Very knowledgeable about the park’s animals
We saw lots of animals on the 4 wheel-drive morning tour, some very close up. Great and fun experience and highly recommended.

The best adventure 🫶
We had an amazing safari experience! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our guide was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared so much interesting information about the animals, nature, and the national park, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We felt safe, well taken care of, and had plenty of opportunities to see wildlife up close. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari adventure. Thank you for such wonderful memories!
Joel is very knowledgeable and highly experienced
I had an amazing safari experience with Joel! He is a very experienced and patient tour guide who went above and beyond to make sure I had the best possible wildlife viewing experience. He took his time searching for animals and never rushed the tour, even spending extra time looking for wildlife close to the road so I could enjoy better views and take great photos.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to see any lions despite driving around in search of them, but that's the nature of a real safari and completely beyond anyone's control. Even so, the experience was incredible from start to finish.
I highly recommend Joel to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated safari guide. Thank you, Joel, for an unforgettable adventure!

Posted on Jul 9, 2026Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for taking the time to share your experience with us!
We're delighted to hear that Joel made your safari such a memorable one. His passion, patience, and dedication to providing guests with the best possible wildlife experience are qualities we truly value, and we're thrilled that they made a positive impression on your adventure.
While we're sorry the lions didn't make an appearance this time, as you mentioned, that's part of the excitement of experiencing wildlife in its natural habitat—every safari is unique and full of surprises. We're glad you still enjoyed incredible sightings and had plenty of opportunities to capture great photos.
Your kind recommendation means a great deal to both Joel and our entire team. We truly appreciate your support and hope to welcome you back to Kenya for another safari, where hopefully the lions will be waiting to greet you!
Regards,
Wilberforce

excellent with vast experience
Short trip back home
on a pressed schedule back home we exprecienced an exclusive adventure through the maasai mara. We enjoyed every moment right from the pick up at the airport in Nairobi to the conservancy at Mara. Silas is very experienced and handled the reservations swiftly prior our arrival and professionally throughout the journey. We manourvered through the park on a landcruiser viewing wildlife exclusively at close range and were amazed at Silas' vast first- hand knowledge on various animals. From a pride of lions preying on bufaloes to vultures feasting on elefant cadaver.
A stop at a traditional manyatta with interactive dancing to maasai Songs culminated our safari.
We took a day relief at our home in Migori enjoying nyama choma and delicacies before embarking on the road trip back to Nairobi on the fourth day.
We will be back soon, Silas 😉

Wonderful guided safari experience with Silas
Our experience with Silas was simply amazing! He is very knowledgeable and passionate, making great efforts to accommodate your wishes. We went on a safari with him to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. He can also take care of your bookings, of which we were not aware, but would make the trip even better. Sit back and enjoy the views and great stories! Thank you again Silas, my internal memory card has been filled with joy!

Best experience ever!
It was an amazing experience! Sylas took us for 3 nights on a safari tour. We visited Naivasha lake, Nakuru national park and the Masai Mara. Sylas is a great driver and knows how to find all the animals in the parks. We had a full game drive in the Masai Mara where we saw cheetas playing with the car, leopard, many kinglions, a hurdle of elephants and many many more. It was the best experience we could have wished for! Besides that we also had a lot of fun together. We stayed at nice resorts with good food. Everything was perfectly arranged. We would highly recommend booking your safari tour with Sylas.
Asante sana, Sylas!

Silas is reliable, kind and always good-spirited.
I would definitely recommend traveling with Free Africa tours through Kenya. Our guide Sylas made sure we saw the most beautiful spots and arranged everything for us. It was such a blast traveling to Nakuru & Masai Mara. Five stars!

More than excellent gamedrive guide who gave us the time of our life!
My wife and I spent a couple of days in Masai Mara to do three days of gamedrive in this wonderfull park. We booked via Free Africa Tours & Safaries Ltd. Included was a really lovely hotel (inside the park) named the Sarova Mara Game Camp. The communication with the company went very professional, all of our questions were answered very quickly. Our guide for the gamedrives was Mr. Silas Anemba. He is an extremely experienced guide who knows everything about the flora and fauna in the park. His presence and attitude are discreet. His enthusiasm for his beatifull country was touching. On top of that he is a very safe driver who takes no risks and makes you feel comfortable (standing) in the jeep. He continuously is looking for animals. We got wild seeing the big five but also enjoyed standing with the jeep for some minutes in the middle of a herd of antilopes. And ofcourse the jeep was always parked in the best position for taking a picture.
We thank Free Africa Tours & Safaries Ltd and especially Mr. Silas Anemba for giving us the time of our life.

Operator had everything under control; driver/guide was very experienced, relaxt and full of humor
We were especially content about the way our driver/guide conducted the tours through the three parks we visited: Amboseli, Naivasha and Masai Mara. He was always exactly on time and had a lot of interesting things to tell about the animals in the parks. Moreover: he knew when to wait a little so we - for instance - got to see how a cheetah started running for a gazelle and: caught it.

Very reliable operator
We have spent 5 days/ 4 nights with Free Africa Tours and Safaris in the Amboseli, Nakuru and Masai Mara NPs. It was a nice trip and we have seen a lot of animals and due to the distances between the NPs we also got a bigger picture of the different Kenya landscapes. Even if the time pressure was a little too high due to the long trips from one NP to the other we enjoyed the tour and we are happy that we followed the recommendations from Free Africa Tours and Safaris and our driver Joel. I.e. we made a nice boat tour on Lake Naivasha on our way to Masai Mara.
The only pain point we have to mention was the short term notification by Free Africa Tours and Safaris about the significant entrance fee increases at Masai Mara. But also for this case Silas Anemba had a good suggestion how to deal with it. Since 2010 it was our 7th Safari and I must admit that on the one side the adventure and the beauty of such a tour has not changed but on the other side the NPs are meanwhile very much visited by poeple which do not have the respect for the nature and the animals.
