Reliable and Efficient Operators
All my experience with Gilmag Safaris has been even over my expectations, both during planning and during the journey itself. Cannot recommend Gilmag Safaris highly enough! I interviewed several travel providers before going with Gilmag and the difference in service was night and day. Our contact, Mary listened carefully to our needs without trying to upsell us. We had a very ambitious itinerary planned, and Mary went out of her way to ensure the logistics—from dietary restrictions to several transfers went smoothly.
Mary helped me in figuring out the itinerary and accommodations that would have better fitted with my interests and desires with a particular care also about my cost target.
During the journey our contact person was easily reachable by phone and email to give me support. Our guide, Nickson was knowledgeable, extremely friendly and an absolute pleasure to be with. I totally recommend Gilmag Safaris to anyone planning a well-managed trip to Tanzania

Wonderful Safari
We just got back from exploring Tanzania and had a spectacular time! Gilmag Safaris is by far first class all the way. Everything was perfect from the time Gilbert picked us up at the Kilimanjaro airport until he dropped us off at the Seronera Airstrip to catch our flight to Zanzibar. Wonderful accommodations and food selection everywhere we stayed.
We had an amazing African experience where we saw all kinds of animals and witnessed lions strategizing, killing, stalking, etc....saw the big 5! The service we received was outstanding start to finish. Nothing but praise for this safari company.

Perfect Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar Beach Vacation
The communication between myself and Mary was on time, reliable and accurate. She was very accommodating to my requests. And everything that was mentioned in the itinerary was as it was and all on time! The lodges and tented camps booked were very comfortable and cozy. But of course, the safaris were the best part with Nickson as our guide. We took so many amazing pictures of the wildlife. The tour guide, Nickson, was the best - very knowledgeable and experienced - we'll never forget. The safari was perfect with real effort to find us all the animals we wanted to see, Nickson full of knowledge and willing to show us the best of Tarangire, Manayara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. The food everywhere was amazing and we got a beautiful singing performance from the staff at Serengeti Serena Lodge.
A Gilmag Safaris tour is worthwhile if you want to experience the magic of Africa with reliable airport transfers both in Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar.
We'd recommend Gilmag Safaris to anybody and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Wonderful Tanzania Safari at a good price
I knew Gilmag Safaris through my friends who came on their trip in 2019. So I knew what to expect. But I must say; my expectations were exceeded. I absolutely loved this safari Company. Mary was really quick at responding to our correspondence and very helpful during the process of booking. Very straightforward and highly dependable. I liked the transparency from the first day and the professionalism in this company was awesome.
Our meet and greet at the airport was so friendly and helpful and put us immediately at our ease. Jimmy, our tour guide was very proactive, he briefly told us about all the animals we saw and even about some plants. He was always on the lookout for animals and made that extra effort to ensure we could see maximum animals. He was a very safe and reliable driver guide. These guys provide very good value for money ratio.
Thank you for giving us exceptional and profound memories, we will no doubt be back to see you again.

Dream Safari
We chose Gilmag Safaris for their glowing reviews, reputation and fantastic customer support. My first interaction with Vivian from Gilmag Safaris couldn't have been more welcoming and nicer. SEAMLESS SAFARI
The communication was seamless with Mary, who was our planner of the trip. She responded to my emails in a really quick manner, even on weekends, I really appreciated that. It felt easy to communicate with Mary before and after the trip. She managed to organize a great first safari for us that fit our budget. Gilbert was our guide and he was amazing and super professional. We were picked up from our hotel in Moshi to discover Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Gilbert managed to find the best spots for us to watch the animals. We did see all the Big 5, thanks to him.
The lodges and tented camp were inside the national park – very well located with plenty of animals to watch from the accommodation. We highly recommend Gilmag Safaris to anyone planning a trip to Tanzania

Good Value For Money Safari
Gilmag Safaris are good in communication and kept me updated. The safari met my expectation. The most outstanding was our tour driver; Nickson. Fantastic Honeymoon Safari in Tanzania
I spoke to a few different agents, but Mary seemed the most knowledgeable and understood what it was we were looking for. She offered us thoughtful choices for our holiday, working within our budget. Mary was very responsive and easy to get hold of, and always extremely helpful. All the transfers went smoothly. The whole trip was efficient and effortless for us. Epic Tanzania Safari
Gilmag Safaris took us on a 7 days safari to Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, which we just completed.
From beginning to finish everything was perfect. Our emails were answered on a timely manner. Mary was fast and patient with our numerous back and forth queries. We had the most experienced and knowledgeable guide - Nickson. With his assistance, we saw all the animals we expected to see. The choice of accommodation was impeccable. We loved Four Seasons Lodge in Serengeti - a beautiful hotel with panoramic view of Serengeti. We loved watching elephants at the waterhole.
