Amazing！
It's a great experience! It is very convenient and friendly to have Chinese ground connection. The guide is excellent, the rhythm control is good, and I can see almost all the animals. The boss is also very nice. The overall service and itinerary are very good. I am also satisfied with the recommended hotel～

Our recent trip to Tanzania proved that the glowing 5-star reviews for Gilmag Safari are absolutely legitimate., from planning to execution.
Our local guide, Godlistens (Gody): Gody is a phenomenal, 5-star guide. He prioritized our safety while consistently positioning us for incredible, close-up wildlife views. As a bird enthusiast with still much to learn, I am impressed by his expertise; he is a walking offline Wikipedia who patiently answered all our repeated questions. Upon request, he also shared fascinating stories that gave us meaningful insights into Tanzania's beautiful culture and local customs.
Seamless Coordination by Felix: A huge shout-out to Felix for his exceptionally prompt responses during the planning stages and throughout the trip. He patiently addressed every minor detail we raised and even went the extra mile to coordinate a birthday cake and celebration for my friend.
Outstanding Accommodations: We spent most of our stay at Lemala Lodges, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The food, service, and overall comfort made us feel entirely welcome and safe. The outdoor showers were a spectacular highlight!
Tip for Future Travelers: If you do not fancy taking a dip in the water, we suggest skipping the Chemka Hotspring. While the scenery is beautiful, it is a very long drive, and the local guards can be overly pushy for tips.

Over our expectation and have a wonderful trip!
The company is very professional and provide us very good suggestion about the hotel selection, we enjoyed every hotel with the reasonable price and best service. Felix who is the local partner of the company can revert our questions quickly and try his best offering the good terms and price of our trip. It is worth to recommend this company to our friends.
The tour guide is also really professional and helpful to safari the wild animals, we saw all top 5 wild animals during the trip. It was an excellent experience to all of us.

Amazing experience
First of all, the communication through the whole journey was smoothly and pleasant. They arranged everything very well and planned my accommodation and agenda ahead, which was proved to be reasonable. Secondly, my guide Eric, he was amazing in terms of finding animals in the wild. He’s very familiar with all those national parks that I went. Finally in the hotels that we selected together were very nice and I was satisfying about the whole journey.

An unforgettable 2026 Spring Festival holiday~~
We went to Tanzania for the Spring Festival in February 2026 and contacted Gilmag Safaris about half a year in advance. The contact person was Chinese, so the communication was very convenient and friendly, providing 100% sincerity and allowing us to confidently book this trip.
For 6 days and 5 nights, our guide Waziri was knowledgeable, diligent, and cautious. Every time he stopped the car, he talked about the plants, animals, and landforms here, making our trip more meaningful. He almost allowed us to see all the animals, which was really exciting. Every day was full of expectations and surprises.
I am very willing to recommend Gilmag to my friends around me. It has a high cost performance ratio and provides a full experience. I suggest that you try to leave early in the morning when camping. The probability of seeing feline animals in the morning will be much higher, and you may even see hunting!

Our early communication was excellent. All my questions were answered promptly, and the itinerary was well-organized at a reasonable price.

Super excellent holidays with Gilmag Safaris
The four of us just had an wonderful holiday with Gilmag Safaris this February. My friend first made contact with their Chinese agent Felix, and he was helpful from the start. We had a bit of trouble booking hotels at first but he was persistant and found us really nice stays. He almost contacted us everyday during our visit to make sure everything went well. Especially when our connecting flight from Da res Salam was changed from landing in Kilimanjaro International Airport instead of Arusha Airport, he quickly arranged our driver to pick us up so we didn't have a messed-up start.
We went to Tarangire, Ndutu, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide Steve was abosultly amazing, sharp-eyed and an exceptionally good driver. We enjoyed our time with him and so lucky that he lead us to see the leopard from day 1, and the Big Five eventually. He was chatty, friendy and had a funny sense of humour that made our days.
It was an unforgettable trip, everyday was unbelievably perfect. We've seen so many animals, not only the big cats, but colourful birds, eelands, dik-diks, and serval--basically everything we wished to see. It was like a dream come true when we actually experienced the scenary from the documentaries. I'm sure we will be back soon since there are so much we haven't seen, and finally a big thanks to Gilmag Safaris who guaranteed our wonderful trip!!!

GILMAG is an extremely professional and dedicated local tour operator. From pre-trip inquiries to any issues during the journey, the staff in China were always responsive to our questions, providing professional advice to help us make perfect decisions for our itinerary.
We would like to thank our driver-guide Noel from GILMAG. He is an experienced, calm, intelligent and knowledgeable person. He took us to see the Big Five in Africa and could always accurately identify the best spots for taking great photos.
Noel is also a lucky charm—with him around, we always got to see many extraordinary sights. We thoroughly enjoyed his company throughout the trip and have made a promise to meet him again in the Serengeti next time.
