Huge experiense
Our trip was exelent!
This was first time in Kenya, but not last!
We visited Amboseli, Tsavo east and west national parks. Amboseli was absolut great: we saw so much animals there!
Everything was planed for us, accomdation has booked for us, train ticketes, taxis etc.
And off course we hava great quide : how has good sense of humor😊 -we like🤣
Nothing bad to say! We get huge experience, thank you!

Most kind and excellent tour operator!
We booked a four-night safari with Saunterland Africa Tours, and from the very beginning, our experience was excellent. Communication with James was perfect. He helped us choose a wonderful itinerary and created a beautiful route. He even assisted us with booking train tickets to Mombasa after the safari, which was incredibly helpful.
Once in Kenya, everything was arranged and organized flawlessly. We were picked up from the airport and driven straight to the Maasai Mara. Our driver and guide, Jeremy, was extremely kind, professional, and knowledgeable. He did his very best every day to show us as many animals as possible, and most importantly, he always showed great respect for nature and wildlife.
We had two full days in the Maasai Mara and one full day at Lake Nakuru. And yes—we were lucky enough to see the Big Five and many, many more animals! Since it was our honeymoon, Jeremy went the extra mile and even arranged a romantic picnic inside the Maasai Mara with wine. It truly couldn’t have been more special.
All the accommodations we stayed at during the safari were excellent, with friendly and welcoming staff. And the food was amazing!! Throughout the trip, James regularly checked in to make sure everything was going well. We are so happy that we chose Saunterland Africa Tours and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari experience.
Dream Safari
Today we're finishing our Kenya Safari with Sauterland Africa Tours. Our entire family (aged 3 to 70) was with them. We couldn't have dreamed of a better family trip. We got the company on a recommendation and will continue to recommend them!
A huge thank you to Suleiman from Tanzania, with whom I arranged every detail of the trip. Our drivers (guide) in Kenya were outstanding – Dan and Harun, thank you! We'll never forget this wonderful adventure. They were very friendly and helpful. They always answered our questions and shared lots of interesting facts.
I hope we'll be able to return under their care, this time to Tanzania!

First class service
We have just returned from an amazing holiday, organised in conjunction with Saunterland Tours, who worked with ourselves to put together a personalised itinerary
This included feeding the Giraffes,the Karen Blixen house (Out of Africa), Elsamere the former home of Joy Adamson (Born Free), a balloon flight in Masai Mara, to visiting sights that inspired many scenes in Lion King, (pride rock, the echo wall of sound)
Our guide Simon Gathai, looked after us for the full trip, even selecting a guide for Mount Longonot who gently encouraged us during the accent, to checking out the driver collecting us for the balloon flight.It was good to have a guide who was so knowledgeable not only on the area but the wildlife
Nothing was left to chance. He managed to be in the right place, for a very close encounter with a lioness, and finding the elusive leopard, ensuring we saw not only the big 5 but the Ugly 5, plus so much more. We ended with beers and nibbles in the Masai Mara park while the sun was setting on our holiday.
Sautnerland tours did everything possible to ensure the trip was on eto remember from making sure we were kept hydrated with the supply of good clean water and personalised water bottles, even contacting ourselves during the trip to ensure everything was as expected.

This was great and we had the best driver/guide
Everything went very well. We enjoyed our safari so much. We had the best driver/guide Dan, he is a gem. We saw and experienced more than we expected- thank you!
Amboseli was great, Tsavo was ok.
The car was good and spacious.
The firm was trustworthy and information given was clear and in time.
We really recommend this for anyone.

5 star tour
In November 2023, my sister and I decided to book two 1-day tours on short notice before leaving Kenya. We went to Ol-Pejeta the first day and the Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Centre the second day. Communication with James via WhatsApp was always very prompt and professional. We were able to book our tours with only 48 hours notice! Sooo lucky!
Both tours were fantastic. Our drive to Ol-Pejeta from Nairobi was beautiful. We really enjoyed the Conservancy, the included lunch and the company of our guide, Daniel. He was so cool.
The Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Centre were also a great experience.
Overall, we can’t recommend Saunterland Tours enough. A great value for the experience. I’ll definitely be reaching out to them on my next visit to Kenya.

One of a kind experience!!
The safari in Uganda and Kenya has been great. My brother did safari with Saunterland in 2021 and referred me to them. I can attest its a great team starting from James handling the mails, Derrick who guided us in Uganda and Simon our guide in Kenya. Definitely I would travel with them again in future.

Great Kenya and Tanzania safari experience
Just finished a safari with Saunterland team in both Kenya and Tanzania. The communication with James via email and whatsapp was prompt and professional. James curated a 12 day safari starting in Nairobi and ending in Arusha. We did Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara in Kenya and proceeded to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and ended in Tarangire. The vehicles were clean. The driver who also served as guides had an indepth knowledge of the parks, wildlife and various cultures. Definitely it was an amazing experience to us!

A tour worth every penny!!
My husband and I came across Saunterland as we were searching for our safari in Kenya. We have been in a safari before in South Africa through another operator in 2008. This 4 days safari in Kenya exceeded our expectations by far. James was propmt with emails and Patrick was a guide with a hawks eye. He could spot animals from a distance and explained about them with expertise. The Ashnil facility in Masai Mara and Sopa lodge in Naivasha were dope. We opted for the safari land cruiser.It was clean and well maintained. Obviously I would recommend Saunterland for the memorable safari experience

Amazing safari experience
Reached out to the Saunterland team for a 4 day safari in Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. The planning was good, prompt response and good recommendation of hotels. We stayed at the Castle Mara and Sarova Lion Hill lodge at Lake Nakuru. The game drives were comprehensive and can't thank enough Ken our guide for the good job.
