We just finished an absolutely incredible safari in Tanzania with Gilmag Safaris, and it was perfect from start to finish. Every detail was well‑arranged, the vehicles were comfortable and reliable, and the whole team was professional and friendly.
And our guide, Elias,he has incredible wildlife knowledge and knows the parks inside out.
His eyes are sharp; he spotted animals we would have never seen on our own, including rare and elusive ones.
He’s patient, thoughtful, and always went the extra mile to make sure we had the best views and photo opportunities.

Perfect safari experience with excellent service
Our Tanzania safari was absolutely unforgettable, all thanks to this amazing company and our incredible guide, Nickson!
Nickson is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about wildlife. He has an outstanding eye for spotting animals—we saw lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and so much more, even the most elusive ones. He is also a safe, careful driver and always made sure we felt comfortable and secure.
The whole trip was well-organized, smooth, and worry-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better experience.

Dedicated and responsible
The three of us have a combined age of over 200: I'm 69, my husband is 70, and my sister is 64. We quickly finalized our itinerary after communicating with the travel agency's employee in Beijing. My intuition proved correct; we enjoyed a wonderful eight-day trip to Tanzania, experiencing all five of Africa's largest wildlife species, and were satisfied with our food, accommodations, and transportation.

Our safari experience was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Prosper. From Central Serengeti to Arusha, he demonstrated incredible knowledge of wildlife, sharp tracking skills, and a deep respect for nature. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, and he always positioned the vehicle perfectly for both viewing and photography while making sure the animals were never disturbed.
What impressed us most was not just his professionalism, but his patience, awareness, and intuition. Prosper could read animal behavior, anticipate movement, and explain what we were seeing in a way that made every moment meaningful. When we witnessed a real hunt in the wild, he calmly guided us through what was happening, helping us understand the reality of nature beyond just spectacle.
Prosper is not only an excellent guide, but also a thoughtful, responsible, and passionate person who truly loves what he does. If you want a safari that is safe, insightful, and deeply authentic, you could not ask for a better guide. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing
I traveled with my old pals. I was contacted by the Chinese agent, Felix, who was very responsive in answering everything, even helping me out when my outbound flight got canceled. The local guide Eric is the best. He was very polite, punctual, careful, and knowledgeable. He kept the car very clean every day, and drive us around explaining not just the big five but everything we encountered, including little chameleon crossing the road, trees, birds. We absolutely enjoyed the game drive with him. We were also very impressed with the hotel/camp arrangement; no worries about hot water or WiFi… not to say cleanness. Everything is top notch. We would happily recommend it to everyone and come back with Gilmag next time.

I and my family members recently enjoyed an exceptional safari with Gilmag Safaris, based in Kenya and Tanzania, visiting Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, and Tarangire National Park. As a family of six, we had a magical, well-organized experience with affordable admission fees and a relaxed five-day itinerary.
The atmospheres varied beautifully: Serengeti's vast plains felt wild and free, Ngorongoro's crater was dramatic and intimate, and Tarangire's baobabs created a serene, timeless vibe. It wasn't overcrowded, making it perfect for bonding.

Excellent service reasonable price
My friends and I just returned from Tanzania having completed a 12 day bush to beach safari. Everything exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Frank was knowledgeable and had good sense of humour. We saw all the Big 5 and much more.

We had a wonderful adventure -- the best!!! I highly recommend booking your trip with gilmag safaris. They are quick to respond with helpful information. The trip was everything we wanted, and more. The guides in Rwanda and Tanzania were knowledgeable, informative, flexible, and fun and friendly. We saw animals, culture, country, wonderful people. Our guide in Tanzania made extra efforts for us to see "The Big Five". The lodging was clean, the food was delicious. These are truly professionals at Gilmag Safaris -- highly recommended. Our Safari Highlight: Our Guide Siha from Gimag.
As Chinese travelers in Africa, safety is our top priority—especially since we're a group of four women. That’s why having a reliable guide matters so much.
Our guide, Siha, left a deep impression on us. With his kind and approachable demeanor, and though he’s around our fathers’ age, he’s full of youthful energy and passion.
We felt truly lucky to have Siha lead our safari. With over 20 years of experience, he knows the animals, terrain, and local culture inside out. Thanks to him, we learned so much and broadened our horizons.
What also stood out was his thoughtfulness. He quietly noticed we love chili sauce and Coca-Cola, and even brought us some at his own expense. When we expressed interest in seeing a leopard, he went out of his way to take us to different spots in search of one.
I’d wholeheartedly recommend Siha to anyone visiting. He’s enthusiastic, optimistic, driven, and makes you feel safe and cared for—a guide you can truly trust.

Amazing trip,amazing Gilmag
Thanks to Gilmag for arranging a perfect trip to Tanzania for us. The connection was very smooth from the beginning. The Chinese contact Felix was very professional and patiently answered every question. I would like to especially thank our guide Siha. He was an excellent guide. He was very professional and explained a lot of animal knowledge to us. He knew everything about Serengeti like an animal expert. We saw lions and cheetahs very close.He left early every day and was the last one back every day. He also brought tableware to provide us with hot lunch every day, which other people did not have.Our team was very satisfied with Siha.I highly recommend Siha, the best guide in the world.
