Epic Safari with Gilmag
My friends and I had a fantastic Safari with Gilmag Safaris. We did a 6 days Safari to Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Gilmag Safaris did an amazing job in assisting us to plan our trip. They were so accommodating and provided all the transportation, accommodation and resources we needed. Our guide, Nickson was amazing; very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw all the animals we were interested in seeing including bonus wildebeest migration in Serengeti.
We loved every aspect of our trip. Gilmag Safaris exceeded our expectations. We have already recommended Gilmag Safaris to our friends and colleagues. We can't wait to come back with Gilmag Safaris as our travel partner.

Once in a lifetime experience
Gilbert was our tour guide for the most memorable 10 days of our lives.
Gilbert was an amazing guide, super professional and such a lovely guy and was one of the best drivers we have ever had. We have to navigate some extremely treacherous roads and his handling of the vehicle was outstanding.
His English is also fantastic and his knowledge and experience was second to none. I can’t wait to come back.

Amazing experience! Everything perfect and phenomenal safari!
Gilmag Safaris has been extremely efficient with all the communication before the safari, sharing suggestions and tips about how to get the most from it. Mary also supported us also during our stay in Zanzibar caring for all the logistic details. During the safari, our driver (Nickson) could speak Italian and made the difference: he was always in touch with the other drivers to find animals, always nice and never tired. We strongly recommend Gilmag Safaris!
Great experience and service

There are over 1000 (maybe 2000) safari tour groups to chose from which made it stressful and time consuming to pick one for us. I'm so glad we landed on Glimag and, if lucky to return, would go straight back to this company.
Mary, the point person in planning your trip, provided incredibly fast responses to all inquiries and detailed itinerary. I felt absolutely confident that she had things organized.
We did a 3 night, 4 day safari and they successfully packed in many sites: Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, lake Manyara. Our driver was Nickson who was wonderful, attentive to our needs and totally reliable. He knew his way around all the sites and was clearly connected with all the other drivers in the park so could quickly zoom in on rare animal sightings. Staying at Eileen's Tree Inn and our tented camp also were great choices for my family of 4.

Amazing experience with Gilmag and Gilbert (our guide), we cannot recommend them enough.
Probably the best tour company in our 4 month Africa trip.
Some of the reasons:
- Very affordable package compared to all other safari companies offering the same. They are a local company that started 3 years ago looking to build their profile.
- Excelent Serena hotels and we had a free hotel upgrade (+$100 more expensive)
- Very customizable Safari, we had the option to select full days or two half days. Full days was mostly our choice so we could get further away from the camps.
- Gilbert took us to non-tourist areas in Serengeti (research area). We saw +10 cheetahs and lions in one day.
- Very experienced guide, Gilbert had +7 years experience. He had great communication with other guides that gave him an advantage finding animals (lions, leopards, cheetahs).
- The car quality was excellent.
In summary, we feel really lucky to have picked up this company for our safari.

Best Business Trip
Four of my friends and i visited Tanzania with Gilmag Safaris. Mary and her crew offered us the most incredible trip one can ever dream of. We started with a climb of Kilimanjaro. Gilmag has some of the best mountain guides and porters. We all reached the peak and were awarded with achievement certificates.
After a successful climb, we began our 7 days safari which was equally enjoyable. Ngorongoro crater was awesome. We saw lots of animals, including the rare black rhino. Serengeti was just breathtaking, with millions of wildebeests and large prides of lions. Our guide, Gilbert was the best. With his help, we managed to see all the big 5.
Thank you so much Gilmag for making our dream a reality. It took us years to save up for this trip and you made it worthwhile. We give you 7*..

Absolutely Amazing Experience
Our group of 5 went to Tanzania a week ago. We found Gilmag Safaris online and soon realized that we had discovered the right company. It was a week long trip and it was well organized. We had correspondence for months prior to our trip. The trip itself was exceptionally well organized. Our guide Kessy was fabulous. His wildlife knowledge was impeccable. He made sure our expectations were exceeded.
We loved our accommodation; food was exceedingly delicious. Our highlight was Tanzania Bush Camps in Ndutu. I can't hesitate to recommend Gilmag to anyone wishing to visit this stunningly beautiful country.

An epic adventure I would want to relive again and again ......My go to Safari
We recently went on safari with Gilmag Safaris and had the best time. Gilmag is a great company that is all about customer service. We were treated wonderfully during the process of selecting the itinerary that fitted us. All our questions were answered on time. From the start, Mary helped us to create a holiday tailored to our wishes, including safaris, relaxation, cultural tours and beach holiday.
On arrival, we had a very warm welcome and a lasting impression. Our group had 3 guides, Chris, Luis and Kwame. These three individuals made our trip absolutely unforgettable. They helped us in every aspect of our adventure with great big smiles. They were patient, extremely knowledgeable, understanding and very well coordinated. They made sure we saw all the Big 5 and much more. Our wildlife safari was amazing but the highlight was wildebeest migration in Ndutu and Hadzabe tribe visit.
We have done many safaris several times and none of those can compare to the Gilmag experience. I strongly recommend Gilmag Safaris.

For us it was really an amazing experience like going into a film of National Geographic. Our guides Gilbert and Luis were extremely nice. They are very professional, skilled, efficient and very competent; They showed us beautiful Tanzania filled with wonderful scenery and charming people. Despite the rough terrains, our safari jeeps were comfortable and looked well maintained.
