the most beautiful sunsets i have ever seen in my life and so many animals! Jake and Wildtouch Tours arranged that I stayed at Ashnil camp, a premier camp, with beautiful luxury tents right on the river behind a fence to keep the animals out . All these luxury tents were equipped with hot running water, electricity, mosquito nets, comfortable beds. Even though I was by myself, it was really romantic. I woke up to seeing an elephant having a drink in the river at dawn right before I left to go on my sunrise game drive. Just me and a giant elephant having a moment; simply beautiful. What I will say though, is that this itinerary was not cheap albeit a memorable experience. I thought the price was a little high especially for a single lady, but you sure won't be disappointed and will be left with lifelong memories. Finally, Ashnil camp has world class dining and a fantastic wine list and extremely nice staff. The campgrounds (which also featured a swimming pool), the fine dining and lovely drinks were perfect for relaxing at night after being in the bush all day.

Superb! Well organised and very professional.
5/5

I spent nearly two weeks in Kenya in september and Wildtouch tours looked after us well. We had an amazing trip that included the lakes, rift valley, mount kenya, Mobassa and the Mara. All modes of transport and accomodation was seemless sorted out and very well organised to a high standard. It is very helpful to book direct with an African based tour operator for an African tour as I think it is ethical and more economical. I know my friend who booked the trip and found this wonderful company found them very accessible to answer any queries promptly and very helpful with the itinerary and planning, and certainly very patient as she kept on changing her mind about our trip! The driver that took us to the Mara was brilliant and very knowledgeable and we were lucky enough to have Jacob with us. Both were so professional and very knowledgeable. They know the Mara so well and have hawk like eyes that can spot something no one else can see in the distance and get you to it. We were fortunate enough to see the big 5 and countless other amazing things thanks to them. The whole trip was seemless and I am looking forward to my next tour with Wildtouch. I would highly recommend them and use them again. I have been on safari before but this was by far the best. Thanks again Wildtouch!

Jacob is attentive and excellent. He catered to our specific needs professionally.
5/5

Jacob has organized several holidays around Kenya for my friends and I. My personal favorites were the Mara, where he had a knack for spotting the big 5, and Diani, where he organized an off-piste paradise getaway. I will definitely be using his services again.

Bucket list item and a dream come true
5/5

My dream of going on safari came true and more importantly the experience was amazing. Wild touch tours and Jake ensure that I was well looked after and educated about the animals on the Mara. We saw all big 5 animals because of their knowledge and experience of the Mara. We went near the end of the great migration and still saw so many wonders. Magical, beautiful Kenya, I left my heart on the Mara and couldn’t recommend a better tour to take. Thank you again for making my dream come true.

Knowledgeable, helpful, kind, funny! 10/10!!
5/5

I’m getting emotional as I write this review because this was truly the most incredible experience of my life. TLDR version: don’t think twice, book this trip with Wildtouch Tours! The Kenyan people are the nicest in the world, and our expectations across the board were far exceeded.

Before I start the details I have to also celebrate Peter, our guide. You guys, this is the kindest man on the planet. He’s the driver you want for every reason but especially because he knows every other driver out there and they all love him. That made me feel so safe because it was apparent that even in the middle of absolute nowhere I knew there was a community who, thanks to Peter, all had our backs. Our troops motto was “IN PETER WE TRUST” and for good reason. He always had an eye out for the animals we wanted to see, would stop and ask other drivers what they were seeing to make sure we got the good stuff, and he had the best attitude no matter how early or how late it was. He kept the jeep clean for us daily with plenty of fresh water bottles If we wanted to sleep in, no problem. If we wanted a shorter game drive or longer game drive, no problem. He would say “the time is for you”, so there was never a stress about when or where to be. The time was for us. He was sweet, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and safe! He would get us real close to some animals but he never let his guard down in case we needed to go. I was nervous being a few feet from giant elephants but after a day of seeing how he operated I never worried again. He made sure we were safe first at all times, even to the point where I asked him to come on the boat ride with us because I know hippos don’t play around, and at that point his presence let me know he’d hold the driver of the boat accountable with our safety, which he did end up doing as we got a little to close to a bunch of big hippos and babies. We got a flat tire with the hot air balloon company at five am and it was Peter who came to change it. Don’t know how he knew or where he came from but he was there. The guide can make or break this experience and Peter MADE IT! In Peter we trust!

Details: we were a group of six, and we all had many questions leading up to booking and Jacob was in constant communication for a couple months fielding questions, getting the ideas of our wants, and telling us all the steps to be ready to go, all before we had even paid him! I’m sure the money is great but we could tell early on it was about us and our experience more then anything Jacob. An example is we had an issue with the visas at the airport because delta was being dumb and I was on the phone with Jacob getting new visas processed while still at the delta counter. He was going to make it happen no matter what, even though it all turned out fine. We booked a seven day trip going to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, and the Masai Mara. Come February we got our visas, travel vaccines, and Covid tests, and we were on our way. It was such a relief knowing all we had to worry about when we got there was money for drinks, souvenirs, GRATUITYS (plan to be generous as the service was amazing everywhere, and plan to be VERY generous with your guide because what they do for you on this trip is above and beyond in every way possible), and any excursions you want to take. We did all three offered on our trip: the trip to the masai village, the hippo boat ride on lake Naivasha, and the hot air balloon ride over the Mara.

We landed in Nairobi, and were met at the airport by a driver to take us to a nearby hotel. The following morning we were met by Jacob and our guide for the week Peter. After or orientation we were off! I loved the drives to and from the parks because we got to see so much of the Kenyan people, towns, and landscape. Amboseli was fantastic , giant elephants, herds of zebras, and my favorite was the monkeys and baboons who lived at our hotel. Gorgeous cold pool, massages, game drives, and the masai village in Amboseli.

Next was lake Naivasha. Gorgeous lodge, great food, hobbit style buildings that we slept in, hippos, and Topi’s in the back yard, and a night walking safari to see the giraffe and zebras in the front yard. It was INSANE! The boat ride is a must, the lake is spooky and cool. Soooo many hippos, pelicans, and storks. My only regret from the whole trip was not staying there an extra day.

Masai Mara, another gorgeous pool where you can hear the hippos talking from the nearby river. The river view was incredible, we saw a hippo take down a croc from the comfort of the bar balcony! Lions, foxes, Pumbas, hyenas, giraffe, topi’s, Cape buffalo, all the incredible birds, meerkats, mongooses, ostrich’s, a freaking leopard in a tree with her fresh kill, we saw it all!

On the ride back to Nairobi Peter took us to a look out to see the Great Rift Valley. He took us to plenty of curio shops to get all of the most incredible souvenirs too. Jacob met us at dinner that night in Nairobi and we shared our experiences and he was so happy to heard we’d had an amazing time. The two of them dropped us off at the airport and tears were had by all in having to say our goodbyes. WORTH EVERY PENNY!
