excellent with vast experience
Short trip back home
on a pressed schedule back home we exprecienced an exclusive adventure through the maasai mara. We enjoyed every moment right from the pick up at the airport in Nairobi to the conservancy at Mara. Silas is very experienced and handled the reservations swiftly prior our arrival and professionally throughout the journey. We manourvered through the park on a landcruiser viewing wildlife exclusively at close range and were amazed at Silas' vast first- hand knowledge on various animals. From a pride of lions preying on bufaloes to vultures feasting on elefant cadaver.
A stop at a traditional manyatta with interactive dancing to maasai Songs culminated our safari.
We took a day relief at our home in Migori enjoying nyama choma and delicacies before embarking on the road trip back to Nairobi on the fourth day.

Joel is very knowledgeable and highly experienced
I had an amazing safari experience with Joel! He is a very experienced and patient tour guide who went above and beyond to make sure I had the best possible wildlife viewing experience. He took his time searching for animals and never rushed the tour, even spending extra time looking for wildlife close to the road so I could enjoy better views and take great photos.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to see any lions despite driving around in search of them, but that's the nature of a real safari and completely beyond anyone's control. Even so, the experience was incredible from start to finish.
I highly recommend Joel to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated safari guide. Thank you, Joel, for an unforgettable adventure!

The best adventure 🫶
We had an amazing safari experience! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our guide was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared so much interesting information about the animals, nature, and the national park, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We felt safe, well taken care of, and had plenty of opportunities to see wildlife up close. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. Very knowledgeable about the park’s animals
We saw lots of animals on the 4 wheel-drive morning tour, some very close up. Great and fun experience and highly recommended.

Silas is a flexible, warm, enthusiastic tour guide and owner
We had an amazing time in a large group of about 40 tourists from Taiwan. Silas had to coordinate 7 Land Cruiser drivers across over 1000 km of driving, more than 6 national parks, and a group of people all with different preferences, attitudes, and needs. He did an amazing job and my family was fortunate enough to ride in his vehicle.
Silas is incredibly knowledgeable about the parks, having over 20 years of experience, and it was amazing to see him driving around without any need for navigation. He always maintained a positive attitude throughout the trip even when some clients were, in my opinion, unreasonable in their requests.
He also showed us a couple spots, even the in the most busy Maasai Mara national park, where no one else really knew of.
Overall, I’d highly recommend Free Africa Tours. Silas will take great care of you!

EXCELLENT TOUR
We had an absolutely wonderful safari experience in Nairobi! From start to finish, everything was well organized and enjoyable.
Our tour guide, Junior, was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience interesting and memorable. Our driver, George, was equally fantastic, ensuring we had a smooth, safe, and comfortable ride throughout the tour.
The safari bus was very comfortable, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches, including the water provided during the trip.
The highlight, of course, was seeing so many incredible animals! We saw zebras, a cheetah, hippos, ostriches, rhinos, and many other beautiful animals in their natural environment. It was such an exciting and unforgettable experience.
Overall, we had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed every part of the safari. A big thank you to Junior and George for making our experience so special. We would happily recommend this safari company to anyone visiting Nairobi and would definitely use them again!
10/10 experience! Highly recommended.

Knowledgeable,punctual, kind, organized and willing to go the extra mile!and
Joel, our driver, knew exactly where to take us. We saw a lion, giraffes, zebras,wildebeest, impalas, ostriches, hippos, rhinos, baboons, antelope, crocodiles, buffalo, hyrax and others, along with many birds. He explained their behaviour, from "lonely loser" antelopes, a "forever" pair of small birds who crossed the road and waited for each other, and the crazy,hilarious ostrich courtship, with a female who truly was not interested! Joel can also tell stories about mamas and babies, geststion, lifespans, friends and enemies...
On the practical front, he minimised road bumps, gave ample time for photos, and even managed to squeeze in a trip to a nearby bead factory. He was flexible and understanding about the need for a different drop-off point after the ride, too. It was a magical moment.

So, I am a travel writer from the UK.
All I can say is that is, if you want a trusted tour, with geniune people who go the extra mile to help you then this is the tour to go with.
Exceptional service, picked up at the hotel, taken on the tour and dropped back off at the hotel. The tour guide was very friendly, explained each part of the tour thoroughly and was the perfect host.
If you want value for money look no further, infact this company should actually charge more.
