In the 70s I discovered the bush with John Dugmore, the legendary patriarch of this family of erudite specialists. In the year 2003, my family went out into the wild with Roger Dugmore, John’s son. And a few weeks ago, I was back for more nature-immersion with Justin Everingham, Roger’s nephew. I wonder how, even now that I am an old lady, I three human beings have left such an intense impression on me. Justin guided us through Paradise, generously offering us all-encompassing knowledge of the fauna and flora of Botswana.
